08/07/2026: We dined at this restaurant, which enjoys an enviable location with tables set on a terrace overlooking the sea. Beyond the stunning setting, they make wood-fired pizza that rivals Neapolitan pizza in every way. The fried fish was also excellent, paired with a recommended wine that made our evening even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the owner, Roberto, and his wife took great care of us throughout the dinner. I recommend all foodies to stop by Il Pirata.
01/07/2026: We had the pleasure of eating here for lunch and, so pleased with the food and atmosphere, we returned in the evening! The owner and the entire team are incredibly welcoming, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the location is perfect. You can also eat outside, accompanied by the sound of the sea. Highly recommended!

11/07/2026: A beautiful veranda location on the beach. Service could be improved and poorly organized. The menu isn't very varied, and the pizza (I haven't tried the restaurant) is just okay, with few toppings and much too thin in the middle, becoming soggy. The beer and wine list is too generic.
09/07/2026: Last night we celebrated my boyfriend's graduation. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the courtesy of both the owners and the waiter who served us (whose name, unfortunately, we don't know).
We'll definitely be back to celebrate other occasions too ☺️

07/02/2026: We came here with the intention of eating pasta alla corte d'Assise. We weren't disappointed at all, on the contrary!!
The pasta dish was delicious, balanced, and plentiful, but I assure you, you'll eat it all because it's truly delicious.
Highly recommended.

27/05/2026: Excellent dinner. As for the raw fish, all the fish was very fresh. The main course was very good and plentiful. The small welcome appetizer and the sorbet between courses were appreciated. Attentive service, friendly and pleasant staff.
13/04/2026: Everyone tempted by the “Michelin” label — there’s nothing remotely Michelin about this place. It used to be outright fraud: no menu, wine pushed on you (naturally the most expensive), no prices listed anywhere, and the result is a shockingly high bill. Judging by the reviews, not much has changed — as the saying goes, you can’t teach an old clown new tricks.
To anyone willing to take the risk, I strongly recommend that if there’s no menu, you should get up and leave immediately — exactly what I did at the time, along with many other “lucky” guests. This advice applies to all other establishments in Italy as well.
Better yet, just don’t go at all. There are plenty of good restaurants around — ask the locals.

13/05/2026: Stunning location, with a breathtaking view of Scilla at dusk. Friendly and fast service. Excellent food, very fresh fish, I especially enjoyed the swordfish. Good wine. Reasonable price.
08/05/2026: The place is wonderful, nothing to say, the thing that disappointed me most was what they brought: for 2 of us, we asked for 2 fish appetizers and a first course, paccheri with swordfish, as appetizers they brought us practically nothing, it was a taste of 6 courses, of all of them, there was nothing raw... Of course the quality was there, but we were left starving and we spent €65 for nothing... In fact, afterward we went to eat a sandwich... Total disappointment

22/04/2026: It's been years since I've eaten such a tender and flavorful fillet. When they brought my plate, I could smell the intense aroma of grilled meat. Overall, the ingredients seem excellent quality, the service is quick and courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a rustic touch.
