14/07/2026: Everything was excellent: the welcome, the service, the location, and especially the food! The dishes truly smell of the sea and fresh fish. After three days of disappointing restaurants with seafood dishes that had neither the aroma nor the flavor of fish, they finally recommended this restaurant to me, and it was a sublime experience, from the eyes to the palate and the nose. I'll be back! Definitely! Highly recommended.

18/07/2026: We chose Castello Federiciano in Roseto Capo Spulico to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our children, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The location is simply enchanting: dining in a castle overlooking the sea, with such a breathtaking view, makes every moment truly special. The service was impeccable, with extremely courteous, professional, and attentive staff, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. The cuisine lived up to the splendid setting: carefully crafted dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors that elegantly showcased the local area. Even our children were welcomed with great kindness, helping to make the evening enjoyable for the whole family. It was an evening we will cherish forever, filled with excellent food, a romantic atmosphere, and authentic hospitality. Making the experience even more special was the castle tour, which we had the pleasure of taking with our children: a fascinating journey through history, culture, and breathtaking views that captivated both adults and children. A place we recommend without hesitation to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely be back.

01/11/2025: Very cute restaurant! I went twice and sat on the terrace. I had a pizza and the other day the filej pasta with cipolla rossa and caponata tropeana. Everything was delicious and service was excellent, she even remembered my special dietary requirements from the time before.

23/07/2026: Excellent service despite the late hour. I had the vegetarian appetizer and the Calabrian sausages. They were truly delicious. But the mbacchiuse potatoes truly stayed with me. Coffee and Amaro del Capo to finish. The staff were kind and friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with them, especially the brunette. If I ever pass through Cosenza again, I'll definitely be back. 24/03/2026: Tropea, Lido Costa degli Dei, "Coast of the Gods" is a very nice small town beach. It has a beautiful sandy beach, located at the foot of the sanctuary of Santa Maria Dell Isola, a great place for a cloudless and sunny holiday.

We were looked after by Giuseppe, a courteous and helpful young man who made us feel at ease and offered excellent recommendations. Highly recommended.

02/08/2026: I think it's a must for anyone visiting beautiful Soverato. The place is familiar and welcoming, as is the entire Salerno family, who with love, kindness, and expertise prepare stellar, absolutely fresh food, accompanied by consistently delicious drinks and service that makes you feel loved and pampered, and that also provides plenty of laughter with great music. In a word: you'll enjoy yourself! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

30/07/2026: The food was good, but unfortunately, in the linguine with mussels and clams, all the mussels had their shells uncleaned. For the price, I'd expect to find well-cleaned shells, both for hygiene reasons and because I was a bit disgusted by the sight of them. The sauce also had a grainy taste, like chopped nuts. I wasn't sure what it was, especially since it wasn't listed among the ingredients on the menu, but the flavor was still very good. Unfortunately, the worst part was the calamari skewers (off the menu), one of which was partially raw. Although I reported this to the waitress, they only apologized and offered us a house limoncello/bergamot, but at €16 for the two skewers, we paid the full price. They could have just discounted the cover charge, but it doesn't matter. I'm disappointed because it's clear the chef is skilled, but for the price, I expect a little more attention to detail in the dishes and in the way they treat the customers. The young man who served us, however, was very kind.

24/06/2026: An amazing place with breathtaking mountain views. The scenery alone is worth the visit, creating a truly special atmosphere. We ordered the mixed grill, and it exceeded our expectations – the meat was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and of outstanding quality. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into every dish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the quality was top-notch. Friendly service, authentic local cuisine, and unforgettable views make this a place we would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: The restaurant is at the end of restaurant raw. Sea terrace with tables with white cover. Staff is kind and professional. The place is not busy and crowded. Half lobster with pasta is 25. euros. In the entire area is very difficult to find parking spot. Above the restaurant there is private parking.

24/07/2026: The view here is stunning — genuinely one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, the service really let it down. Our server was noticeably curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. On top of that, my dish wasn’t available, so she suggested a pricier alternative without mentioning it cost double, and we were told (incorrectly) that they don’t accept Amex, even though the machine was right there. A gorgeous setting, but the service made it hard to enjoy.

16/05/2026: We ate really good food, the kitchen is run by elderly people who have a culture of food and quality products that are prepared almost by themselves. In short, we ate well, thanks for the advice, a hug.

10/05/2026: An unfortunate evening choosing this place that night. The service was pretty bad. It was difficult to get a waiters attention and when we did it was just a very unmotivated attitude. For example, we ordered a bottle of wine where the waiter first didn't seem to know their own wine menu and then eventually just plopped a bottle on the table. We had to check ourselves if it was still good and then pour for everyone, plus ask extra for a cooler for the bottle. And if you think they were busy that night, quite the opposite, as they were maybe one third occupied. The food also wasn't great, the starters were average at best, missing a lemon slice. I ordered the baked fish as my main. Potatoes over and undercooked at the same time somehow, the fish itself needed salt, but by the time a waiter reacted I was already done as the portion was pretty small. I also found bones, so don't trust them cleaning it for you table side. The only good thing I can say is that everything was fresh and my partner seemed to like the grilled mixed plate. They did comp us a few things at the end, but this was most likely because I was there with locals. Don't expect any such courtesy as a tourist.
