After a long wait and poor treatment, they made me wait over 25 minutes for a replacement. In the end, they tried to charge me for food I didn’t eat. Totally unprofessional. Never coming back. 01/06/2025: Already been in 2021, I went back hoping that everything had remained as it was then. And luckily even better! The food was excellent, fresh, quality, prepared in an excellent way. The two guys in the dining room were kind, friendly and courteous. The owner was an exquisite person. Generous portions. Prices that may seem high, but in relation to the quality of everything, they are more than fine. For us, which is not the first time on the coast, this place remains the best. We will recommend it and we will return. They really care and love their customers. A round of applause also goes to the accommodation facility above with the same name. Managed by Imma's cousins, the owner of the restaurant. Alessio, his mother and his partner are exquisite, friendly, kind people and they care that everything goes as well as possible. We had a really good time. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with a breathtaking view. Breakfast served abundant, sweet and savory. Everything was delicious, everything went for the best. It's nice to find positive feedback. Thanks for everything and see you next time

01/06/2025: Già stata nel 2021, ci sono tornata sperando che tutto fosse rimasto come allora. E per fortuna anche meglio! Il cibo ottimo fresco di qualità preparato in maniera eccellente. I due ragazzi in sala gentili cordiali e cortesi. La titolare una persona squisita. Porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi che possono sì sembrare alti, ma in rapporto alla qualità di tutto vanno più che bene. Per noi, che non è la prima volta in costiera, questo posto resta il migliore. Lo consiglieremo e ci torneremo. Hanno davvero cura e amore per i clienti. Un plauso anche alla struttura ricettiva soprastante con Lo stesso nome.

05/05/2025: They don't know how to cook and they're very expensive for a pasta and potatoes, 10 euros for raw or claimed pasta, they remade it every year, the raw pasta was always not edible, I paid and left, I don't recommend it to everyone.

04/05/2025: Very good Italian restaurant. The pizzas are delicious; the pasta is perfect. There are also other dishes to discover. We have been to this establishment several times and have never been disappointed! The staff is very helpful and always smiling. We feel good at Pummarulella! We highly recommend.

24/05/2025: Slow unattentive service and pasta below average. Had spaghetti alle vongole and it was just plain tasteless pasta with some clams.

15/05/2025: 3 of us dined here on our last night in Amalfi 13 May 25. The food was the best we had all week, we wished we would have gone here before as we would have returned. We had 1/2 lt white wine, 1/4 lt red wine, taglietteli bolognese, gnocchi and the third meal was a vegetable pasta dish. It was delicious. We also ordered a mixed salad and grilled vegetables. They provided bread which was so fresh and delicious. The meal was 84 euros which was the cheapest all week. It is at the top of the main street but well worth it. The service was brilliant and the staff were so pleasant.

04/06/2025: Everything is perfect but a Michelin star like Bikini that inside is still old and not valued enough with cherry wood windows and worn glass is really a shame. As for the flavors of the food it is uniquely good as is the skill and professionalism of the staff that works

02/06/2025: I went for lunch today, nothing to say about the food, perfect, fresh, good, crunchy, tasty. But..... we arrived at 2pm, 10 people, we certainly ate very well: appetizers, first courses, second courses, but everything one after the other, without a break......at 4pm they started to make us understand that we had to leave....there was no fruit, they didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert....everything too rushed. They started to clear the other tables....For goodness sake, the food was excellent....but....give us time to eat and digest.....I definitely won't go back

17/05/2025: We were here for the second time and they once again delighted us with excellently cooked dishes. Simple, clean and well-kept environment. Courteous and fast service. Dishes mainly based on stockfish and cod, cooked in different ways. Prices more than good for the quality and care in cooking they offer, everything was good. The pastiera with Vesuvius apricots is superb! Don't expect a chic or luxurious restaurant, here you will only find excellent food! I used the bathroom and found excellent cleanliness and hygiene. I recommend booking at least 1 or 2 days in advance. There is no real parking but the area allows you to leave your car in the immediate vicinity on the street.

01/05/2025: We had a truly wonderful and intimate dinner and wine tasting with Marco at this lovely town place restaurant in Down town Sorrento. Angelo, next door at the pizzeria, was a lovely waiter.

25/04/2025: My partner and myself enjoyed a lovely meal here when we visited Sorrento a couple weeks back. I had a freshly made pizza which was delicious and my partner enjoyed a really tasty pasta dish. All in all we had a very pleasant experience and I would definitely come back here again if we were ever lucky enough to be visiting that part of Italy again. Thank you

17/04/2025: I have been frequenting this place for years now and the quality of the products and dishes is always high. It feels like being at home, with family, in maximum relaxation. I would then add the kindness of the property and all the staff. Recommended for all those who wish to immerse themselves in an experience of the Campania culinary tradition.
