A typical Italian snack bar with many delicious specialties. Whether you're looking for sweet pastries, savory snacks, or a good espresso – there's something for everyone. The aperitifs are also highly recommended. The seating under the arcades is exceptionally comfortable, and you can enjoy watching the lively activity on the street and in the Piazza delle Erbe. The prices are absolutely fair and very reasonable.

We spent three days visiting Mantua, and this was the place that pampered us every morning at breakfast. The place is historic, to say the least. Management has been passed down from son to son, keeping the tradition alive. This establishment retains the same interiors as when it first opened. Preserving is perhaps more difficult than renovating or transforming. Here you'll find quality and excellent service. Highly recommended.

A historic venue with a "piazza" feel. Their traditional "Caravatti" drink is highly recommended. The waiter Luca is particularly friendly and kind.

A historic restaurant in the heart of Mantua, charming in its own right and very welcoming. We were here on February 21, 2026, and initially sat outside, but at a certain point I got cold. They were extremely kind and allowed us to sit inside even though we'd already ordered. Excellent experience, delicious Old Fashioned, and incredibly affordable.

I tried the Caravatti red liqueur. I wasn't particularly impressed. However, they did bring me a container of taralli and chips, both very generous in portions! Those who tried to go to the bathroom said... pitiful. The place is vintage, with a mid-19th-century and Art Nouveau style.

16/12/2025: Nothing to complain about: for a neighborhood bar, it offers a wide selection of both sweet and savory treats, all of which are of course top quality. Excellent service; Robert always takes the time to pay attention to the customer, even when the bar is busy. He's truly talented! A bar worth stopping by for breakfast, a work break, an aperitif, or even lunch! Highly recommended.
29/11/2025: In the morning, the place is crowded with people. The young owner is truly kind, despite the frenzy of those who seem to be in a hurry to be served.

15/06/2026: Here’s a polished version that keeps your points but reads more naturally for a Google review: The landscape and surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent, close to many attractions and great restaurants. Unfortunately, the apartments are below the standard we expected. The kitchen is poorly equipped, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, there are no mosquito screens on the windows, and we had plenty of flies and mosquitoes inside. There is no electric kettle, and when we asked for one, we were told they don’t provide them and that we could simply boil water in a pot on the stove. That wasn’t what I expected from this type of accommodation. Breakfast is also very basic, perhaps too basic for the price point. On the positive side, the apartment was clean and the pool area is nice. Overall, while the setting is lovely, I wouldn’t return.
30/04/2026: Everything was great. The place is fantastic... peaceful and beautiful And the hosts are really friendly. We will definitely be back
