04/04/2025: Personale gentile. Servizio rapido, nonostante l'affollamento della serata. Piatti, bicchieri e posate puliti. Cibo buono e di buona qualità. Non conoscevo questa pizzeria che si è rivelata una gradevole sorpresa che terrò presente anche per il futuro.

25/05/2025: dalle recensioni che avevamo letto di sicuro nn ci aspettavamo di mangiare male, ma ha superato le aspettative! accoglienza cordiale, simpatica del titolare credo , ci siamo fatti guidare e consigliare, al meglio! inoltre tra i pochi posti a nn chiedere la recensione, ma nn puoi nin farla per il servizio ricevuto!!! ritorneremo !!!

14/05/2025: Entramos en Hipocampo fuera de la calle sin saber qué esperar. Primero pedí una cerveza. Era de una cervecería local y posiblemente la mejor cerveza que he probado. Como no hablamos italiano el dueño (supongo) recomendó algunos platos y seguimos sus recomendaciones. Qué experiencia maravillosa. Absolutamente increíble comida. . . . la presentación, la preparación y la calidad y frescura de la comida era de primera clase. El propietario era un tipo amable, sonriente, impecablemente educado. Qué noche tan encantadora. Lo mejor hasta ahora en nuestro viaje por Calabria.

20/05/2025: We were disappointed after reading the positive reviews. The greeting was not friendly, we were sat on a small table in the corner both looking at a wall. The rest of the restaurant was virtually empty but set out with larger tables. Service was unprofessional and surly. There was no explanation of the menu, and we were asked did we want the pizzeria or restaurant menu - why did we have to choose one or the other? The decor is very hard and brightly lit. The sound is echoing and we heard every word of a conversation at the other side of the room. The staff are unfriendly and don’t smile. My crab pasta was full of whole small crabs, which were inedible. My partner enjoyed his mussels and clams. Overall there was little atmosphere, the staff in the kitchen paid no notice to the customers, they were watching a screen on the pass, and let two young inexperienced individuals struggle. The food was not enjoyable. I told the waiter I wasn’t enjoying it but he just shrugged and walked away. The owners need to consider the customer experience from greeting, ambience, service and food. Edit: The rant below from the owner demonstrates how willing he is to take on feedback. Restaurants are facing tough times and need to take on feedback from customers, not berate them publicly for taking the time to make useful comments. Never mind, there are plenty of lovely restaurants in Tropea.

20/05/2025: I ordered the catch of the day, and it was just as good as I hoped—fresh and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. The only thing missing was some background music to set the mood. Otherwise, everything was spot on!

27/05/2025: A place that doesn't need reviews or anything else. Fratelli la bufala are, excuse the pun, anything but a hoax, but a solid reality where you can eat well both pizzeria and restaurant. Don't trust me...trust yourselves. Enjoy your meal

04/06/2025: Ogni volta che arrivo a San Nicola Arcella sia per le vacanze o per un fine settimana faccio tappa sempre al ristorante San Giorgio, per pranzare, cenare o solo per una pizza. Comunque consiglio questo ristorante per il cibo, la disponibilità del personale e la possibilità di gustare i piatti in una grande sala o in terrazza.

13/04/2025: Posto molto carino, sala in legno, eccellente variazione e scelta di vini Birre artigianali Cibo molto buono e di qualità da scegliere tra pizzeria,panini e e cibi di carne da scegliere come secondo o contorno Personale accogliente e simpatico, ottimo anche il cameriere nello spiegare le birre e le tipologie Aspetti a mio parere da migliorare: Le SEDIE (un po scomode e senza schienale, difficile starci piu di 2 ore) L'ATTRAZIONE ( si e tutto molto bello e buono ma ci potrebbe essere un po di intrattenimento un po di karaoke o un'artista che suona e canta in sottofondo) L'ACUSTICA ( si sentono molto le urla delle persone di fianco ma su questo non possiamo fare niente) IL SERVIZIO ( Si e tutto molto buono, pero ahimè si aspetta davvero tanto, quindi un cameriere extra nelle serate del weekend e essenziale per dare un servizio piu rapido e con la scusa riempire il tavolo di clienti diversi piu volte in una singola sera) IL PREZZO è molto buono e onesto, alcune pietanze hanno un paio d'euro in piu di troppo ma nulla di preoccupante TUTTO SOMMATO ABBIAMO PASSATO UNA BELLISSIMA SERATA CON CIBO DI QUALITÀ E SIAMO STATI BENE CONSIGLIATO PER TUTTE LE ETÀ... GRAZIE

11/05/2025: I always return with pleasure to places where the food is good and where hospitality, combined with the extreme education and professionalism of all the staff, becomes a primary element. Well, Festopoli has always maintained the same positive characteristics that have characterized this place since its inception. The raw materials used for the preparation of the dishes are of the highest quality, as is the case for the wines and any other drink that you want to associate with food. Children can finally play and enjoy a myriad of delicacies. In the end everything is true jubilation.

01/05/2025: Sempre tutto ottimo. I piatti vengono cucinati al momento come se si fosse a casa. Personale gentile, sollecito ed accogliente. Ci vengo da 20 anni con un intervallo di 6 anni. Temevo che fosse cambiato la qualità. Invece è sempre uguale. Si mangia benissimo. Le tradizioni vengono rispettate.
