We were persuaded by the signs.
We had lunch, attracted by the daily menu: it featured first courses.
The food was pre-cooked and defrosted.
The bar service is certainly adequate. The small restaurant, however, is not.
Beautiful location. The dining room is in a cave, with a brick vault.

29/01/2026: I asked for a ready-made cake with cream and gianduja, and they delivered a strawberry cake.
One person (who was supposed to eat it) is allergic to strawberries; if we hadn't noticed, it would have been a problem.
These are things that have to be taken into account. I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience.

The bag came with a fortune cookie! The pieces inside were huge!!! The girl at the cashier was kind and really helpful, and she even gave me a discount, not knowing you could order takeout not just a la carte, but also with small menus! Thank you so much! I'll definitely be back!!!
13/10/2025: The food was really low quality , not worth the price at all, not good quality, the staff are nice, but serving is really really slow. I would never go there again .

26/10/2025: Beyond the resort stay, the restaurant is highly recommended.
The dishes are excellent, not overly special, but they do their part. The portions are generous. The restaurant feels luxurious, and the service confirms this. The waiters are extremely kind and helpful. They accompany you throughout the evening, making it truly enjoyable.
Be careful of the noise in the kitchen, which, due to its poor soundproofing, can be a bit distracting given the serene and quiet atmosphere.
14/10/2025: Luxurious, very welcoming, well-furnished, and nestled in Borgo Lanciano. Excellent local dishes. A little pricey, but that's understandable given the setting.

17/11/2025: I'm giving one star because I can't give less: the owner is really rude and surly. I went for a job interview and he immediately sent me away, asking me irrelevant personal questions and asking: "Do you smoke?" When I answered in the affirmative, he kicked me out without taking into consideration my experience and availability. I strongly advise against the place for anyone in the area.

07/01/2026: I went there at Christmas and found the atmosphere simple, the staff welcoming, and the food good. Of course, if you order wine, the price goes up a bit in these places...otherwise, I was satisfied...
25/11/2025: The only excuse I can find is that we went in the low season. Unfortunately, the place was dirty, dust everywhere, and despite the limited work, the staff didn't care. The food was quite low quality for the category. I wouldn't go back.
