Osteria Giosano In Izano

10/05/2026: Il Bosco is a restaurant where you can spend a pleasant evening as a couple or with friends. Quality food, but portions are small for the price (octopus on creamed potatoes cost €15, a shame it was just one tentacle, thinly sliced, and the tortelli cremaschi were also too small). Obviously, I wasn't expecting trattoria-style portions, but neither was I expecting "the taste is good, now you can bring the rest." Instead, the cured meats and fried gnocco were adequate portions, as was the tender and flavorful rib-eye steak. The wine selection was excellent. The desserts were small, but good. Priced at €45 per person, for two courses, side dish, dessert, and a bottle of wine, I think it's a fair price.
