27/06/2025: We loved this place, it has the best glutenfree pizza we ever tasted - our daughter has celiac and we felt very well taken care of. Very kind and good service and really good food even for someone who needs to eat glutenfree (which is not the norm). Look at the pictures, you can see that the pizza dough does not look like concrete like we often see elsewhere. Can fully recommend.

29/03/2025: Terrible service. Biblical expectations entered at 9.30pm, pizza received at 11.30pm. An abnormal amount of chips. I understand Saturday evenings but a much better organization would be needed compared to the previous management. Pizzas burnt all on the edges. I haven't been there since this summer but the problems are still there 🆘😪. I don't know, we'll see the bill soon 🤐🤐🤐

05/01/2025: We happened upon it by chance and also at the last moment but, we were welcomed and pampered until our departure, by Angelo (the owner) who showed us the beauties, the flavors and the history of his land. Splendid structure, convenient parking just outside the city but, we like it that way, excellent food in the restaurant/pizzeria with wood oven inside the structure, more comfortable than this 😋🤗

07/01/2025: Bellissimo pranzo, fuori stagione, con tutta la famiglia. Gestore molto simpatico e cordiale: cibo molto buono, curato e ben strutturato. Veramente sopra ogni aspettativa! Ci siamo divertiti, mangiato bene e bevuto pure. Consigliamo per un buon passaggio con ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo!

19/07/2025: Very busy in the middle of the day. It took over an hour to get our four pasta dishes and drinks, so you need to give yourself plenty of time. The food tasted good, but is also expensive.

21/07/2025: What can I say... finally medieval Gaeta has a place where you can eat well. A nice place, a bit reminiscent of some island. The first courses are served in pans and made with excellent quality ingredients, you're spoiled for choice on which to order, they are all delicious. My husband had yellow gold with cod and yellow and red cherry tomatoes... Wow, my son had octopus and I had mussels and pecorino cheese that just writing about it makes my mouth water. And what can I say about the battered cod on a bed of Mantuan pumpkin... 😋 The seafood is also worth a try. They don't take reservations, the only flaw, but they are quite fast. I highly recommend stopping to eat at this place which at first glance seems unpretentious but in reality is very much so.

16/06/2025: Trattoria Lu Cucchiarone is a real discovery in the heart of Mirabella Eclano. A welcoming and familiar atmosphere, perfect for those looking for traditional Irpinia cuisine with that touch of authenticity that is getting lost everywhere. The dishes are well prepared, abundant and with an authentic flavor: rich appetizers, tasty first courses, and second courses that taste like home. The desserts are also excellent, simple but made with care. Friendly service and fair timing, honest prices, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Overall, a trattoria to recommend to those who like to eat well without too many frills. One star less only because there are still some details that can be improved, but it is still a place to return to willingly.

10/06/2025: The atmosphere inside the venue is nice. It's easy to find parking. Courteous staff. Acceptable prices. It is not possible to have cheese inside the starters! Olive oil in sachets, even though we are in an area with excellent local extra virgin olive oil. Excessively seasoned first courses.

29/06/2025: Terrible experience They still need to understand how to welcome and above all learn manners. A group of 45 people on Sunday at lunch treated badly with extreme rudeness. 10/03/2025: Di ritorno in questo locale dopo alcuni anni mi accorgo che purtroppo la buona impressione ricevuta la primo volta non viene confermata. Si puo' comprendere che due persone ,da sole, tra cucina e "sala" facciano fatica a gestire 5/6 tavoli ma il servizio è lentissimo...se entri con fame rischi di dover chiedere 3 volte il pane prima che arrivi qualcosa in tavola. Abbiamo mangiato un buonissimo primo piatto di gnocchi con gli scampi e due piatti di frittura di calamari molto elastici ...non mi sarei mai aspettato di vedere che gli stessi provengono da una busta del congelatore. Siamo al mare , il periodo è giusto ...se proprio dovete metterli congelati almeno scongelati a dovere e friggeteli come va fatto invece , purtroppo una delusione.

22/12/2024: Luogo perfetto. Ambiente accogliente e retrò, servizio ineccepibile e cibo ottimo. Cozze, pasta al granzoporo,gnocchi agli scampi e tocai. Sorbetto offerto. 56 euro ben spesi. Torneremo!!! Maoooo!

It offers drinks, croissants, cutting boards and a wide variety of books, board games and pastimes. Hot chocolate from a machine with cream spray €3.50 Modest prices for being in the main street of the historic center of the village. Reachable from the main car park via the public lift located behind the keep and town hall, passing through a suggestive walkway and a very well-kept modern square.

06/10/2024: El mejor bar por lejos y el personal es tremendo Los lugareños son muy amables y le dan la bienvenida. Todo sucede en el bar desde la mañana hasta la noche, un verdadero centro local y no todo sobre el alcohol! Los niños locales vienen y compran sus dulces y helados, etc. Un verdadero placer. Fabuloso café y pasteles por la mañana y bocadillos de pizza, etc. durante el día Gran parada para ciclistas! Nos quedamos y nos sentimos parte.

30/06/2025: Trovandoci a Polcenigo e volendo mangiare una pizza, ci siamo ricordati di questo locale in quante altre volte in passato ci eravamo trovati bene e non era male. Memori di questo ci siamo ritornati. Ordiniamo due pizze di cui una alle verdure e una bufala. Quando arrivano notiamo subito che l'impasto trabordava abbondantemente dai piatti mentre il contenuto specialmente in quella alle verdure si limitava alla parte centrale. In pratica era più pasta che contenuto. Le verdure lasciamo perdere. Solitamente si mettono verdure grigliate di stagione tipo zucchine, melanzane etc. etc.. Ci troviamo, invece, verdure tipo sottolio tra cui mais (da quando mai si mette il mais in una pizza. Il mais può andare bene per gli americani che non sanno cosa si mette in una pizza. Per loro se al posto del pomodoro si mette il Ketchap va bene lo stesso). Per la prima volta ci ritroviamo a non finire entrambi la pizza. Chiediamo cortesemente se si può mettere ciò che resta in un cartone. Di solito detta operazione per motivi pratici e igienici viene fatta in cucina dal personale e non dal cliente al tavolo. Vabbe'. Ci viene portato il contenitore richiesto (chiuso) che al cameriere cade per terra. Lo recupera e con un modo tipo "cjapa ed arrangiati" ce lo consegna. Lo apriamo e poniamo quello che rimane delle rispettive pizze. Ci rechiamo a pagare. La compagna appoggia la carta al pos per procedere al pagamento e forse perché non lo ha appoggiato nel posto giusto non avviene la transazione. La cassiera senza chiedere se poteva prendere la carta o meno la toglie repentinamente di mano alla compagna e procede al pagamento. Non sei mica una nostra parente o conoscente per fare questo. Rilascio i miei commenti sulla nostra insoddisfazione delle pizze e ce ne andiamo. Dispiace. Avevamo un bel ricordo del locale. Indubbiamente un corso accelerato di buone maniere al personale non guasterebbe. Per noi mai più.
