31/08/2025: A place that can serve Neapolitan pizzas, thinner and crispier Cosenza-style pizzas, or even Roman pinsas. Too bad they forgot to ask our preferences when we ordered. I assumed the default was Neapolitan, and... you can imagine my disappointment when I saw the crispy one arrive! To my hesitant complaints, they simply replied, "What's the problem? We'll make it again!" Correct answer! And the pizza was delicious. One of the few times the crust wasn't left on the plate. I always say that pizza is judged the next day: not only is it good, but it's also easy to digest! The outdoor seating area suffers a bit due to being so close to the road.

09/09/2025: We enjoyed going to this restaurant every evening! The service is excellent, everyone is incredibly friendly – ​​even one waiter speaks German. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the prices are fair. We tried almost the entire menu, and everything was consistently delicious. We particularly recommend the Farfalline al Salmone (pasta with salmon) and, as a highlight, the Monacelle, which is served on the house as a small appetizer – an absolute delight! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the restaurant.

18/08/2025: Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: I planned an afternoon in Pizzo (a very pretty town) and after careful research on restaurants, I decided to book at "La Ruota." It was a perfect choice. The location gets top marks—very beautiful, unique, and welcoming. The food was delicious. We ordered the "La Ruota" appetizer, tagliatelle with pistachio pesto and shrimp, and fried calamari. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

24/07/2025: Trovato grazie a questa App non è semplicissimo da raggiungere anche se, fortunatamente, lungo la strada ci sono delle indicazioni proprietarie. Bravi i ragazzi che lo gestiscono, gentili ed accoglienti. Ero l’unico commensale vista la caldissima giornata afosa ma ho potuto pranzare senza problemi. Ottimo il cibo, pochi piatti, ciò che ho provato molto buono, ottimo il pane. Prezzi corretti.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

16/09/2025: I was here with my family in early September and I have to say it was a fantastic lunch. The location is beautiful, as is the restaurant: blue colors like the sea in front, spectacular view, very romantic. Of course, the service was very kind, attentive, and clean, but the highlight was the food, from the lobster linguine to the amazing tuna tartare and the calamari. The terrace was beautiful, and I'll be back for the sunset soon. Good luck! 🍷

13/09/2025: 5 stars are truly too few for the experience we had at this place!! In addition to writing how great I had it, I'll let the photos do the talking. I found this place online, so I based my review on it. The waiters were truly kind and very knowledgeable. The dishes were beautifully presented (even the eye deserves its share). An explosion of flavors, everything was delicious, every dish was beautifully presented. We were pampered from the door to the door. I recommend it with a double thumbs-up.
