17/03/2025: Hands down the best focaccia in Sestri! Very good! Plus, it's well stocked with pizzas, various sizes and toppings, focaccias, savory pies, sandwiches and more! Everything is so good! Ah, for those who complain about the prices: they are displayed very clearly, if you think it's expensive you don't buy, period, and not that you complain....

31/07/2025: A traditional, historic restaurant in Savona. Farinata (a typical Ligurian dish made with chickpea flour, oil, and water) is delicious and home-cooked, very well-cooked. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: The place is nice; we dined in the garden. The service was courteous. It's unclear why you have to order the farinata in twos or multiples of two, but it was good. We also had fried anchovies. They were definitely good, but the portion was about 10 anchovies and cost 16 euros. Definitely too much.

When we got up, the employee terrorized us to pour the 7 euro expensive beer into a plastic cup. Also, we should pay immediately, because he sees that we are dissatisfied and is afraid that we will hang around.

21/04/2025: I ordered a pizza focaccia and they brought me raw and rubbery stuff, with terrible olives, not even a pinch of salt, oregano, nothing... Anything could have done better. I told them and they even justified themselves at the bar, saying that that was their product, that it was even cooked to be like that. And this focaccia was also expensive, given how bad it was. A disaster, they didn't even apologize

01/08/2025: Stunning, beautiful location. We had a great time. The waitresses were very helpful and friendly, the owners were very kind, and the food was excellent and high-quality. I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful experience.

23/06/2025: Non voglio fare una recensione suggestiva ma onesta per cui, a chi legge, vorrei chiedere: quanto pensi di dover pagare due piatti di trofie col pesto, una bottiglia d'acqua, due calici di vino locale e due caffè? Datti una risposta e poi pensa che noi abbiamo pagato 60€. Ora, archiviata la questione economica (che credo giustifichi ampiamente il titolo della recensione), passiamo a quella gastronomica. La pasta era buona. Per essere precisa, come quella che farei a casa ma mettendoci la metà del pesto. Con la sincerità che ha contraddistinto sinora questo feedback, va detto che il servizio è stato celere e cortese. La cameriera (che non so se sia anche la proprietaria) è stata gentilissima, non invadente, ci ha consigliato il vino in modo simpatico e cordiale. Le consiglio di fare un'esame di coscienza e rivedere i prezzi (nel caso in cui fosse la titolare) oppure di aprire un locale suo (nel caso in cui fosse una dipendente) perché ci sa fare! Nonostante ciò, il verdetto è chiaro: locale assolutamente sconsigliato.

07/08/2025: A beautiful place, but unfortunately, given the "standing" it aims to maintain, it falls short in some respects, specifically in the following areas: - Tables in the gazebos with rust spots - Side curtains on the gazebo partially missing. - Dirty/stained sun lounger mattress (we asked for it to be replaced, and it was promptly replaced with apologies for the inconvenience). - Bathroom hygiene needs updating (lack of toilet paper in the women's bathroom and cleanliness needs improving). In my opinion, the price paid doesn't match what's offered. Considering that the price for 5 hours (from 2 pm to 7 pm) is €137, I would have expected greater quality and attention to service. It wouldn't take much, especially considering the number of gazebos (28), to make this beach truly the "gem" and most exclusive beach in Santa Margherita, as advertised. I'd also like to point out that we purchased a thermal water bottle. It's very nice looking, sporting the bathroom logo, but it doesn't keep the water cold at all, even though it was guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase. (Please avoid making any comments without first having verified your claims, to avoid disappointment.) Regarding the restaurant, since we didn't eat there, I can't express any opinion, but having read the dishes offered and given the location, I feel compelled to give a positive review. Another positive note was the receptionist, who demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. P.S.: I've changed my rating from 3 to 2 stars because I'd like to point out that after just 12 days, the thermal water bottle has rust spots on both the cap and the inside (as shown in the photo). This is absurd; it's unsafe to use, as you risk drinking rust.

01/08/2025: This year, like last year, we chose this beach resort for its proximity to home and the gazebos, but we discovered at the start of the season that the management had changed. We immediately had problems with bookings: we therefore decided to start with a week, from Monday, June 30th to Sunday, and this already created problems because the weekly stay, for which we had been asked to pay €1,250 in advance, could not be made due to the different rates between the months of June and July. Therefore, we immediately paid €1,400 for the Monday of June and the week from Tuesday to the following Monday (July). Unfortunately, due to force majeure (bad weather), we lost three days of the booked period, so my husband asked the manager if we could make up the days on other days. He was told that we could only make up two, and although we didn't fully agree, we accepted (at €200 per day). When we rebooked for the two-day make-up session, we were told we were only booking one day, not two. At that point, we replied that we wouldn't be willing to negotiate like in a Marrakech souk, and that in a €200-a-day establishment, customers deserve a service that's proportionate and worthy of the price they pay. Bottom line: three paid days wasted and service subpar due to incompetence and a lack of professionalism, but above all, lost customers.

05/08/2025: The pizza is good, but they're providing completely incorrect information about wait times. Reading the other reviews, it makes me think they're lying knowingly. "How long is the wait?" "20 minutes" - you order and pay IN ADVANCE- 40 minutes later, the pizzas are still listed as "in line"; nothing else is known. If you hadn't already paid, you'd cancel your order and go elsewhere. The suspicion of fraud is hard to rule out; in any case, the service was terrible.

17/07/2025: Incredible moment ! The Lady was really Kind , even with out speaking well english she was able to communicate easily with us . And the food was amazing !

05/07/2025: We had read the comments about the “rude” service but the food being very good and we decided to try it. Upon our arrival, we realized it was only a lady and her husband running the shop and that everything was homemade. The lady at the counter was a bit cold but not rude at all, she didn’t really speak and after a few minutes we ordered. We watched her meticulously make the pasta like an Italian nona cooking at home. We had a bottle of wine and asked if we could use her bottle opener which she accepted with a polite smile. That’s when we realized the reason she wasn’t speaking was probably because she didn’t really speak English. We used google translate to tell her that the pasta looked amazing and she thanked us with the warmest sincere smile! I think people misjudge her and she is actually very very sweet! For the pasta, it was absolutely incredible. We took 4 different sauces and all of them had their own unique flavours! It was the best pasta we’ve ever had. It was very affordable too! An absolute must in Riomaggiore! Thank you for the delicious meal :)

02/11/2024: Pizza di ottima qualità. Cottura in forno a legna. Servizio attento e veloce. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze : una alle melanzane e una ortolana in questo locale "storico" di Cogoleto, dove non andavo da quasi trent'anni! Ne avevo però un ottimo ricordo di gioventù e non posso che confermare l' esperienza positiva anche a tutt'oggi! Sicuramente torneremo !

19/10/2024: Prezzi alti, ingiustificati, soprattutto per la qualità a dir poco scarsa, per mia fortuna mi sono limitata ad un antipasto: bresaola con rucola e formaggio: fettine di bresaola che più spesse non si può "nervose" tanto da rendere difficile la masticazione, (e vi assicuro ho un' ottima dentatura), una manciata di rucola e fettine di formaggio scadente non certo scaglie di Parmigiano, il tutto potevi condirlo a tuo piacere con olio in BUSTINE. Da bere se vuoi del vino, ti devi accontentare di un buon vino scadente altrimenti hai la possibilità di scegliere un calice al prezzo aggiuntivo di 6 o 8€. Praticamente un antipasto, come quello descritto,e un calice di vino 28€.

10/08/2025: This is a wonderful location and the service was fantastic. San Fruttuoso can feel a bit crowded so coming to this restaurant was a nice escape from the madness. The dishes are diverse and the wine fantastic. I will continue to come back here. Bravo

09/08/2025: The pasta was just okay and the portion was on the smaller side. The seafood pasta was the biggest let-down — lots of bits and shells, and the largest shrimp was completely empty. Prices feel high for what you get, though to be fair, there aren’t many other places to eat in the area. And they brought bread to the table, which was later added to the bill, even though we didn’t order it.
