09/08/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because of the very friendly owner and everything I've tried in two consecutive nights going for dinner. I'd say it's the best place for good, quality food within a mile radius. It's worth getting in the car and trying it out.

06/11/2025: We found this restaurant open after a stroll around Scilla. In the off-season, there are few tourists and therefore few restaurants open. We were so glad we found this one! The focaccia was excellent, the pizzas were good (though there are much better ones elsewhere), and the price was unbeatable: we highly recommend it!

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, my expectations were disappointed. A €13.00 platter with four slices of cured meats; fried prawns and calamai for €20 for a total of six pieces, three prawns and two rounds... I don't recommend it.

14/10/2025: I visited this restaurant, the location is great, the staff is helpful and friendly. The food is a bit salty for me, I didn't get the taste I expect in a restaurant, and the price is a bit too high for the taste.

12/10/2025: Very poor dishes; paying 28 euros for 40 grams of spaghetti with lobster is really a lot!! The appetizer was very simple and disappointing.

26/11/2025: This restaurant is located in the beautiful Catanzaro Lido in an alley near the seafront. The environment is small, well-kept but very easy. I ordered excellent spaghetti al pastore, a dish similar to cacio e pepe. The Angus steak was good but it wasn't very tender. The dessert was good but it wasn't homemade. The service was fast and accurate. I recommend it!

25/11/2025: How could I have avoided writing a positive review for this establishment? Not being from the area, but from Syracuse, and celebrating my son's graduation, I visited the website, which alerted me to the location. We made no mistake in our choice, especially and importantly, for the authentic and abundant dishes; from the many hot and cold appetizers, to the delicious first course, the authentic second course, and the delicious tiramisu. Topping it all off was the kindness of all the staff and the owner, Pasquale, who after a few minutes of conversation seemed like an old friend. Best wishes to you all for your business, and I promise myself that if I ever find myself in the Catanzaro area, I'll know where to go for lunch. Giuseppe

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.

18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.

20/10/2025: A Sunday family experience. Agriturismo Le Muraglie (Czech Republic) in the mountains. We ate divinely, to say the least. Excellent quality throughout. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it because it's truly worth it. Located in a peaceful and quiet spot. The place is perfect for my Sundays...call to book. We're already planning another Sunday there.
