Excellent everything… fantastic service and advice

We stopped here for some sandwiches to go and were very pleased with the kindness of the staff and the variety and quality of the products. The sandwiches were truly excellent, highly recommended for a tasty and quick lunch.

You know those evenings when you're traveling and you're not really hungry for a restaurant and you're just waiting for a good alternative? Banco Salumi is exactly that pleasant surprise. With a well-established reputation for excellent charcuterie and cheeses, they also serve traditional hot dishes. The place is a bit "cheap" in the back, with mismatched furniture, but it makes you feel like you're at a friend's place who throws parties in their trendy garage (great poster on the wall)... the restrooms are clean. But it's the owners who make all the difference, with their warm welcome, kindness, and expertise. Charcuterie is a family tradition, and they know everything about local cheeses. Try an aged Bagos while listening to what the owner tells you about it... a very, very pleasant surprise!

We stopped by chance for a late afternoon brunch. The charcuterie and cheese platter was high-quality, with a focus on local products. Even the warm bread was tasty and fresh. The service was friendly and informal, and the owner explained each dish to us with kindness and expertise. Highly recommended!
