19/05/2025: Incredibile, scoperti per caso ma non li molliamo più. Eccellente accoglienza e servizio, location pazzesca, un angolo di paradiso nel centro storico. Birra alla spina MaltusFaber ed una cucina pazzesca. Spaghetti acciughe e pomodorini fantastici, pollo porchettato cotto alla perfezione dal sapore squisito, marinaretta “La Coccagna” eccezionale, panfocaccia equilibrata dai sapori distinguibili che si sposavano alla perfezione. Aperitivo con acciughe fritte e cuculli insuperabili, dessert crostata di frutta fatta in casa e birramisù pazzeschi. Il tutto in una location che ti fa sentire in un angolo di paradiso nonostante il centro storico sia invece caotico. Torneremo presto, grazie!

19/05/2025: Incredible, discovered by chance but we won't let them go. Excellent welcome and service, amazing location, a corner of paradise in the historic center. MaltusFaber draft beer and amazing cuisine. Fantastic spaghetti with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, perfectly cooked porchettato chicken with an exquisite flavor, exceptional marinaretta "La Coccagna", balanced panfocaccia with distinguishable flavors that married perfectly. Aperitif with fried anchovies and unsurpassed cuculli, homemade fruit tart dessert and amazing birramisu. All in a location that makes you feel like you're in a corner of paradise despite the historic center being chaotic. We'll be back soon, thank you!

01/06/2025: We went to this restaurant on the evening of May 31st, passing by without a reservation, and we got a table very quickly. The waitress was very kind and professional; she spoke Italian, English, and French. We followed her advice on the wine, which was very good. The food was good, without unnecessary frills. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Don't hesitate!

19/05/2025: We had lunch here on Easter Monday 2025, having reserved tables well in advance. The dining room was completely full, leaving many walk-ins unable to find a seat. The restaurant at the Fontana dell'Olmo clearly enjoys an excellent reputation. This excellent reputation was then confirmed by the set (surprise) menu offered to guests. Four starters on one plate, followed by a first course, a second course, and dessert, including water, house wine, and a digestif. The food was typical of the area and of the highest quality; the wine was impeccable. And all at a reasonable price. Silvia, the heart and soul of the house, even accommodated my wife's gluten intolerance. The atmosphere was informal, the service attentive, friendly, and courteous. This is what guests expect, and they are happy to return.

28/06/2025: Good morning, I wanted to clarify the negative review written the other day and discuss the response we received, which, in my opinion, portrays us as very selfish. First of all I would like to talk about the problem we encountered with the straw, I find your point to be extremely incorrect since you judge the usefulness of the straw based on the age of the customer. As customers, we would have preferred to receive either a warning or communication of the lack of goods that we would certainly have understood more than receiving something that we could not use. The second point you mentioned was the "grappa" glass that you have been using as wine glasses for more than 40 years. The fact that you have been serving it for a long time does not imply that wine should be served in glasses. The origin of wine in glasses in Italy was already present in ancient Rome. The glass is a special glass to best enjoy wine, I am certainly not doubting your expertise in the matter but as far as we are concerned the glass you use is not suitable for serving wine. The next point I would like to address is the shrimp. I wanted to let you know that we are aware that shrimp are eaten peeled. The dark part of the shrimp was inside the shrimp and not outside. We enjoyed the service and the place, but we highly disliked the food that was served to us, giving us reasons to give our own negative opinion. "Large portions" I find to be an exaggerated term for the portions that were served to us, we didn't leave anything, of course, because we don't like waste. We didn't like the taste because we found everything not very tasty, and, looking at the other reviews left we noticed that more people had this problem and you attacked each of them. We found the price very high since we ate in better restaurants with even better quality for lower prices. We are sorry if we judged the book by its cover, also because you had really given us a good first impression.

26/06/2025: Seeing the reviews, we expected to have a nice fish dinner with a view of the dock, but instead it was not like that at all. The restaurant is honestly very nice, very particular decor, especially the ceiling, with a beautiful terrace. The staff at the service are honestly very good, kind and friendly. The food was not to our liking, we ordered four first courses and a mixed fried food, in the seafood spaghetti in particular there was a shrimp with a shell that seemed to be eating wet bread crumbs all the other shrimp were small clean without shells (obviously frozen). In the mixed fried food there were shrimp that were black but not black because they were burnt but black because they went bad smelly and the fish was dry inside. We also ordered some house white wine that was brought to us hot the first time, which was immediately remedied by bringing us another fresh carafe but we drank it in the grappa glass? Shouldn't wine be served with a glass? I don't know. Asked for a straw for the drink you brought us a mignon straw bah maybe you like small things🤣 Price more than expensive for this quality and quantity you offer, paid €28.50 per person.

04/05/2025: We had a very good time at this property. The room assigned to us has been revised in its furnishings even if it retains a slightly dated structure but in the end the beds are comfortable, it is clean and nothing is missing, fridge, hairdryer, TV. Excellent location both from the center and from the beaches. Breakfast is a very abundant buffet, dinner is à la carte or a fixed price menu of 25 or 30 euros. The only flaw is that the courses chosen from these menus are always the same.

29/05/2025: Located on the promenade that passes behind the beach establishments, it offers a nice atmosphere as it is possible to eat inside the restaurant, on the sea side or on the opposite side that overlooks a small square and the shopping street So as far as the location is concerned, it can be said to be excellent, too bad, but this applies to most of the restaurants in the area, the view of the sea is blocked by the bathroom cabins. For food, we opted for two non-consecutive evenings for the special menu that is offered at 19 euros. A first course and a second course with side dish, glass of wine or water, I remember if coffee is also included With service it goes around 22 euros per person. The choice of this menu is reduced to two choices of first courses and second courses, for the first course, pasta with squid ink and seafood sauce is better than simple ravioli. The special menu is well displayed, but then you have to ask at the table as they tend not to offer it. As for the à la carte menu, it reflects the costs of other restaurants. So a good opportunity to eat in Alassio at a reasonable price
