03/12/2025: I stopped for breakfast during a bike ride... the place is nice and I was served kindly.
Good cappuccino and croissants.

The room was old, smelly, and dirty.
The bedspread was a mass of hair.
In the bathroom, aside from the worn showerhead, there wasn't even any shower gel. The hand soap was in an unlabeled plastic container from who knows what prehistoric era. All for the modest sum of €70 a night for two.
Don't go there!
30/04/2026: I went to Golfetto in Varedo for a business lunch with a colleague, choosing the full menu for €13.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. For my first course, I ordered pasta with garlic, oil, and chili pepper: it arrived overcooked, with very little seasoning, and virtually no flavor.
For my second course, I ordered a Milanese cutlet, but I was served a very thin, breaded slice. Definitely not a Milanese cutlet.
The only positive note was the French fries, but they were definitely too salty.
Overall, low quality and average price. I wouldn't recommend it.

10/01/2026: I placed an order that contained two pizzas and two desserts... first of all, it arrived LATE AND COLD... secondly, one of the two desserts DIDN'T ARRIVE. I called back saying that a dessert was missing. Do you want to know the answer? WE CAN'T BRING IT TO YOU 😡😡😡 I SPENT SOME MONEY AND THE PROBLEM IS ONE LESS CUSTOMER anyway.

11/10/2025: Absurd, unfortunately I have to give a very bad review for the management.
Out of 10 times I've ordered pizza from them, 9 have arrived late, and even with the wrong pizzas.
Half-hour delays, even though I called to order at 6:10 PM as soon as they opened.
Tonight I asked for the order to be delivered at 8:30 PM because I had an appointment, and they arrived to deliver it at 8:50 PM.
I called at 8:40 PM to ask if they'd already brought out the pizzas, and they told me to be patient.
I've also worked in the restaurant industry, and the advice I can give them is to always be clear with the customer.
I definitely won't order from them again.

18/04/2026: Terrible experience. The chef clearly labeled us as tourists, feeling entitled to offer us shoddy and inattentive service. The food was soulless and tasteless, compounded by the wine that seemed watered down. Even though we weren't tourists, we suffered the typical treatment reserved for those who aren't supposed to know much about local cuisine. A €100 bill for two was completely disproportionate to the (disgusting) quality of the food served. When passion is missing, all that's left is a hefty bill and a lot of disappointment.
05/04/2026: We chose Locanda del Transito (Osteria Manfredi) for Easter lunch and can say without a doubt that it was a fantastic experience! 🐣✨
Everything was truly exquisite, with a menu full of delicious and carefully crafted dishes, where each dish was prepared with great care and flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. 🍽️😋
A big shout-out also goes to the staff, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, making us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the lunch. 👏😊
It's definitely a great place not only for special occasions like Easter, but also for lunch breaks or aperitifs, thanks to the pleasant atmosphere and impeccable service. 🥂

08/03/2026: I ordered two poke bowls for over €28, and honestly, we were blown away. For what we received, the price was completely unjustified; the ingredients inside were very poor, both in quantity and quality. Overall, a truly disappointing experience.
Poor value for money. Never again.

19/04/2026: A morning awaited us at Civica... what could you eat other than cappuccino and pizza?
The owners are super welcoming and helpful.
The puff pastry pizza was really good, and my companion really enjoyed her chocolate brioche.
It would be even better if they had a few more square meters!
25/03/2026: Giulia's desserts are out of this world!!!! Not to mention the legendary brioches of every kind, although I love the ones with jam.
Two super kind girls...you feel right at home...
Absolutely worth a try!

21/10/2025: As soon as we had breakfast, in addition to being slow as almost always, I was the only order waiting and instead of preparing it, the girls were busy chatting.... I had to go and get the order, the girl at the MC café was not at all friendly.

04/01/2026: I ordered four takeout pizzas. I called at 6:30 PM, and they arrived at 8:05 PM. The Capricciosa was inedible; I couldn't tell what kind of pizza it was. The ham one had no ham, and the spicy salami one had two slices of salami. A terrible experience.

01/10/2025: There should be more controls regarding the impossibility of making purchases by card, given that since 2022, that is, since I have been living in Vedano, I have only managed to pay with my debit card once in this place and since then the story has always been the same: "there is no connection!!!" Strange, the only place that always has "connection" problems, but if you point it out to them, they get pissed off and even treat you badly! Why??? Congratulations, Sir!!

10/02/2026: I come here a couple of times a year, I should come more often. The chocolate is amazing. The rest is too. It's quieter than Dori's, which is next door and always packed. The quality, however, is a cut above.
P.S. Anyone who says the chocolate is bitter, etc., has clearly never tasted real hot chocolate. It's not like Ciobar...
18/01/2026: Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Four of us arrived yesterday afternoon.
They don't serve table service.
The decor is shabby, post-World War II style.
The bathroom is locked and unheated, with no toilet paper or hand soap.
Damp and mold even in front of the bathroom door.
As I said, for four of us, two hot chocolates (dark, bitter as poison 🤢).
A small bottle of water and four pastries, exactly four.
A ginseng coffee.
The bill was €17.
It was definitely the first and last time for me.
Cold atmosphere.
Non-existent service.
The food is edible, but definitely not good value for money.
Go somewhere else.
Better to go to a Chinese bar.
