20/01/2026: I went alone on Saturday and paid 70 euros. The food was good, except for the mussels, which were of two different types, skillfully mixed. I even told the owners this. But I don't recommend it.

17/01/2026: I am the owner of the lands of Viacsiroli and Gaspare del Fosdo, by acceptance of the heirs of my aunt Maria Luigia Ripepi, through the court and the public will of my great-grandfather Giovanni, son of Bruno Ripepi. The building estate is in the hands of Prof. Maria Valgo.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

We enjoyed lunch with the freshest ingredients, from their own cured meats to homemade pasta dishes that taste like tradition. You can taste the love for the land in every dish. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is ideal for those who want to unwind and pamper their palate. We'll definitely be back! The locals are incredibly hospitable and kind. 28/09/2025: Agriturismo Il Cicerone is a fantastic place, as is the staff: humble and friendly people who immediately put you at ease. The food is extraordinary, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the excellently cooked grilled meats. The homemade cured meats, besides being delicious, brought back memories of the unique flavors of yesteryear. Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on everything.

07/12/2025: Mr. Condoluci, I'm not used to responding to keyboard warriors, as you can see from my history. I'd simply like to explain to you that the decision to serve an aperitif/appetizer at the buffet isn't always tied to the restaurant, but to agreements made with the bride and groom. In any case, plates, cutlery, and bread are generally placed at the entrance to every buffet. If, during a lunch/dinner—where diners nowadays enjoy several dishes each—the station is left uncovered for a few minutes, you should know that the service is possible thanks to human staff, not robots. So, the attitude of a polite person like yourself would be to inform the Maître d'Hôtel or any waiter, who I can promptly assure you will resolve your issue. But honestly, criticizing a wedding service to the point of not recommending it seems excessive to me. Remember, these are jobs that are most often handled with extra, therefore non-regular, staff, which can easily lead to trivial distractions. In the next review, please advise us to pay a little more attention ⚠️ to these things, but not to so strongly discourage a restaurant that has been successfully serving many ceremonies for years. The good thing about Ristorante San Michele is that we were born restaurateurs, not made over time—this is what makes this place stand out! 15/03/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. It's practically impossible to book a table because they always say it's full. I even tried calling to inquire, but the response was extremely rude: I was quickly told there was no room and then hung up on me without even letting me speak. I understand that a place can be busy, but customer service should be paramount. Such poor service leaves a really bad impression.

04/03/2026: At the recommendation of a colleague, I tried this restaurant located near the hospital in Cosenza, and was immediately impressed by its size, as I counted numerous seats spread across tables suitable for large groups, not just individuals. The restaurant is beautifully presented, with attention to detail and an authentic feel. Here you can eat excellent meat (including prime cuts), as well as pizza, fish (fresh), sandwiches—basically, anything you're craving. I had an excellent tuna steak. My only concern is the prices, which in my opinion are a bit too high despite the quality of the food and the excellent service and courtesy of the staff. Next time, I'll try the meat.

05/01/2026: The restaurant is well-maintained, both inside and out. The interior is intimate and comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a quiet meal. The ingredients are undeniably high-quality and very well-prepared. The menu offers a wide range of options for every need and is very well-structured. The staff is undeniably knowledgeable, but in my opinion, a bit too customer-focused. I was also very impressed with the quality-price ratio, which was likely partly due to the month of my visit, which was in the dead of winter. A must-try. I highly recommend it.

03/01/2026: Fantastic seafood restaurant in the heart of Pizzo. We started with a fragrant peppered mussel stew, perfectly flavorful. The shrimp tartare was incredibly fresh, delicate, and meticulously prepared. The spaghetti with clams was simply spectacular: creamy, balanced, and made with a lot of bread. And then the fried fish... incredible: dry, light, crispy, with top-quality fish. An experience that smells of the sea and passion. Definitely worth returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

29/01/2026: We stumbled upon this pizza restaurant by chance and decided to stop and try it, given the numerous reviews. The place is very large and crowded, but despite everything, they seated us in just a few seconds, so the welcome was excellent. Let's just say it's a meeting place for truck drivers, primarily, or people on their lunch break. But let's talk about what we ate. The portions were certainly generous, enough to make many people's mouths water, but often, abundance doesn't mean goodness. In fact, I have to give the first courses a five because (and I'm talking about what we tried) they were flavorless and not of sufficient quality to be memorable. I give the second courses a 7; yes, I'm going out on a limb here because I was very satisfied. For better or worse, you still leave feeling quite full. Quick service, a 7 Cleanliness: a 6 Bathrooms: wheelchair accessible, acceptable cleanliness. Ample parking. The place is wheelchair accessible. Bill: low prices Would I recommend going? If you don't want to spend a lot and can handle the TRUCK-SIZED menu and portions, then please feel free to come.

09/12/2025: We went there on December 8th for lunch, after visiting the village of Bova. It's a simple place, but it serves carefully prepared local specialties. We had a complete antipasto, which we were advised to share between two because it was quite generous, and we did. It included a selection of cured meats, cheeses, 'nduja, and various small hot appetizers. Everything was delicious. Then we had homemade pasta with sausage and mushrooms, mixed grill, and roast goat. We also enjoyed a jujube tart, coffee and liqueurs, house wine, and water. We loved everything and spent €68. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely return here.

22/09/2025: We went on a Saturday evening. It's a true, traditional trattoria, simple, and has the atmosphere of old-fashioned eateries. The host is extremely kind and helpful. The mixed antipasto, fusilli all'aietana, and grilled veal steak with eggplant and mushrooms were all excellent and the portions generous. The prices were more than fair. It was a pleasure dining here.

05/10/2025: A renowned beach club in Villapiana. Even though it's the end of the season (only one row of umbrellas left and many of the facilities have been removed), I noticed the owners' friendly attitude and great courtesy. The beach club is a bit dated but welcoming. Everything about the beach and sea is fine. Worth a visit.
