Hands down, one of the best restaurants overall in the entire Macerata area. Management focuses on quality over quantity, with limited seating and no overly eccentric offerings. The owner and staff are helpful and ready to please. The food does justice to the price and your expectations. We'll be back.

The owner was very kind, in fact, extremely kind, we almost felt in Claudio and Lavinia are embarrassed. We came just today for lunch, what can I say? Everything was very good. We'll be back. We had a family lunch and enjoyed excellent dishes. The service was impeccable, very kind and courteous. The food was of the highest quality. The appetizers were generous, the first courses were truly delicious, and the meat was of exceptional quality...not to mention the desserts!!! They were also amazing! We will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Quiet, high-quality place, and honestly, I thought we'd spend more for all the money we got. Instead, I had a pleasant surprise when I went to pay. We'll be back to try the starters and pizza.

26/05/2026: Once a week I make a point of getting pizza there. Their jalapeños are PHENOMENAL. The pizza dough is excellent and well-topped (and that's coming from a Neapolitan guy :)). The place is lovely, very well-kept.

06/05/2026: May 2026, an "Almost Dinner" aperitif among "longtime" friends after the theater...excellent for the welcome, the location, the excellent food, the right amount, the good value, the discretion, the expertise, the professionalism, the taste, the elegance, and the originality of the owners. Thanks to whoever introduced me to it. I will definitely return to share a pleasant evening with dear friends. Tixi 62
02/02/2026: We arrived at Ars Vivendi (Nico). A beautiful place. The host gave us a warm and human welcome, knowledgeable and immediately empathetic. As suggested, I asked the host Nico for wine recommendations. He suggested a wonderful Lambrusco. He welcomed us with an entrée of pumpkin pie, also a sinful treat. Then came Ascoli olives, artisanal cremini, lentil, farro, and pumpkin soup, and crostini. I forgot about the panciotti, with eggplant and scamorza. And finally, my wife noticed that Laura, in the kitchen, had just baked some cantuccini. They were excellent. In keeping with ancient, but never outdated, traditions. A lovely evening.
