31/08/2025: I've returned to this restaurant after many years, and I have to say that some things seem to have changed. I'm referring primarily to the service, but especially to the prices and order management. It must be said that the food remains better than many Japanese restaurants around today; after all, this was the first Japanese restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, with a Japanese chef who adds a touch of true tradition. The sore point, however, is the price: it's definitely too high. I understand the quality of the product, but charging €2.50 for a simple refill of soy or wasabi seems truly excessive. The other courses are also disproportionately priced: you can spend €120 for two and leave feeling like you've only had an aperitivo. It's true that prices are exorbitant these days, but at this rate, paying such prices becomes truly unsustainable, considering we're not talking about a Michelin-starred restaurant.

07/12/2025: Yesterday I went to this place with a group of friends: great atmosphere and original drinks. We ordered a Long Island and a Cosmopolitan, which arrived shortly afterward. Unfortunately, they were both mediocre. The Long Island had a strange taste, like lemon soda (which isn't an ingredient), while the other flavors (Coke, rum, gin, etc.) were completely absent. The Cosmopolitan was unbalanced and tasted only of vodka. When we asked the waiter about it, he said he didn't know what had happened because he hadn't made the drinks, but that he would. After waiting about 20 minutes without seeing anything arrive, we decided to get up and go pay. At the counter, we explained the problem again, but were told the waiter hadn't reported anything, that perhaps some mistakes had been made, but nothing could fix the situation. In the end, they thanked us, apologized briefly, we paid, and left. I don't think we'll be back.

23/03/2026: I guess we came on the wrong day, but scrolling through various reviews, I see I'm not the first to notice a few things. The place itself is very cute, welcoming, small, and well-decorated. We booked for lunch, but before we could sit down, we had to wait over 10 minutes for a table. Another half hour passed before we could order. For the appetizer (initially served to only one of us, and then the rest arrived quite a while later) and the main course, a total of hours passed. I want to point out that we absolutely don't blame the girl who was waiting on the tables, who found herself apologizing for the various inconveniences. We came in at 1:30 PM and left at 4 PM for two dishes each, three of us, without waiting for coffee or dessert. To be fair, I won't discuss what we saw specifically, because we were by no means the only ones to experience this that day, and we witnessed some unpleasant and somewhat embarrassing situations. As for the food, the quality is good. I'm very sorry to find myself having to make these comments, because I know that a business requires a lot of sacrifice and commitment, but the customer's time and money are also valuable, given that the final bill wasn't that cheap either. I hope this can help you make some informed decisions.

17/03/2026: The truffle pasta alone is worth the time it takes to serve it. This is easily the best homemade fresh pasta we’ve ever had. And we are globetrotting foodies. Just expect the lovely owner to take his time producing this amazing food

21/12/2025: Saturday, December 20, 2025, a group of 23 friends from Ancona. Excellent pizza, beautiful atmosphere, table in the Latin dining room, guaranteed fun. And that's no small thing. Worth the 55-minute drive!

Delicious pizza with a high crust and excellent leavening, rich, top-quality ingredients and toppings, fabulous beer, top-quality and expertly tapped. 12/10/2025: I went with my wife and son for an aperitif at this pub located in the center of Senigallia. It's a small and intimate place, with a vintage style, a lounge with various games, and a TV in the inner room for company. The place has a simple menu: flatbreads, sandwiches, focaccias, and platters to accompany the excellent beers on offer, especially German ones. The bar is always crowded and convivial, the owners are welcoming and always available. Overall, it's a good place to spend some time together.
