01/06/2026: ⚠️2 or 5 Stars ⭐️… it depends on who's there. Villa Sant'Angelo is a truly beautiful property, nestled in a charming location, meticulously maintained, and instantly conveying a sense of peace. It's a true oasis, ideal for those seeking relaxation, good food, and a genuine welcome. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the day-to-day management is one of the property's true strengths. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Special thanks go to Federica, Giuseppe, and Joshua, whose professionalism, helpfulness, and attentiveness make guests feel welcomed and cared for. Overall, the entire staff is fantastic: polite, attentive, helpful, and always ready to find a solution. I must point out one important aspect, however: during my stay, I clearly felt that when the owners are present, the atmosphere changes significantly. Certain dynamics become less pleasant, the rules seem to change, and the overall experience risks significantly deteriorating. Personally, there were times when I seriously considered canceling my stay and never returning. I stayed mainly thanks to the quality of the management, especially Giuseppe and his family, who demonstrated great skill, poise, and attention to their guests. My advice is this: before booking, contact the property and find out if the owner will be present during your stay. When the property is entrusted to the operations staff (the manager), the experience can be truly wonderful. However, when the owners intervene directly, at least in my experience, the stay can be much less peaceful. In summary: wonderful location, excellent cuisine, clean rooms, excellent staff. The operations management truly deserves praise. The ownership, however, represents the property's main weakness, in my opinion.

17/05/2026: I went there by chance and was impressed to see a place where there is a restaurant, a swimming pool with plenty of space and stylish rooms with a beautiful, clean and really pleasant structure.

11/05/2026: I had lunch at Franco's and was very satisfied with the experience. The service was fast, friendly, and always attentive, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The food was truly excellent, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes; I particularly enjoyed the risotto, which was truly excellent. A special mention also goes to the quality of the olive oil on the table, which I personally always consider an important and not-so-obvious detail. Some of the ingredients used to enhance the dishes were also very well chosen, such as the pistachios in a cold appetizer, which added a truly pleasant touch of flavor and originality. A place I would gladly return to, perhaps to try the seafood aperitif, offered in three different versions. My only complaint is that the outdoor tables are located within the marina complex and not on the seafront, with a beautiful, picturesque view of the docked boats.

09/03/2026: A truly beautiful and welcoming place. I went to this restaurant on Saturday evening. I had high expectations, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the food: Abruzzo appetizers and meat, all very salty. There's no wine list, so when you order a bottle of wine, you don't know the price, and that's truly unthinkable. The staff were very friendly, except for the owner, who wasn't at all polite. The price was high for what we ate. I don't think I'll go back.

13/05/2026: Set lunch menu. The portions were truly meager, which is a shame because otherwise we had a great time.

06/04/2026: Good location (except for the lackluster bathroom facilities, from the faucet with a bad handle to the lack of soap and paper towels...even at 12:50 p.m.) I tried a first course, which was just okay, but I appreciated the al dente spaghetti. As a fan of mutton stew, I tried their version, which was mediocre, especially the potatoes, which were also eaten under the tile. It's a shame because this is an area with good potatoes. The good meats, however, help mitigate the otherwise less-than-favorable rating given the excessively high prices. As for the wines, the prices are high and the products are mediocre (especially the basic lines from the renowned wineries) with poor quality/price ratios. Three stars deserved, especially for the efficient service.

02/04/2026: Excellent and refined pizza as well as the meats and Ascoli olives. Punctual and friendly waiters.

17/04/2026: Clean place, rustic, medieval style... in short, immersed in nature and history. Wild boar, mutton, truffles, and mushrooms are a must-try on Abruzzo cuisine, and the chef knows how to combine all these ingredients well. We'll definitely be back.

04/05/2026: All dishes are made with typical local products. The place is quiet and the staff are very friendly. We had a great time. The view of the castle is also beautiful. We loved the "pizz' e foje" appetizer, which I recommend. The pasta alla chitarra was also delicious. The background music was also relaxing. Well done!

28/04/2026: Not your average seafood lunch, but much more. Appetizers and first courses are different from the norm, prepared with care and imagination for excellent results. Exquisite main courses and desserts. The atmosphere is superb, and the service is courteous and friendly. Impeccable!

26/10/2025: An ideal place for families and couples. First courses are the specialty, and the dessert menu is extensive and interesting. The restaurant's special ingredient: Centerba liqueur! A must-try! The staff is friendly, though often evasive when taking orders, but they do pay attention without too much of a wait. Recommended!
