15/04/2026: A very cozy little place. The food is delicious, and everyone is friendly and kind. We went there for Easter lunch, and it was really good. We also received a hand-painted flute glass with chocolate eggs as a gift, a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent food, plenty of it, and very welcoming staff.

The bartender was always smiling, very kind and helpful, and recommended a delicious Italian beer and even offered some chips. <3 The place is clean, and the coffee and snacks are delicious. If I lived here, I'd come every day.

Highly recommended!

18/03/2026: This hotel was amazing! We were not supposed to stay in Lake Como and we booked last minute and ended up staying 2 nights since it was so good! The views from the room were amazing, the location is perfect, the breakfast was the best we had in Europe with plenty of Gluten Free options. We spent some time in the sauna which was so fun. We had a delicious drink at the bar and they gave us ao many complementary delicious snacks. We dined at the hotel restaurant one night and it was delicious. Can't believe we paid so little for such a complete experience!

18/11/2025: Amazing views and tranquil location. The management was amazing which is family run. They even arranged a drop off to the local train station where we was going to walk to!

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is endless, from sweet to savory, all of which is top-quality.
The furnishings may seem a bit dated, but they are very well-maintained.
The rooms and common areas are always clean and tidy.

13/04/2026: My husband & I got married in Varenna this Spring and had the absolute pleasure to eat & have cocktails at Visteria for our celebratory dinner.
Aziz, our bartender made our night so heartfelt & special!
He has to be one of the most charismatic, passionate & knowledgeable bartenders we’ve ever had.
He puts so much so much care into his work & we feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with his service.
If you are visiting the Lake Como area, you must give this have a drink or 3 with Aziz at Visteria!

13/04/2026: My wife and I had an incredible experience here. We celebrated our wedding at the restaurant Visteria downstairs and then continued at the bar immediately afterwards. The view was incredible, the food sensational and the service was top notch. All of the staff made the night so memorable, and our bartender Aziz made the celebration more special than we could have asked for. We will happily return in the future!

09/04/2026: The place is divided into a bar, a restaurant, and a cheese shop. A large selection of local cheeses is available, with many enjoying the Gorgonzola al cucchiaio (a spoonful).
08/04/2026: I go there often, and it's certainly very nice. The only downside is that on a sunny day like yesterday, you can't have tables without umbrellas. The cold cuts are cooked, the cheeses are melted, and the wine gets warm in two minutes, not to mention it's not at all comfortable.
Well done, but umbrellas absolutely must be used; anyone in the restaurant business should know that.
