30/01/2026: I've had takeout pizza twice, but the staff didn't fully accommodate my requests on both occasions: once I ordered a pizza, and without my specifying, they made a pinsa; the second time I asked for two slices of pizza, and they made two large pieces that could serve two people. I recommend showing pictures of the pizza sizes, also specifying what type of pizza is being made. Otherwise, it's always a surprise. Thank you.

04/01/2026: I came across this pizzeria by chance and immediately noticed the courtesy of the staff and the cleanliness of the place. The pizza was unusual but very good and of high quality. The place was very welcoming and highly recommended.

09/12/2025: Went with my partner and some friends. Two of us had two entrees. Tagliatelle with artichokes and pasta with donkey stew sauce were both excellent. The rest of the group had good pizza with excellent ingredients. The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. The staff were very kind and well-trained. We were served in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it.

20/11/2025: The staff lacks cheerfulness, a smile would be very welcome... Too bad... For the rest it's ok.

22/10/2025: Nice restaurant with ample parking. I had the set menu for lunch: excellent variety and selection. Reservations recommended.

23/02/2026: Clean place. We arrived on Sunday at noon without a reservation due to work commitments. We ordered bigoli al torchio with tuna, mixed grill, salad, pasta with mussels, and fillet steak with potatoes. Beer, wine, and water were included. Everything was good. The service was friendly and fast. The price was good.

07/02/2026: The NebbiaGialla festival special menu is very good and recommended, especially the pumpkin tortelli. Friendly and helpful staff and a welcoming atmosphere 😍

02/04/2026: We had dinner for two, including a first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and dessert for €35. Water included. Excellent quality and quantity.

18/01/2026: Thin, chewy pizza. I asked for a delicate one (brie and prosciutto), but there wasn't even a hint of brie. 2 pizzas, 2 waters, 2 coffees, 2 desserts, €51. I don't think I'll be back. To respond to the owner's comment, my husband ordered a spicy salami, and I've been to school and can read! He would have done better to keep quiet and take the review as a starting point for improvement instead of attacking me. Reviews are a consumer tool. I exercised my right. I don't feel like I'm a keyboard lioness just because I didn't like your pizza or the bill!

08/12/2025: A café on the highway with ample parking in front. Good coffee, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, also suitable for business meetings.

06/04/2026: A while ago, we returned to Castiglione for work and were downtown. We found this pizzeria open, but parking on the street is limited. Recently opened - vintage school-movie theater atmosphere. Honestly, we were hoping for much better - the dough wasn't the best - not crispy - the toppings weren't up to par - average quality. They seated us in the basement. It was cold, with a nauseating smell of damp, buzzing with people. I don't understand how they grant access to certain rooms without windows, and a steep staircase to get in and out. Not even an ashtray outside; colleagues had to use tissues to avoid throwing cigarette filters on the floor. They didn't charge us each, but rather the Roman way. I don't recommend it.

23/02/2026: Truly exceptional pizza, the dessert is a treat, fast and friendly service, alternative and quiet atmosphere. I recommend it!

11/03/2026: Good for a work lunch break, with fairly reasonable prices (though the bill isn't always clear), and plenty of choice, including the daily menu. The place feels a bit dated, but it's fine for a quick lunch. Service isn't particularly efficient, except for Vasco, who does his job well.

03/10/2025: We left the alpine pasture after a drink because the landlady wouldn't stop complaining about the tourists. She did so loudly and with unbearable language. It's a shame, because the alpine pasture is in a beautiful location.

08/09/2025: How could I not recommend this mountain hut... easy route 1.5 hours at a normal pace 2 hours stopping several times to admire all the beauty of the valley... finally arriving at the last pine trees the view will open up allowing you to glimpse a shirt that smells of history a few meters away... .. mountain hut rebuilt several times by the old manager, father of the current one due to winter avalanches. Large comfortable tables with the possibility of refreshments (actually a full-fledged lunch) managers LIKE IN THE PAST!! Kind people with the hard work and passion of their hosts in their eyes and hands... a family that in a wood-fired kitchen churns out dishes for more than 50/70 people on busy days... and to an even greater surprise, only Anke, the lady, in the kitchen... nowadays in an average restaurant one cook isn't even enough for three customers, and with a professional kitchen... here the wait is obligatory... (a plate of speck, eggs, and potatoes could require a 10/15 minute wait with the hut full at rush hour) but you are on vacation... excellent food, try the burgers (you won't eat anything better)... no bicycles on the woods side due to obvious ‼️ dangers ⚠️... dogs on leashes because chickens and geese roam among the tables... view... needless to say... manager Alfred and his sons are always available... we will return every year!!

14/03/2026: As a Mantuan, I took two Venetian friends for aperitivo at Caravatti. Determined to make a good impression, we unfortunately had an issue with some pigeons that decided to bomb the umbrella we were sitting under. We immediately moved, and the waiters moved us to another table. My two friends hadn't "saved" their drinks, so the waiters brought new ones. When the drinks arrived, we were shocked to find that one of them, having been slightly drunk, hadn't been brought new, but at the same level as he had been drinking. This shows a very low level of customer service and disregard. After an incident like that, I would NEVER have expected our drinks to be anything less than brand new. As a Mantuan, I would never go there again. It's a shame, as years ago it was truly a landmark for the city.

12/03/2026: A historic restaurant in the heart of Mantua, charming in its own right and very welcoming. We were here on February 21, 2026, and initially sat outside, but at a certain point I got cold. They were extremely kind and allowed us to sit inside even though we'd already ordered. Excellent experience, delicious Old Fashioned, and incredibly affordable.
