08/05/2026: The place is wonderful, nothing to say, the thing that disappointed me most was what they brought: for 2 of us, we asked for 2 fish appetizers and a first course, paccheri with swordfish, as appetizers they brought us practically nothing, it was a taste of 6 courses, of all of them, there was nothing raw... Of course the quality was there, but we were left starving and we spent €65 for nothing... In fact, afterward we went to eat a sandwich... Total disappointment

14/08/2026: As a child, I attended weddings, baptisms, and communions... I was delighted to find a renovated, youthful venue, bright both day and night. They have a gluten-free option, but they don't list ingredients for those with allergies. The fries are good, the pizza dough is good, and the ingredients are average. The staff is kind and courteous.

03/08/2026: During my stay in Bova at the B&B "L a Rotonda," the very kind owner recommended this restaurant in the heart of Bova. It was a wonderful choice: the traditional food was delicious, and the value was unmatched. Not to mention the owner's warm welcome, who guided us through the selection of dishes, for an experience of discovering typical Calabrian flavors. I absolutely recommend it.

08/08/2026: One of the worst service experiences I've ever had. It took 40 minutes to order our drinks. We had to call the waiter for everything; he didn't come to our table even once. We had to ask for the same thing several times before they brought it. And it wasn't because the place was too crowded. The food was fine, the meat envoltini were delicious. But the service was so bad that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They overcharged us (it wasn't for cutlery or anything, they just charged us more).

18/07/2026: Decent place, very slow service, extremely uncomfortable chairs, phone number disconnected due to lack of WiFi, the charcuterie board made with pieces of prosciutto cut close to the bone, bland pizza, dry swordfish meatballs. Very expensive for what we ate. Highly not recommended.

05/08/2026: It's a restaurant where experience and taste reign supreme. One thing amazed me: in a restaurant like this, I'd left my cutlery on the appetizer plate, and the waitress kindly removed it and placed it on the table so I could use it again for the first course. Perhaps these are things they don't do even in the most remote trattorias anymore.

17/05/2026: We were there for dinner, so there's no room review 😁 The food was delicious, the seafood pizza was very good, and the pasta was also good. The nonno pizza was good, the carbonara pasta was spicy, and the egg was a bit too hard, but it all went together well.

11/08/2026: A very welcoming environment surrounded by greenery, the staff is always attentive to your every need, and the service is excellent, not to mention the owner, Gianni, who greets everyone as he goes around the tables. As for the food, what can I say? Fresh ingredients, carefully prepared, especially the fish. The pizzas are excellent, among the best I've ever eaten. I recommend anyone who hasn't been there yet to check them out.

22/07/2026: I'm in Siderno for work. I asked a local friend where to go for dinner, and he recommended "PIATTO MATTO." I can't give it ten stars, otherwise I would. The owner is a delightful, disarmingly kind person, the wait staff is top-notch, and the cuisine is impeccable. I recommend "PIATTO MATTO" to anyone looking for a carefree, relaxing evening, but above all, enjoying excellent cuisine. NB: Spaghetti alla corte d'assise is addictive.

09/08/2026: We've eaten there a couple of times, and I have to say everything is consistently good and of high quality. Simple cuisine. The owner, Daniela, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and very professional. This restaurant is on the Belvedere seafront. It never disappoints.

09/08/2026: The food was good, and the service was good, too, at least until we were served a dish with bitter clams and a decidedly unpleasant smell. We immediately reported the problem and asked for an explanation. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we went to the cashier to pay the bill, once again explaining what had happened: no explanation, no interest, no apology. And we're talking about shellfish, so it was a situation that deserved much more attention. I should point out that we weren't looking for a discount or to be offered anything: the dish was paid in full. But explanations, yes, would have been the bare minimum. An inconvenience can happen in any restaurant; it's how it's handled that makes the difference. In this case, unfortunately, management was completely absent.

01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!
