Frontemare In Montemarciano

We ordered antipasti (grilled sardines and anchovies), pizzas, a pasta dish, fruit juices, water, a spritz, a bottle of red wine, and no dessert. Overall, the food wasn't bad, it was actually quite good, but I'm deducting two stars because the portions were rather small [We are in Italy, after all! And by the sea!]. Also, the sardine pasta dish wasn't quite what I expected. The spaghetti with sardines was swimming in far too much oil. The pizzas and antipasti were fine. The drinks were also good, and the local red wine at €14 a bottle wasn't bad at all! The service was also quite good, fairly decent at that time. As for the atmosphere, it was fairly quiet as it wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. I think there were only four occupied tables when we were there. Perhaps it was too early? I don't know! Because you should know that we went straight in when it opened at 7:30 pm and we stayed less than two hours.

excellent food and good courtesy

Delicious appetizers, fabulous scampi gnocchi, excellent and plentiful mixed fried fish. Excellent service. Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Mediocre service like the pizza

It's not worth ordering the set menu, which at checkout is called a tasting menu, and it's not the same thing. They serve the same entree to everyone who ordered a regular portion, so it's significantly reduced for everyone. Plus, the wait is exorbitant, as you see people who came later eat first despite ordering the same things. The food is decent, the skewers are good.

We went to my wife's birthday party, the food was good, the staff were very kind, the owner was very kind, nothing negative.

Discovered a beautiful place... the food is good... the waiter with the queue is fantastic... crazy but wonderful... we will gladly return...

Good food, fair prices, good service, and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.
