05/12/2025: I was familiar with the takeout, but this place is truly a gem, a real gem in Ancona for both the atmosphere and the food. You guys are great! I'll be advertising you a lot, because when a business deserves it, it's only right to advertise!

25/11/2025: This restaurant, where I ordered takeout via Deliveroo, was incredibly rude. First of all, the guy, I hope not the owner, showed complete indifference when I told him my order hadn't arrived. And above all, saying the money isn't going to me, but to Deliveroo, seems like a total disrespect to the customer. Of course, we're in Ancona, so everyone knows that restaurant expertise isn't for everyone. The service is a complete fail.

29/05/2026: ​We recently visited Taverna Rocca di Albornoz and had a pleasant evening. The restaurant features a traditional, classic setting that sets a nice, calm atmosphere for a meal. ​The food was good, particularly the pizzas. The standout was definitely the Pizza Rocca, which comes with truffle and is highly recommended if you enjoy those flavors. To finish the meal, the Nutella Panna Cotta is a great choice for dessert. ​The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, a solid place for a dependable, tasty Italian dinner.

24/05/2026: Movie-like location: We can't help but cry. The atmosphere is typically medieval and very evocative. The service is fast and friendly. The food is excellent and the prices are very competitive. Definitely recommended. The service is missing a star only because of some hesitation when paying. Anyway, nothing special.

27/02/2026: I'll start by saying that before writing this review, I've been to this pizzeria several times and have always encountered the same issues. The pizza looks good, but after three or four hours, it gives me heartburn, and I eat a lot of pizza, so this pizza is the only thing that gives me heartburn. But other than that, kindness here is optional. The clerk (I think she's the owner) always seems annoyed, almost like she's doing you a favor by giving you a slice. I can tolerate the (in my opinion) low-quality ingredients and bread, but kindness and friendliness in a public place are a must. I'm disappointed and will never go back. There are plenty of pizzerias out there.

08/02/2026: The pizza by the slice really surprised me, with a very good, crispy dough and very fresh ingredients. The price was reasonable and absolutely worth the product. The place wasn't spacious, but it was also cozy, and the takeaway pizzas were a bit poorly wrapped. In any case, it was a great pizzeria, and I'll definitely be back.

15/08/2025: A nice place to stop—breezy, clean, and welcoming—near the Palombina windsurfing club. Tasty, well-cooked, and beautifully presented dishes. The highlight of this place is definitely the wait staff, young but very professional and courteous. Not to be expected in this period and in a holiday destination. Well done!

Matteo, the owner, is extremely kind and a music expert. The other staff members have also always treated me with kindness and courtesy. A wonderful experience.

17/06/2025: Very nice beach, well organized, and equipped with an excellent self-service restaurant that produces excellent dishes and complete menus at very competitive prices. The beach has some small stones, but nothing annoying, even for those used to sand. Absolutely recommended!

What stood out most was the staff — even with the crowds in town during the H.O.G. Spring Rally, they kept things moving and handled the pressure without any issues. A solid spot I’d come back to.

05/05/2026: We ordered antipasti (grilled sardines and anchovies), pizzas, a pasta dish, fruit juices, water, a spritz, a bottle of red wine, and no dessert. Overall, the food wasn't bad, it was actually quite good, but I'm deducting two stars because the portions were rather small [We are in Italy, after all! And by the sea!]. Also, the sardine pasta dish wasn't quite what I expected. The spaghetti with sardines was swimming in far too much oil. The pizzas and antipasti were fine. The drinks were also good, and the local red wine at €14 a bottle wasn't bad at all! The service was also quite good, fairly decent at that time. As for the atmosphere, it was fairly quiet as it wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. I think there were only four occupied tables when we were there. Perhaps it was too early? I don't know! Because you should know that we went straight in when it opened at 7:30 pm and we stayed less than two hours.

01/05/2026: If you take the menu, they're organized for multiples of two people, but it's not specified, so I happened to be a group of three and receive a single plate of fried fish (two portions). The menu portions are small, but on paper they're normal. There are fewer waiters than tables, so it's a bit confusing; later arrivals can get served first. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, the food is quite good, and the quality and price are average.

15/04/2026: The location is a bit of a hike uphill, but the area is very beautiful and quiet, with the sea nearby. The friendly staff and varied breakfast make you appreciate the place.

26/02/2026: Quiet and basic, yet clean, rooms. There's a minibar with free bottled water (which isn't a given these days). Comfortable bathroom. Abundant and varied breakfast, ample parking. Friendly and helpful staff. A good base if you're in the Ancona area!
