20/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, as we weren't familiar with the place. We ordered the veal tagliata with parmesan and arugula, which was truly excellent, both in terms of the ingredients and the way it was cooked and seasoned. The prices were absolutely reasonable; the wait times were also reasonable, especially considering the meat was grilled (not on a griddle). The staff was friendly and quick. The place also boasts a well-kept garden and convenient private parking. The only downside, which obviously doesn't affect the above, is that when there's a lively crowd, the place can seem noisy because people's voices echo. In this regard, I would kindly point out that during a future renovation (which is currently completely unnecessary as the place is well-kept and clean), I would consider installing sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling and walls. In conclusion, if I ever find myself passing by again during lunch/dinner hours, I'll definitely stop by; in fact, I'll try to coordinate my times!

10/06/2026: Yesterday afternoon my daughters had lunch here and ordered a Coke, two salads, and two pieces of bread. They found a worm in the salad with the oil (it can happen, for goodness sake), so the owner simply took the two salads away and charged everything else without much explanation. Well, I won't add anything else except that fortunately my daughter had (only) diarrhea all day 🙏

03/06/2026: I've known this place for many years, and it's been a while since I've been. Today, I was in the area, saw their sign again, and stopped in. What can I say? It was a leap into the past. I rediscovered those flavors, dishes, and customs we were accustomed to back then. Some might take these words lightly, but I assure you, they're meant to be a compliment. Today, if you don't serve so-called gourmet dishes, in Instagrammable settings and styles that most of the time you don't even understand, you risk being nobody. Simple, delicious dishes, made with love and as home cooking demands; served by kind and friendly staff, which isn't exactly a bad thing. In short, it was exactly what I expected, and what I don't find so easily anymore. The final bill was completely in line with what I received. The only thing is, the ventilation in the kitchen could be improved in favor of the dining room.

25/04/2026: I ordered "gnocco allo scoglio" and got gnocchi with pancetta, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and 3 shrimp (and cream/béchamel, I think). I paid €15 for a meager portion.

03/06/2026: So the sushi tastes like nothing. The salmon is like styrofoam, full of fat. The tuna is beyond reproach, and the shrimp gave us the shivers, and the hosomaki seaweed tasted like cinchona. I'm giving the service two stars because the waiter was friendly. I absolutely don't recommend wasting 30 euros per person.

14/10/2025: A small family-run restaurant in the heart of the Laga woods. We had a porcini mushroom lunch, and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. The maltagliati with porcini and chestnut sauce is highly recommended. The owner is truly helpful, friendly, and attentive to service and the needs of her guests. We'll definitely return.

13/09/2025: The setting says it all. Pozza, a hamlet of Acquasanta, site of battles and brutal reprisals during the 1944-45 civil war between Nazi-Fascists and partisans, a few houses, some still under restoration, a few souls left to testify to the ancestral attachment to these places of mountains and extraordinary waterfalls. Mother and daughter, both mushroom pickers, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room. Their cuisine is down-to-earth, flavorful, and never predictable. The gentle roughness of those who know you're just passing through and they're here year-round. A pop-up atmosphere, amidst mountains that are rock, in every sense of the word. Mushrooms, of course. I recommend the appetizer selection. And the pasta dishes. We'll be back for the fried fish, hoping to stop by when it's available. Open all day as a bar and restaurant, but only for lunch as a restaurant.

11/05/2026: The breakfast pastries are delicious, fresh and artisanal. They also offer homemade dry pastries, and pizza by the slice or by the slice is standard. The "sfoglia" pizza filled with vegetables or other ingredients is delicious (order now). The light lunches are also excellent, with salads, a choice of round pizzas, or homemade first courses. Fast and friendly service.

08/09/2025: Excellent giant piadinas, sandwiches, crepes, and various salads (accompanied by lots of piadina). They also offer piadizza, a happy cross between a piadina and a pizza. A cute place with Italian pop/rock music and very welcoming staff. A must-visit when I'm in the Gabicce area.

06/09/2025: Very good artisanal piadina. Very friendly service, but the wait was excessive (over 30 minutes).

27/08/2025: A very good place, both in terms of quality, price, and service, and of course, it's always a place where all the workers go for lunch. I highly recommend it.
