10/11/2025: During my trip to Urbino, I had only one desire: to try this elusive walnut gelato that's been hyped so much by influencers on a popular social media site, and which appears to be offered by Sorbetto del Duca. We found the shop open at 6:30 PM on Friday, and, unaware of what we would later sadly discover, we decided to wait until Saturday or Sunday to enjoy this delicacy. Yet, on our way back to the square in Urbino, we realized that Sorbetto del Duca would never see a light on inside. Google says "open until 11 PM," but it seems the owners were having a nap starting at 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM on Sunday. While hoping that nothing bad has happened to the sorbet makers, I find myself forced to judge this establishment as having, to say the least, peculiar opening hours.

05/03/2026: I expected better. The atmosphere is quiet, though not intimate. The food is average, the prices are a bit high for a mall, and the staff isn't particularly welcoming...

30/12/2025: This is probably the first negative review I've written about a place I've stayed... I booked for four days, but we had to leave after the third. Every morning between 8 and 8:30, someone was making noise: first the cleaning lady constantly banging her broom on the iron handrail of the stairs, then the drill and hammer work... Not to mention the argument with another guest at 12:30 in front of our door... The owner refunded us for the day we paid for but didn't use, only €20, no comment! The room was small, no bidet, clean but rather hard towels. The windows didn't have blinds; I recommend wearing an eye mask. The only positive thing is the sea view.

14/08/2025: We spent two days in San Benedetto and happened upon this beach resort, which has absolutely everything: the family who runs it welcomed us warmly and with great kindness. The facility is equipped with every comfort and serves a thirst-quenching and delicious draft beer. I highly recommend it!

16/01/2026: My friends and I went to this place for the first time last night and had a great time, both in terms of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It was a pleasant surprise. I recommend it.

05/01/2026: I think there's been a change in management, the only negative note is that the heating was broken (it can happen). Otherwise, the food was good, the service was decent.

28/12/2025: What can I say? I'm sorry that a place where you can eat can be ruined by a small, VERY IMPORTANT detail. They aren't entirely honest when it comes to the bill; the prices don't match those on the menu, and they're a bit sneaky by adding inexplicable amounts. It's a shame because in a place like ours, in Ascoli Piceno, there aren't any places where... like in this case... they grill meat. It's one of the very few places here, BUT it's ruined by the dishonesty of those who run it. HONESTY WINNS ABOVE ALL. What a shame!!

27/11/2025: When it comes to the bill, the owner applies the prices he decides, they are not those on the menu... the final bill is excessive, the POS doesn't work, ... the receipt?? Who saw it!?!?... goodbye!

31/12/2025: We were supposed to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation party. Since we only knew the graduation date about two weeks in advance, we found ourselves having to plan everything a bit last-minute, but we knew that L'Accipicchia has a room rented specifically for parties (birthday parties, graduations, etc.), since other friends of ours had already celebrated there. So I immediately contacted the number on their Google page. After asking for various information, I was told I could come and see the room in person during the week and that I could simply call the same day, even half an hour before the chosen time. Furthermore, during the first call, I had already confirmed the room to reserve it. We had agreed to stay on Saturday morning. To be fair, I WhatsApped them on Friday evening to confirm, but received no response. On Saturday morning, I tried calling their landline three times and their cell phone three times, with no response. So I sent another message, thinking I could perhaps come in the afternoon, but that too went unanswered. When the day of the party arrived (another week had passed), I received a call saying, "You're having a party this evening!" I replied that yes, but somewhere else, because I hadn't been notified of anything further. They asked me, "But why not at least a text?" when in reality I had made numerous calls and sent two messages, which had never been viewed (despite WhatsApp being active). Immediately after the call, when I re-entered the chat, the checkmarks turned blue. Luckily, we managed to find another room at the last minute and celebrate, but if that hadn't been the case, we would have found ourselves without anything to do, not through any fault of our own, but due to the careless and disorganized management. I never expected such a lack of communication and organization, especially after having given clear confirmation. What a shame!

05/02/2026: The products are good, but unfortunately, when you walk in, no one greets you or responds to your greeting. This is unacceptable. Unfortunately, these things matter, and we should pay attention to them.

01/02/2026: A star for service. The pastries are picked up with tongs or, at most, a napkin. With hands that a second before had touched money, a little bit of everything here and there, without washing them, he picks up the pastries and cookies. What's more, with a full hand, not even two fingers on the side. My only mistake was not to hand them over and walk away.

31/03/2026: We tried this place for the first time, walking by by chance, and given it was lunchtime, why not? The place is very clean with minimalist decor and a touch of personality. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. We opted for two poke and a gyoza, both of which were spectacular. The poke menu also includes a glass of white wine, if you like. The price is very reasonable considering the freshness and quality of the product. 100% recommended, and see you next time!

07/03/2026: Ordered delivery for 8:30-9:00 PM. At 9:00 PM, I called for info and was told the order had been shipped 10 minutes earlier. Arrived at 9:30 PM. Inedible. 25 euros wasted.

06/04/2026: Two spritzes, with a small bag of chips, plus another small bag of chips requested in addition, paid... 13.5 euros without any receipt... it's expensive because the spritz wasn't a spritz... shame, the place was nice... but I'll never stop again...

10/06/2025: Very positive stay, with some aspects that could be improved but overall absolutely satisfactory. We stayed in a triple room, probably also used for school groups: the furniture is simple, there were marks on the walls (like children's scribbles) and the cleaning could be a little more thorough. Details that however do not weigh too much, considering the price paid. One of the things I appreciated most is the openness towards animals: our dog was welcomed without problems, and I really appreciated the fact that they cooked dinner for her, with kindness and availability. The breakfast is very rich, with sweet, savory and healthy options. The hotel is surrounded by greenery, in a quiet and very convenient location for visiting the Frasassi Caves, the Valadier Temple and other beauties of the area. The area has little traffic, ideal for moving by car from one village to another in complete freedom. The prices at the bar are also honest and I highly recommend trying the treatments in the spa: qualified staff, relaxing environment and a center recognized by the National Health Service. In conclusion, a quiet and genuine place, with an excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended for those who want to discover an authentic part of the Marche - perhaps in the company of their dog.

09/06/2025: I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with half board, the food was very good and plentiful, the rooms were new, but central heating so it was incredibly hot (I went at the end of April) and rooms with zero soundproofing... comfortable bed but terrible pillows... all the staff were super friendly

02/03/2026: We booked yesterday for 2:00 PM. We waited outside for half an hour because the table wasn't available, and another hour before anything arrived. There were 6 of us, and we couldn't eat together because nothing was ready. In fact, after waiting 45 minutes at the table, we were told the linguine was sold out! We only ordered one course because we had to leave and couldn't wait any longer. The cherry on the cake... I asked for a toothpick, and they brought me a 15-cm skewer. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad, but the service, despite not being as crowded as during peak season, was terrible!

01/03/2026: The food (when it arrived) was very good, although the quantity was small. Terrible service. We had a very long wait even though we had arrived and the place was still empty. After about an hour of waiting, they finally deigned to tell us it was their fault... forgetfulness, to be precise. Never again.
