We are a retired couple on a five-month tour of Italy, and this is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at so far. Many thanks ♥️ to the family and team at Pizzeria "da Mario".
03/11/2025: We enjoyed an excellent pizza, both the dough and the toppings were delicious! Recommended. We paid €36 per person, but we also ordered the famous Pizzo Tartufo.

The pasta dish was delicious, balanced, and plentiful, but I assure you, you'll eat it all because it's truly delicious.

06/03/2026: I went with friends in mid-February and we had a great time. The food never disappoints. The options are always good and plentiful. The wine is pleasant. But above all, we love the atmosphere: pleasant and welcoming, it encourages conversation and well-being. The price is fair. I recommend it.
23/02/2026: Beautiful and fun Italian pub. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Anyone interested in eating here should just know that food takes some time (45 minutes) and that you may need to follow up with staff about details on your order or drinks. I would not arrive here starving! That being said, it's a gem of a spot with some really tasty and affordable food and drink. And excellent live music on weekends!

13/10/2025: What a wonderful stay with comfortable accommodations, fabulous staff and chef and lovely spot to enjoy incredible scenery!
16/09/2025: A beautiful B&B. But only for those who can climb stairs easily and have no problems. It's located in the center of town and only accessible on foot. Excellent breakfast, though the restaurant is closing in September. Fortunately, there are other restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended if you can walk well.

09/03/2026: What can I say...I feel at home at Calypso. It's a restaurant run by the wonderful Daniela and the great Stefano, who are very attentive to their customers' satisfaction. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is sublime. Every time I go, they always manage to amaze me. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping at Calypso for a wonderful culinary experience with a stunning view of the Belvedere Marittimo waterfront.
07/03/2026: Spectacular dinner!! The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection: you could really taste the hand of a chef who knows what he's doing. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service was attentive, fast, and always with a smile, which is no longer a given. We felt welcomed right at home. A special shout-out also goes to Stefano, a very kind and helpful person, who manages to create a truly pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. If you're in Belvedere Marittimo and want to eat fish prepared properly, this place is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

14/03/2026: I was here for the first time on Thursday.
My 20-month-old had a blast.
There's a special area for toddlers up to 36 months, full of games including a ball pit. Plus, he was able to go to the adults' area, accompanied by me, of course.
We also had dinner there, and the pizza was delicious, and my son loved the patatas mbacchiuse.
The staff were friendly, and the girls supervising the kids were super attentive.
What can I say... it was a wonderful afternoon and evening, and we'll definitely be back.

08/02/2026: We were at La Perla del Tirreno and had a truly excellent experience. Everything was delicious, from the freshest seafood dishes to the meticulous presentation. I truly appreciated the kindness of the owner and the maître d', who were always attentive and helpful.
A major plus: the owner immediately took steps to accommodate my husband, who has a fish allergy, by preparing a truly excellent slice of meat. Furthermore, the restaurant is well-equipped to accommodate celiacs, with great attention to detail and professionalism.
Fresh seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service, all overlooking the sea.
We'll definitely be back.
21/09/2025: The quality of the fish is excellent. The service is professional, and the location is beautiful. A good selection of dishes, 4/5 of each type, without those endlessly long tourist menus. Prices are in line with seaside seafood restaurants. Highly recommended... And then, in mid-September, with the beach half-empty and the sea in front... peace of mind.

Helpful and professional waiters, food in line with the offerings of many restaurants in Tropea, fair prices, and excellent quality.
09/11/2025: There were four of us. The restaurant is actually located in a courtyard surrounded by old houses (some with their laundry hanging out to dry). A street musician came by and stayed for a full 40 minutes, playing incredibly loudly so we couldn't have a proper conversation.
The service seemed to be competing with each other... even though we already had a waiter, the owner came by and started the entire order all over again... if only she had actually brought everything... The food was okay – not what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. And it was expensive enough for what it was.
So, not really...
