10/11/2025: Well-kept bar and friendly and helpful owners.

10/01/2026: A disappointing and decidedly less than ideal experience. A nice place, albeit a bit pretentious, but the experience was ruined by the management. I arrived at 8:30 PM and my friends were already seated at a table reserved by others for 9:00 PM. The manager had seated them knowing the number of people and that it was only for a short time, as it was a quick aperitivo. What could have been a favor in seating them anyway quickly backfired: the manager returned repeatedly within minutes, asking us to move, not to stand in the way, not to be near the next table, etc. We were perfectly willing to stand, in a designated space, or whatever. Even the wait staff seemed generally cold. After about twenty minutes, to avoid further inconvenience and annoyance, despite the January temperatures, I preferred and asked to finish my drink outside. Those who work in hospitality should have very different quality standards. Unfortunately, neither the manager nor the wait staff showed us any particular tact or courtesy. I'm sorry, but I'm used to being treated differently and to different quality standards. I was new to the place, and this decidedly unpleasant experience has led me to not recommend it or return. If there wasn't enough room, it's better to say "sorry, we're full" than to repeatedly make us feel like we're being overcharged and uncomfortable. Poor management.

23/12/2025: A place with a special and distinctive atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. The menu isn't very extensive, but the dishes are still good.

05/04/2026: The bartender is phenomenal, very kind and also quick in service.

08/02/2026: The bar is very nice and well organized, but the cocktails are not adequate, in the sense that vodka lemon, gin lemon seems to drink only lemon soda, too much lemon and not enough vodka, not enough gin..... You should be a little more generous!!!

06/12/2025: The pizzeria is very simple in its decor, but the pizza is delicious. The best I've ever had in the Macerata area. I highly recommend it. Well done guys!

15/09/2025: The atmosphere was nice, but the "crescia" with porchetta we were served was nothing more than a frozen piadina topped with porchetta, albeit good. I still find it unacceptable to present what we were served as crescia, especially when we paid €10 for it. Crescia from the Marche region is something completely different; if you want authentic flavors, stay away. Shameful.

26/08/2025: The Panfritto was excellent, the pizzas and desserts were very good, the service was friendly and fast, even though it was Saturday night and the restaurant was very crowded.

30/08/2025: My wife and I stayed for a week from August 17th to 24th, 2025. The hotel was seafront with an excellent view from the balcony. The breakfast was adequate, with a very good croissant. This was a great thing, as I've rarely found cappuccino or coffee made fresh, rather than from the machines, which, besides being bad, sometimes even require you to wait in line. Instead, here, the girls would come by and ask what you wanted, which was very welcome. They would also come back a second time to ask if you wanted anything else. The rooms were always clean, as was the entire hotel. My wife, unfortunately, had a health problem, and Mrs. Tania immediately took action to help us, which was very much appreciated. I thank all the staff at the Hotel Sassonia, who were always smiling, and I must say, that's not something everyone can do. It's definitely an excellent option for those who want to travel by train, as the train station is very close by, just a short walk. Then Fano has remained in our hearts and we will definitely return, definitely to the Hotel Sassonia. Highly recommended... See you soon, Hotel Sassonia. And I forgot, they also had a concept with the beach in front of it, an excellent establishment with a pool too, which was very welcome.

30/08/2025: Excellent food, kindness and friendliness. I didn't photograph the first and second courses because we were too hungry. 😄 We will definitely be back. I forgot: very fair prices!!!

08/03/2026: A small café and pastry shop, but despite its size, it's still worth stopping by! The pastries are delicious, large and rich, and there's a huge selection. The girls at the counter are incredibly kind and always smiling. We had a cream croissant and a cocoa croissant filled with cream and black cherry, which were SPECTACULAR!!!

14/02/2026: Truly excellent artisanal pastry shop. From sweet to savory, everything is well-made; you can taste the quality and care in every product. The place is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming, perfect for a quick break or to grab something to take home. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making you feel at ease without too many frills. Overall, a worthwhile place: good products, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service. Recommended.

20/12/2025: I've been coming here since I was a kid, and it's always a sure thing. An old-school Chinese restaurant unlike any other. Classic, good food. They also recently introduced sushi.
