17/08/2025: I left a 5-star review a while back, but unfortunately I had to revise it. The food remains excellent, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. However, the service has significantly deteriorated: despite the price increase, customer service has declined. The waiters seem overwhelmed, often forgetting cutlery or failing to explain the dishes being served. Perhaps the restaurant welcomes more customers than it can properly handle. A real shame, because the food and the bill deserve a worthy experience.

09/08/2025: To be honest, the food didn't live up to expectations. Described as one of the best seafood restaurants in Roseto, it has lost much of its appeal over the years, both in terms of location and dishes. Nothing to complain about the service: impeccable. I wouldn't go back...

26/07/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante per 2 sere, la prima abbiamo iniziato con l'antipasto ma a causa dell'abbondanza e della qualità siamo riusciti ad assaggiare soltanto gli arrosticini ma la seconda abbiamo optato per i primi e secondi e debbo dire che la qualità della materia prima ci ha estasiato, il personale impeccabile e competente Alessandro con la sua simpatia e efficacia cià ha guidato per tutte due le serate da ripetere e lo consiglio

28/08/2025: The highlight of this place is undoubtedly its outdoor space: a large, well-kept, and bright garden, with well-spaced tables that ensure privacy and a pleasant atmosphere. The warm evening light and the children's play area with slides make it truly welcoming and ideal for families or those seeking tranquility. Regarding the food, however, I expected much more. The selection of typical Abruzzo dishes was limited: some classics like mugnaia and anellini alla pecorara were missing, which I consider essential and which I would have liked to have found. The appetizer wasn't particularly generous, and the pasta was too salty. Even the dessert, which I tried at the end of the meal, didn't leave any impression: nothing special, honestly. The service was adequate, with no particular negatives. It's a shame, because the outdoor setting and the silence make the place very pleasant, but the dining experience didn't live up to the expectations created by the aesthetics of the place. 26/08/2025: We went there for dinner and the location is beautiful, with a view of the sea, which is breathtaking at sunset. The typical Abruzzo dishes were really good, and the waiter even gave us excellent wine recommendations. I highly recommend going there.

01/09/2025: A delightful restaurant in Roccaraso...surrounded by greenery, quaint. We ate wonderfully, especially the game platter. The lamb chops were divine, cooked to perfection. The crema catalana was sublime. A wonderful experience...the staff were extremely kind, courteous, and attentive to everything. An experience to repeat...we'll bring this mountain memory back to our hometown of Bari.

08/09/2025: The staff was kind and courteous, providing impeccable service. Unfortunately, the menu didn't quite match the quality we expected. In particular, the dish described as "guitar allo scoglio" arrived as square spaghetti, which doesn't respect the traditional format. More clarity in the descriptions of the dishes would be helpful to avoid misunderstandings. A real shame, because the staff's courtesy deserves a higher rating.

25/07/2025: Abbiamo.mangiato bene. La cucina purtroppo manca di accostamenti originali rendendo ogni piatto privo di aromi e gusto. Resta comunque un buon ristorante e torneremo per assaporare qualcosa più sfiziosa

01/09/2025: The seafood is incredibly fresh! We had raw fish, seafood salad, calamari fried, seafood risotto and seafood linguine. Everything was excellent. If you're using Venere Beach club this is the restaurant to go to in the nearest vicinity.

26/08/2025: Honestly? I'm really struggling to find any constructive criticism to give here, so I won't. Great food, extremely honest pricing with an unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere, combined with lightning fast service from fun staff who bend over backwards to accommodate (and I'll elaborate here - our group of 12 with age ranges from 6 to their mid-80's are both fiercely critical and certainly not the easiest to please)... What else can I say? What a truly great place 'The Sheep on the Beach' is. I'll only add that the menu changes from seafood during the day to charcoal-grilled meat/pizza in the evenings, book in advance to guarantee a table and if you forget to finish off your meal with a barrel-aged grappa then you're missing out. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening, we all look forward to seeing you guys again soon!

28/08/2025: A very charming restaurant located in the historic center of Vasto, with very friendly staff and fairly fast service. We ate really well, trying the mixed appetizers (plentiful and well-made), the seafood first course (allo scoglio) was excellent, and another first course (alla salicornia e bottarga, fresh spaghetti with chili pepper) was equally excellent, although I would have preferred less salicornia. We also tried the mixed fried fish, which was definitely good. If I really had to make a comment, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the desserts. We tried three different ones, and while they were good, they were a bit too creamy. I think the brownie would have needed a scoop of ice cream (it's a must), as without it, it's a nice piece of chocolate. Overall, dessert aside, it was excellent and definitely worth a try. We'll be back.

07/09/2025: If I could, I'd give it more than 5 stars! We found Number 20 by chance while looking for somewhere to eat in Roccascalegna, and it was a pleasant surprise. The staff, their kindness, their attention to detail, and the deliciousness of every dish mean we'll be returning to Roccascalegna soon to eat here again, where we felt so pampered and at home. The food is exquisite, from appetizers to dessert—they never fail.

07/09/2025: We chose this place based on the reviews, and it was the best choice. We organized lunch for a group of 20 on the veranda overlooking the castle. Everything was perfect; the menu selection and the products offered were excellent. Among us was even a celiac who said the food was divine. The staff was super helpful with every request. We will definitely be back.
