23/11/2025: While visiting Cremona, I stumbled upon this place. It was a delightful surprise, starting with the two owners, who were truly friendly and welcoming, and ending with the pizzas with so many different and original toppings! Most importantly, the quality is top-notch at a truly reasonable price. Kudos to the owners for the passion they put into their work! If you're in Cremona, stop by—it's worth it!

12/09/2025: We went last night. The location is lovely and very quiet. I had the radicchio, cheese, and grape risotto and the gigantic cutlet, which we shared between two of us. The rice was very good, but perhaps overcooked. The cutlet was really good. The only flaw is that there's no sign outside. I walked past it twice without seeing it. We'll definitely be back.

13/12/2025: Today, four of us had lunch; we'd booked last night, knowing the place already. The first course was the famous marubini, which was very good, as were the cotechino and the boiled meats, all accompanied by sauces. The price was reasonable. Recommended. Special thanks to the young woman who served us.

16/12/2025: Family lunch at this osteria. We had a wonderful meal, including tagliatelle with wild boar ragudi and tagliatelle with truffle. The appetizers were excellent, including the giardiniera (pickled vegetables), and especially the spicy goat ricotta, which was a huge hit. We'll definitely try the other dishes. We were very satisfied and highly recommended.

15/12/2025: A memorable lunch in a place steeped in history. Lunch at Osteria Della Bassa was a truly exceptional experience. The restaurant, located at Via Dante Alighieri 66 in Casalmaggiore, welcomes guests within centuries-old walls that tell the story of the area and immediately exude an authentic and warm atmosphere, reminiscent of true osterias of yesteryear. The cuisine is deeply traditional, carefully crafted and made with top-quality ingredients, which are clearly evident from the first bite. I enjoyed the homemade tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, simply extraordinary: perfect pasta, intense and balanced flavor, the kind that lingers in the memory. The roast beef was also excellent, tender and perfectly cooked. The portions are particularly commendable, truly generous: a pleasure for the palate and the mood. I can only suggest future guests try the tagliatelle with fresh truffle, which promises to be another highlight of the menu. All this is complemented by an extremely kind, helpful, and attentive staff, capable of making you feel immediately at home. I jokingly recommend (but not too much!) bringing a hearty appetite, because generosity is the order of the day here. An authentic osteria, where tradition still lives on and is served with passion. I'll definitely be back!

12/10/2025: Like a cult place from a RENATO POZZETTO film... We go for all-fish (not ditch fish), very good and not overdone with spices to hide its low quality. The portions are very generous (justifying the price of the dish). The fried food looks over-fried, but the grilled food is very good. And the torta pinguí? It's praised, but ala fí lè na türta paradiso with Nutella and cream! The evening is a bit slow. There are several rooms that create a sense of atmosphere. Overall, GO...but be careful of the fog.

08/12/2025: Too bad, the place is small, suitable for couples, two max. I'm single and older, so I'm not a good example. I was very hungry and waited a long time, the kids come first. You don't leave hungry! The cuisine is well-prepared and meticulous, not just meat, but also fish, brought from an area where sturgeon have disappeared... I would have liked a little less salt on the anchovies; the smaller marubini would have been very delicate, as would the flavor. Well done, 9/10, my rating. I ate too much and then tried everything. The white wine was excellent, I forgot about the baked pear with ice cream!

30/11/2025: I went for lunch. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the food was excellent. They run workshops for children. There's a wonderful Christmassy feel to the place these days.

04/11/2025: A guarantee of quality!! The location is fantastic, surrounded by nature. Their pond is truly charming, and it's wonderful for children to be able to walk among the greenery and see the animal enclosure. The dishes are prepared with genuine products from their own or local producers, always in keeping with the season. The homemade desserts are exquisite. The portions are just right, and the price is truly fair. We've been there to celebrate our child's first birthday and then for a post-Halloween lunch, and we've always had a great time.

19/10/2025: Dated place, poor service, average pizzas. They may have won the award for best pizza once, but those days are clearly long gone. The menu is quite confusing and clearly outdated. We waited a good hour for our food; it's okay that we arrived during rush hour, but from around 8:30 PM until 9:45 PM...

11/09/2025: The atmosphere is classic '80s pizzeria, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, because what matters is the pizza: excellent and easy to digest. Here, however, we're in the modern world: there's an incredible variety of flavors, preparations, and flours, to please everyone. And to complete the '80s style, for those who love the most famous cola, there's a 1-liter glass bottle ;)

07/10/2025: Lunch. Good, plentiful. The roast beef was delicious. The atmosphere was clean and very pleasant, and the waitress was quick and courteous. I recommend it.

24/11/2025: We found this place by chance and had a wonderful meal. Grandma's "chicche" were the best I've ever had. The ragout was just like my mother makes. The braised beef was so tender even a toothless person could have eaten it; the sauce was pure poetry. The tiramisu biscuit was still warm with the coffee, and the cream was delicious, not too sweet. All this at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we're not from the area, but we'll be back as soon as we can.
