14/12/2025: This isn't our first time eating at this restaurant in Genzano, and as always, our expectations were exceeded. This time, we ordered two main courses: pork fillet with porcini mushrooms (delicious) and lamb marinated in wine vinegar. It's a must-try, top-notch. Highly recommended, as always.
13/11/2025: The first courses were forgettable (truly mediocre tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, overcooked pasta, and mushrooms, even though they were labeled as frozen, flavorless, and added carelessly). The roast suckling pig was good but nothing exceptional. The wines, both white and red, were average, and the desserts (ricotta and pear tart) were average. I was a guest, so I didn't know what to expect.

29/11/2025: We were there last night... spectacular place and very unique in every detail... excellent food, we had the pizza, delicious to say the least... I highly recommend it.

31/12/2025: A true historic gem in the heart of Genzano, a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Despite its small size, the space has been carefully and thoughtfully organized, showcasing the historic walls of the main dining room.
The menu is pre-set, and at a fair price, you'll find many delicious, seasonal dishes (I recommend checking out their social media pages). Finally, the desserts are not disappointing, with a variety of options to suit all tastes.
However, what truly makes this restaurant special is the staff: friendly, welcoming, and always available to offer advice and make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it; you'll find an authentic and charming atmosphere.

29/01/2026: Found it by chance on social media and it was a pleasant discovery. We had an aperitif unlike any other, with exceptional meatballs à la I want to be a child again at my grandmother's house. All in a quiet atmosphere with soft music to accompany an evening with friends, and the owners, two delightful people, guide you through the gastronomic journey they offer.
We will definitely be back.

21/02/2026: A pleasant evening with friends. I enjoyed their magnificent patatosa, chicken with chicory, pine nuts, and raisins, and a ricotta dessert. Everything was delicious, but the patatosa was truly amazing!

02/11/2025: We stopped in Genzano and, while having dinner at Mascelloni, asked for breakfast the next day. They recommended the Belardi pastry shop. We were surprised by the deliciousness and quality. We'd never had such delicious maritozzi (with freshly whipped cream).

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, I've become addicted to their coconut milk cappuccino, and I don't know how to get out of it. And every time, I get stuck with their tramezzini, always fresh and REALLY good.
A huge selection of everything, and everything's delicious. Not to mention the people who work there, who are infinitely grateful to have this bar so close by 🥺❤️

07/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant and were very pleased. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening. Eric is always extremely kind and professional. The dishes were beautifully presented and prepared, and, as always, the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. It's now a regular stop in Genzano.
10/12/2025: A high-end restaurant with very affordable prices, located on one of Genzano's most iconic streets. It offers both traditional dishes and truly interesting reinterpretations. Everything, from appetizers to dessert, is meticulously prepared. The wine list is extensive, the service excellent, and the location is also unique.

22/02/2026: My partner, my son, and I had lunch today. The welcome was very friendly, but the food was mind-blowingly good value. An appetizer on a board with a couple of slices of cold cuts each (ham, mortadella, loin, salami), a bowl of ricotta, and a slice of mortadella each, cooked on the grill, cost €45. Then the first courses arrived, no comment... the ingredients were low-quality... we basically got up, paid the €95 bill, and ran away. There was just something to discuss, but given the small place and the people who were eating, I preferred to leave. I won't add anything else, even if there is something to say...
16/02/2026: A family Sunday... This is what my partner and I spent yesterday in this magical little corner. It was our first time, but with the owners, it was as if we had known each other for years. Hospitality, friendliness, and a very characteristic atmosphere. The food? Well, even though we had just had breakfast, we didn't miss a thing, from the superlative appetizer (made with quality products), to the homemade pasta with flavorful yet delicate wild boar ragù, to the Roman braciola. And then what do you do? Not having a dessert? That amaretto semifreddo... truly TOP. We'll make sure to be in the area some other time, because we know where to stop. See you soon
