24/04/2025: Exquisite food, beautiful and unique place, very kind staff and everyone left there happy, both omnivores and vegans!

17/04/2025: We stopped for lunch during the week between appointments, and all I can say is "why didn't we try this sooner!" We ate very well, the place was intimate and welcoming, furnished with style; excellent quality food, with the possibility of choosing vegetarian and vegan dishes, and trying things you've never heard of before like yannoh, which is highly appreciated among other things. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

19/04/2025: We were passing through this town in western Liguria, we were expecting a simple dinner and instead the dining room staff surprised us with a 5-star service. Delicious pizza and fish, recommended 🔝

15/04/2025: We ate for lunch on Sunday, me, my husband and our 2 boys, an excellent choice on the menu, attentive, friendly and competent staff but the food........ deserves a hello, it's been a long time since we ate dishes so different from the usual, very fresh ingredients and absolutely all delicious!!!!!! Super recommended!!!!!!!!!

18/04/2025: Awesome dinner .. the seabream cooked perfectly.. just flaked off easily.. and the pesto pasta … so creamy & delicious! Love that it is not overly seasoned! And our server was superb ! We prefer red even though we’re having fish . Instead of giving us just any bottle of wine, She went to the expert (her manager) l for a rec ! a perfect pairing !

02/04/2025: One random Sunday evening you park in the basement near Colombo's house and search on Google for "typical Genoese cuisine". A thousand thousand red dots light up, all with at least 4 stars and dozens (hundreds!) of reviews. Ok, you can't go wrong, "ndo cojo cojo", it's starting to be 9pm and it's chilly, there's no need to go too far, so we'll stop here, after reading the menu on the notice board. We enter this mini maze of stairs and rooms (in the end there are 2 but there and then you get lost for a moment and Zena knows, make room where you can) and we sit down. In the meantime, a family from Bologna who they had met shortly before enters from the... er... window, also looking for a place to have dinner. Warm furnishings, almost in modernized poor art, which encourage conviviality. Out of the menu on a walking blackboard... Menu apparently printed with one of the first inkjets that didn't use sheets of paper with holes in the sides, but that's not certain. Dishes? Various, real and fairly typical, with a decent offer even for celiacs. Let's start with delicious fried artichokes, then I won't put a photo of the mandillos, which are culinary porpoise, together with a cod and a dessert each. Portions rather in line with modern taverns. Why not 5 stars then? -The tiramisu seemed without eggs, but with whipped cream and mascarpone. I like it but... I think many would object. The honest Neapolitan pastiera. -Friendly service but a little slow and imprecise - The toilets need to be revised. Absolutely. We would need a fix to the doors that squeak like the worst low-grade horror films and... Well they don't even close properly! Ventilation to be redone It wouldn't take much to....

21/04/2025: I am diabetic, my mother is in my disposition on the table, I have a very large hypoglycémie and I am now allowed to recover with my disposition, the serve (with very good court and percing) is coming to attack me without wanting to wait until the 5th sugar here It was in this way that I could explain that he was diabetic and that he needed to eat his meat immediately and insult me ​​in Italian. JE DÉCONSEILLE STRONGLY I'm diabetic, the sugar was available on the table, I had a huge hypoglycemia and so it allowed me to re-sugerate myself with the sugar made available, the waitress (with short hair and piercings) came to attack me, telling me why I had taken the 5 sugars that were on the plate, I explained to her that I'm diabetic and that I needed to eat the sugar immediately, she insulted me in Italian. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

21/04/2025: We booked for the first time at this restaurant, on Easter Sunday because it had been mentioned with good reviews. I must say that the dishes were good and well presented but nothing more. Unfortunately, I found the service a bit slow and messy. In addition, they come and store other customers' strollers behind you and without apologizing. But, the most shocking thing was when paying, we paid for a 1L bottle of sparkling water "20 euros"😱 as expensive as my gnocchi dish. I hope at least the water was blessed 😡and will work miracles. I just found it scandalous. And given the slow service we went to have dessert elsewhere. Personally, I was disappointed with this restaurant, the quality of the service compared to the prices it displays. In summary: I do not recommend this establishment.

11/04/2025: The location is truly perfect and evocative. A welcome that I was no longer used to: kind, attentive, warm and respectful. The presentations, especially the starters, were beautiful. Real flavors and perfect combinations. We will return with pleasure.

06/03/2025: There are lots of things to enjoy about this restaurant. The tiny terrace overlooking the sea, the thoughtfully composed plates artistically arranged and presented, the sparkling Pinot Nero bianco we chose to open our palettes as the first strains of dinner started to arrive. As a party of seven, we were able to taste most of the menu. Standouts were the rabbit in porchetta and a fun textural take on beef tartare where ponzu truly shone. To finish, the rosemary creme brûlée was ideal.

28/04/2025: I gave my parents a dinner at "The Cook" restaurant, carefully choosing a specific tasting menu, mainly based on fish, present on the restaurant's website. The experience was a special gift and, considering the significant expense (around 400 euros for two people), I expected the agreed menu to be respected. With great regret I discovered that, at the time of dinner (last Friday), the menu had been completely changed, without any warning. Even today, on the restaurant's official website, the menu I had chosen months ago is online, which can easily mislead those who want to give a precise experience with attention to detail, as in my case. However, I would like to underline that my parents were very satisfied with the quality of the dinner they received, the refined environment and the attentive and professional service. However, I believe it is incorrect and not very transparent not to update the online menu or, at least, not to notify the customer of any changes, especially in a high-end restaurant context where expectations - rightly - are very high. A good experience overall, but with a bitter initial disappointment that could have easily been avoided with a little more clarity.

05/03/2025: Couple avec deux enfants en bas âge, nous avons été très bien accueillis alors que nous n'avions même pas réservé. Très bel accueil et en français ! Restaurant kids friendly avec chaise haute et un accueil très chaleureux. La cuisine est délicieuse. Nous y serions bien revenus si notre séjour était plus long. Notre grand de trois ans a même terminé son assiette de pâtes ! N'hésitez pas. 1 entrée, 2 plats de pâtes, 1 plat enfant, 2 desserts, 1 bière : 90 €
