05/06/2026: Just steps from the hotel where we were staying, we discovered AMELIE at the recommendation of the reception staff. A welcoming place with musically evocative images and paintings on the walls that enhance the interior. The staff was friendly and the service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent, with both meat and fish options. We opted for two appetizers, followed by two first courses (all fish), and treated ourselves to house wine and dessert (the zuppa inglese, one of my favorite desserts and hard to find on menus, but it was divine). The price was absolutely reasonable. Definitely a must-try for that part of Ancona.

04/05/2026: We celebrated my son's first communion at Agra Mater, and it was a wonderful confirmation. Nestled in the countryside, the location is enchanting, with a view that alone is worth the visit. The food was another strong point: local, organic, and excellent quality. Lara, the owner, was extremely kind and accommodating to every request. All our guests complimented us on the truly delicious food. I highly recommend this place, both for the quality of the cuisine and the warm welcome!

23/04/2026: Small place on a central street in Macerata. I've had takeout many times and find the quality and flavor truly excellent. They make everything freshly made and have a wide selection of sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. The owner is very quick, friendly, and always willing to make any changes requested. There are two small benches outside, perfect for takeout or a quick lunch!

08/07/2026: Yesterday evening, July 7th, I went to Trattoria Bonelli on the recommendation of a woman I met on the beach. I called to make a reservation for 8:45 PM, but they told me I could arrive around 8:30 PM, so I rushed to get there on time. When I arrived, the place was empty, and it was just me and my girlfriend... but that didn't matter, as the goal was to eat well. I asked for the menu, and the girl immediately told me they didn't have a refrigerator or freezer and that they cooked everything fresh... How can they not have these two essential appliances for a restaurant and food preservation!? Unaware of the prices the girl hadn't mentioned, we listened to the menu, which consisted of very few choices. I asked for appetizers and main courses. Appetizers: stuffed olives, eggs and mushrooms, soup, and green bean salad. Main courses: fillet steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes, caprese (mozzarella and tomato), a mixed vegetable dish, and gratinated vegetables. A little embarrassed with my girlfriend (it was my last dinner in Ascoli, and I would have liked to have had a more traditional dinner...), I ordered sparkling water, Ascoli olives, eggs and mushrooms (I asked if the mushrooms were local, but they were actually mushrooms!), and fillet steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes. It was incredibly sad, knowing all the Ascoli delicacies I could have tasted. The olives arrived, and their filling was practically dry, and the olives tasted like nothing. They offered us two bruschettas made with two thick slices of bread with a firm, almost unleavened crumb, with a whole, tasteless tomato crushed on top (bruschetta should be at least slightly crunchy, tossed with garlic, salt, and basil!) Quite embarrassing. Then the girlfriend came over and told me they didn't have the ingredients for eggs and mushrooms! At that point, not wanting to ruin my last dinner in Ascoli, I stood up and asked the girl in a low voice if I could speak to her aside, since a couple of foreign tourists had arrived in the dining room. Above all, respect for the staff. I explained that I didn't like the olives, that I didn't know they didn't have a refrigerator or freezer, and that the menu was a bit meager, and that I would have left, apologizing, and that I would have paid if there was a charge. Moral of the story: the girl accompanied me to the cash register and charged me 13 euros (water and Ascoli olives, which I practically left on the table). I would never have written a negative review, but charging me 13 euros was, in my opinion, a real shame. Furthermore, the customer isn't informed of the prices of the various dishes, and the girl told me it was written that the restaurant had neither a refrigerator nor a freezer... but where was that written?!!! I will never return, nor will I recommend you to anyone. This is no way to do business in a restaurant. Best regards.

18/06/2026: I spent two consecutive evenings at this absolutely authentic trattoria in the heart of Ascoli Piceno, where I was on business. The decor is traditional. The food was good (the Ascoli olives "made with grandma's recipe," the tagliata, the desserts, and the pasta alla gricia were excellent). Federica, however, made the difference with her welcome, her smile, and her friendliness, which made me feel at home.

As soon as you arrive at the entrance, you are greeted by the magic of an ice cream department full of flavors, from the most classic to the most imaginative, all truly excellent. You are then struck by the pastry shop which, with croissants, pastries, dry biscuits and every other delicacy, makes your mouth water. Congratulations guys 👏👏👏

11/07/2026: I come back often...it truly confirms its quality! Unexpected and very well organized...I drank an excellent cocktail on the owner's recommendation: a rich and unpredictable aperitif, of high quality. I'll be back soon for the desserts, too, but the aperitif won me over! Well done!

11/06/2026: Among so many pizzerias where a Margherita costs double figures, this place surprised us. It's a pizzeria, a restaurant, delicious desserts, a wide selection of bitters/gins, and a splendid view while you eat. Informal and friendly service, excellent prices.
