Beyond the stunning setting, they make wood-fired pizza that rivals Neapolitan pizza in every way. The fried fish was also excellent, paired with a recommended wine that made our evening even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the owner, Roberto, and his wife took great care of us throughout the dinner. I recommend all foodies to stop by Il Pirata.

The owner and the entire team are incredibly welcoming, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the location is perfect. You can also eat outside, accompanied by the sound of the sea. Highly recommended!

A special thanks also to Angela, kind and attentive, who made the evening even more enjoyable. A place where you feel welcomed right at home, with excellent cuisine and a warm, family atmosphere. 08/05/2026: The place is wonderful, nothing to say, the thing that disappointed me most was what they brought: for 2 of us, we asked for 2 fish appetizers and a first course, paccheri with swordfish, as appetizers they brought us practically nothing, it was a taste of 6 courses, of all of them, there was nothing raw... Of course the quality was there, but we were left starving and we spent €65 for nothing... In fact, afterward we went to eat a sandwich... Total disappointment

11/07/2026: A beautiful veranda location on the beach. Service could be improved and poorly organized. The menu isn't very varied, and the pizza (I haven't tried the restaurant) is just okay, with few toppings and much too thin in the middle, becoming soggy. The beer and wine list is too generic.

09/07/2026: Last night we celebrated my boyfriend's graduation. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the courtesy of both the owners and the waiter who served us (whose name, unfortunately, we don't know). We'll definitely be back to celebrate other occasions too ☺️

24/05/2026: My wife and I were occasionally passing through Belvedere, where we were staying overnight, and the B&B host recommended this restaurant. It was 10:30 PM on a midweek evening in April, so not a very busy time. Nevertheless, we received attentive and attentive service from kind people who were concerned about making us feel comfortable. The food was very good, honest, fresh, without gimmicks or deception. The seafood salad was very fresh, without vinegar (which usually serves to cover up imperfections), with an unmistakable seafood flavor, excellent. The tuna steak was very well cooked, all washed down with an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Calypso is one of those rare places where you find meaning among the people who work there, the pride and self-esteem in wanting to offer something good. We returned the next day, bringing friends with us and also trying the first courses... everything was very good! Well done!!

19/05/2026: I'm only reviewing the restaurant. It's actually the only one in the area open during the day. The pizzas are freshly made, delicious, and the service is friendly. The place is quiet, even though it's on the road.
