14/12/2025: This isn't our first time eating at this restaurant in Genzano, and as always, our expectations were exceeded. This time, we ordered two main courses: pork fillet with porcini mushrooms (delicious) and lamb marinated in wine vinegar. It's a must-try, top-notch. Highly recommended, as always.

13/11/2025: The first courses were forgettable (truly mediocre tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, overcooked pasta, and mushrooms, even though they were labeled as frozen, flavorless, and added carelessly). The roast suckling pig was good but nothing exceptional. The wines, both white and red, were average, and the desserts (ricotta and pear tart) were average. I was a guest, so I didn't know what to expect.

Despite its small size, the space has been carefully and thoughtfully organized, showcasing the historic walls of the main dining room. The menu is pre-set, and at a fair price, you'll find many delicious, seasonal dishes (I recommend checking out their social media pages). Finally, the desserts are not disappointing, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. However, what truly makes this restaurant special is the staff: friendly, welcoming, and always available to offer advice and make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it; you'll find an authentic and charming atmosphere.

29/01/2026: Found it by chance on social media and it was a pleasant discovery. We had an aperitif unlike any other, with exceptional meatballs à la I want to be a child again at my grandmother's house. All in a quiet atmosphere with soft music to accompany an evening with friends, and the owners, two delightful people, guide you through the gastronomic journey they offer. We will definitely be back.

01/02/2026: Last night I had dinner at a pizzeria: excellent food, impeccable and punctual service. But what really matters is not what I ate, but who I shared the evening with. Until a few years ago, we were complete strangers; I didn't even know they existed. Yet, thanks to God and the Gospel of Christ, today we are part of the same spiritual family. We love each other, we support each other, and we share our testimonies of life experiences, with sincerity and gratitude. This is the greatness of God: he unites what the world divides, creates bonds where there was once emptiness, gives brothers and sisters where there were strangers. The world doesn't see this, because it is blinded by material things: everything is bought, everything is sold, everything has a price. But God's love doesn't. God's love is free, pure, eternal. I experienced an unforgettable evening with my brothers in Christ, and the world can never offer this. May God help us cherish these moments and always walk in His light. ❤️

31/01/2026: This is a restaurant I've been coming to at least a couple of times a year for several years. I'll start with the positives: The food is very good regardless of what you order (appetizers, meat, pizza, pasta); the prices, in my opinion, are fair for the quality; the place is charming. One flaw: the service is always a bit slow and confusing. Tonight, however, something happened that had never happened to me before (not even at other restaurants): I brought a birthday cake and the waiters ate a good portion of it (obviously without asking) and then, embarrassed, confessed when we asked for more. So, admittedly, I appreciate the apology. Certainly, some mistakes can be made due to inexperience (waiters tend to be young). However, the important thing would be to try to compensate for the unpleasantness, perhaps with a nice discount. In the end, they took €4 off our total bill. So I was really disappointed. I'm really sorry about what happened. My parents also decided to leave a tip... I didn't agree, but whatever. Anyway, I'm so disappointed and I don't think I'll be back. Too bad.

18/12/2025: The pizza is good, it's a shame that before entering I didn't find anything written anywhere that they don't use wheat flour.

01/01/2026: I almost stumbled upon this bakery by accident, but it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and smiling, something you should never underestimate. The pizza dough I ordered was excellent!

02/11/2025: We stopped in Genzano and, while having dinner at Mascelloni, asked for breakfast the next day. They recommended the Belardi pastry shop. We were surprised by the deliciousness and quality. We'd never had such delicious maritozzi (with freshly whipped cream).

31/01/2026: This is a strange review... So I'm giving it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead of a 3 or 5 for a few reasons. The place is very small, but precisely for that reason, it's a delightful little gem. Decorated with recycled items, which make it warm and friendly. The menu, however, is a bit limited due to the limited space, as is the wine selection, but hey, who's satisfied? We ordered BRUSCHETTE with Porcini Mushrooms, GOOD!! Two first courses... served in cute little pans. Mine was good, although the wild boar was a bit dry. My partner's was too garlicky, and she was forced to leave it (what a shame 😞) Few seats and very reasonable prices. The property is pleasant. The rating is therefore a combination of all these features, which obviously cannot compare it to a restaurant with 100 seats and a large kitchen or spacious wine bar. 05/11/2025: It's not a pastry shop... It's a dream! Their sweet treats made me look great at my son's birthday party. I recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic artisan pastry shop like the ones they used to make... TOP!

10/12/2025: A high-end restaurant with very affordable prices, located on one of Genzano's most iconic streets. It offers both traditional dishes and truly interesting reinterpretations. Everything, from appetizers to dessert, is meticulously prepared. The wine list is extensive, the service excellent, and the location is also unique.

26/11/2025: Excellent service and excellent food! The waiter recommended an excellent wine to accompany our dinner; since they're also a wine bar, they have a wide selection. Everything was delicious, highly recommended!

20/10/2025: By far the best bar/cafe in Genzano. Always packed. They have a pastry with walnuts that I've never seen before in Lazio. Quite delicious.
