04/07/2025: I was at Locanda Marinai a few nights ago and I was amazed. It is one of those places that stays in your heart. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Alessandra, the dining room manager, super kind, smiling and always present. She gave us passionate advice, as if we were guests in her home. I started with mussels alla marinara.. delicious! Then I moved on to spaghetti with clams and then finished with a panna cotta that left me speechless. But beyond the food, what makes this place special is the atmosphere, Bordighera Alta in the evening is a dream.

04/07/2025: Dinner on Saturday 28 June fast service, kind and helpful waiting staff. Very good appetizers cod fritters and hazelnut breaded anchovies, for the first pesto with slightly floury potatoes while the spaghetti with clams (tasty) a little too greasy for my taste, average tiramisu. Good house Pigato wine, industrial bread, very long espresso coffee undrinkable for me. Fairly fair price. "Ballet" chairs not the most comfortable.

14/05/2025: Great bar with really good cocktails at fair prices. I particularly enjoyed the Italian-inspired cocktails.

03/05/2025: Dinner organized for charity. The dishes served and the service itself were related to the occasion and therefore difficult to evaluate whether this was always the case. The trendy place, soft but not too much lighting, wall of wines, radical chic cellar tables. Overall good but worth trying again.

05/06/2025: In the heart of Chiavari's historic center, under the city's suggestive arcades, Farina 44 stands out as one of the most interesting pizzerias in the area. The proposal is gourmet, taken care of in the smallest details, and leaves room for the choice between a dough with a high crust, softer and airier, and a version with a low crust, crunchy and thin: both excellent. There were two of us: we both took the low version, delicious and light, the person with me really appreciated the possibility of ordering a pizza with lactose-free mozzarella, a detail not obvious but very welcome for those with intolerances. I chose a pizza with stracciatella and raw ham, really well balanced in flavors, with superior quality ingredients. The environment is well-kept and welcoming, both inside and outside. But what makes Farina 44 an experience to remember is the hospitality: the waiters Carlo and Valentina were impeccable, attentive and friendly, with that genuine kindness that really makes the difference. A special shout-out goes to the owner and dining room manager, Stefano: professional, passionate, and always ready to recommend a good wine or craft beer to pair with pizza. The selection of drinks is in fact wide and well-studied, including draft options and niche bottles. Farina 44 is not just a pizzeria, but a place where you can feel at home, pampered by a team that puts their heart into what they do. Highly recommended

12/05/2025: A true pearl set at the foot of the beigua. Excellent food, presented with skill, kindness and courtesy. Cheerful atmosphere that takes you back to the past. Absolutely worth trying, from appetizer to dessert, a riot of flavours.

24/06/2025: We go caught in a summer storm, desperate for somewhere to eat, and everywhere was full. The owners told us we could wait for a table and brought us chairs to wait. And even some cheese and bread to eat while we waited with a glass of wine. A table eventually became free and we were seated immediately and the food was spectacular. The host were warm and friendly and it had a really cute family run vibe. The muscles were beautiful and so was the fritto misto and the pasta vongole. We will definitely be back.

20/06/2025: It would be worth the visit just for "His Majesty the Cappon Magro": tasty, balanced, well presented and with an excellent warm scampi and an equally good prawn. Bravo chef! But both the spaghetti with lupini beans and bottarga and the tagliatelle with saffron and calamari ragù were excellent, cooked to perfection (and plentiful). The glass of white wine was also excellent (and plentiful): I wanted a Pigato, but since they didn't have an open bottle they counter-proposed me a Sharis Luvio Felluga, a winery of absolute excellence. Needless to say about the view: terrace and windows overlooking the transparent sea. And absolutely honest prices

From the starter to the dessert everything was excellent. Wine and grappa lived up to expectations. Must try!!!

03/05/2025: Ottima focacceria con grande varietà di focacce e farinata super! Siamo stati tre giorni a Genova in famiglia e per tre giorni abbiamo deliziato il palato con la loro farinata e le focacce. Il personale è gentile e simpatico. Hanno anche delle ottime birre artigianali.

22/04/2025: Very good focaccia but equally good farinata. Finally a light farinata cooked well and without being drowned in oil.
