02/06/2025: Het restaurantje zat vlakbij onze B&B en we hadden de 1e avond geen zin om ver weg te gaan. Hier hadden we geen spijt van. Het eten was simpel maar ontzettend goed. De bediening echt super vriendelijk, snel en met een lach. De moeite waard!

16/06/2025: The food was ok, the main problem is that my friends and I (there were 6 of us) decided to pay the Roman way and the owner decided to overcharge us by €2 each without telling us anything (we realised this later), at least he could have offered us a coffee or let us know if he really wanted to make the bill round.

07/07/2025: Everything was excellent and well cooked. I took dishes and not pizza. The only complaint is that for a plate of seafood linguine for €20 I would have honestly expected more fish (5 clams, 2 mussels, a scampi and a bit of squid scattered around) and the size of a classic soup plate seemed a bit small for the price. In any case, very good.

29/06/2025: we went to this place for dinner. We wanted to taste the famous local pesto but we were very disappointed. The pesto tasted of NOTHING. We asked for explanations and very kindly they remade the dish but the situation did not change. They explained to us that it is their very delicate recipe. Well maybe too much. 2 stars because the grilled tuna we tasted was good.

24/01/2025: At Christmas they gave us one of your panettone as a gift and it was nothing short of sublime, so we decided to drive more than an hour to come and meet you and taste other products.....ahhh what a beautiful Sunday! We brought home a sacher for my birthday... speechless, mum, how delicious! Truly many many compliments on exceptional products! See you soon, I haven't finished tasting!

13/07/2025: Good pizzas and nice young waiters, but terrible acoustics inside the restaurant and the owner scolds the young employees and messes with the service and generally seems very angry. A bit too long a wait for both ordering and food delivery.

Even though I have been going there for many years, I have unfortunately had to recently encounter a decrease in the courses that can be ordered, in the sense of a smaller choice of options available (only two first courses, only two second courses/side dishes, etc. etc.). It is also a good idea, especially if you are a foreigner, to keep in mind that the workers' menu is not always available, and not for everyone, given that we, for example, despite not having had anything special for lunch, were charged for everything, including water, à la carte (with prices that were in any case absolutely acceptable and not incongruous, given that the food was genuine and cooked by hand). Service a little rushed and sometimes summary. The restaurant has few seats, so it is advisable, even if there are only a few of you, to book.

03/07/2025: Questa Antica Osteria è un piccolo gioiellino nel cuore di Genova che consiglierei a tutte le persone che stanno visitando la città per la prima volta e vogliono provare la vera Cucina Ligure, ma va bene anche per una cena intima o con amici. Pochi piatti, semplici, e della tradizione ma trattati con estrema cura e materie prime di alta qualità. Il localino è piccolo, molto curato, l'accoglienza è stata calorosa da parte dei proprietari che tengono in alta considerazione il cliente e a farlo sentire a proprio agio. Io credo che questo debba uno punti forti delle Osterie e i ragazzi ci hanno trattato davvero bene e sono stati molto cordiali, ma adesso passiamo al cibo! Abbiamo preso un antipasto da dividere in due, baccalà e cuculli, due primi: gnocchi con pesce spada e funghi, le immancabili trofie col pesto genovese e due secondi: polpo alla brace e fritto misto di pesce. Tutto assolutamente ottimo e freschissimo. Ci hanno stupito i fritti, squisiti e di una crocantezza unica. Menzione speciale per le trofiette al pesto che ci sono rimaste nel cuore e il polpo alla brace, fenomenale! ♡♡
