19/07/2025: Oggi 19 luglio ci siamo fermati a pranzo su consiglio di un caro amico Reggino e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene, l'antipasto della suocera con tanti prodotti di terra reggini buonissimo. Il personale presente con cortesie e premure e buoni consigli senza essere invadenti. Torneremo ancora bravi!!!!

09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.

07/08/2025: Un luogo sul mare dove il buon cibo e la locazione coadiuvato da un ottimo servizio sempre discreto ma presente hanno reso un anniversario una bella serata. I piatti (tra primi e secondi) confermano la qualità e la passione che i proprietari mettono nell attività. Complimenti torneremo alla prossima ricorrenza. 20/07/2025: Hello, my husband and I stayed from 18th to 20th July to celebrate our anniversary. I recommend it to everyone, from the overnight stay to the cuisine of the adjacent restaurant. Try it and believe it. Bye.

23/06/2025: This place is a fairy tale! We stayed overnight, the room is fresh, spacious and clean, very comfortable mattress and orthopedic pillow, fresh bed linen, a stunning view from the small window! The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator and a kettle (but no glasses or mugs). In the morning, a hearty and delicious breakfast awaited us on a beautiful terrace. The place is incredible! My recommendation!

03/05/2025: Una vera scoperta! Alla Buca del Re si mangia benissimo: piatti gustosi, porzioni generose e ingredienti di qualità. Il titolare è simpaticissimo, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Siamo andati con un gruppo di amici e siamo rimasti tutti super soddisfatti. Torneremo sicuramente!

22/07/2025: This seafood restaurant was an absolute highlight of our trip. The waiter brought us a selection of freshly caught fish to choose from and we picked the Pagello Fragolino and wow, it was without a doubt the best fish I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, tender and bursting with flavour, it was simply unforgettable. The Tropea salad was the perfect side, fresh and beautifully balanced, and the local wine they served, made especially for this place, was outstanding. The prices felt completely fair for the quality. The chef even came out to check if everything was perfect and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. If you are a fan of fish this place is an absolute must.

21/07/2025: Amazing octopus 🐙 we had, all food what we served 😋 was DELICIOUS 😋.. Very calm atmosphere and good caring staff ,is a pleasure to back here. Even if you order fish they bring you a plate and show you wich one will be cooked 🍳 for you ,,is Amazing 👏 🤩. Highly recommended 👌

Everything was excellent, from the food, to the welcome, to the impeccable table service, to the atmosphere. The open kitchen is a rarity. Dishes prepared with absolute mastery and served with equal care and attention. Ideal value for money. WE WILL BE BACK SOON Congratulations 💯👏🏼

20/04/2025: Palazzo, very well located, enchanting setting, small downside, a great lunch was announced, it was a coffee croissant in the village bar.... the only accommodation on our trip where the nescafé replaced the capsule coffee machine and the small bottles of water had to be paid for... too bad.

16/07/2025: I gave it 3 stars to be polite, but from the rude response, I can tell we ate a very ordinary slice of meat you'd easily eat at home. Our expectations were more promising than reality. We ordered two Argentine Angus entrecotes, which were good but nothing special; you couldn't even taste the grilled meat. A bit disappointed; with two portions of potatoes and two Cokes, it came to €65 in total.

L'ambiente piccolo ed accogliente ci ha fatto sentire a casa, così come l'ottimo cibo mangiato! Francesco, il titolare, ci ha accolti come persone di famiglia. Lo consigliamo! 24/07/2025: Davvero un posto in cui c'è onestà sia nei prezzi che nelle quantità delle portate, peraltro molto buone. I camerieri sono gentilissimi; il servizio è veloce. Consigliato.
