08/07/2025: Everything was excellent, maybe because Tuesdays aren't as crowded as the weekends, but the meat was divine, the staff were always attentive, friendly, and helpful, the wait times were reasonable, and the bill was fair. The house-made bread and cover charge were free, and there were many types of meat, all excellent quality. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: I stayed for 2 days on the occasion of a trip to Latin lands, I had a good time, excellent location a stone's throw from the sea, I ate very well and the service was also excellent.

It's not the first time that it happens to me in different places, I've always eaten meat and I know it well. It's not a question of aging or particular flavor of foreign meats, but rather of poorly preserved meat. Strong smell also felt at the next table, the diners at the table turn around and confirm that their meat (different cut) had the same smell and flavor. Obviously, as every time I kindly point it out, we are told that it is the type of meat... basically, the same story everywhere... more cuts of different types had the taste and smell of rotten meat... but oh well, maybe I'm crazy... To be precise, we are talking about the Brazilian cut that was supposed to be accompanied by Palmito... of which not even a shadow... Bread missing... Too bad because the fillet with truffle and the parmigiana are worth it, ruining yourself like this is a shame In the meantime, I'm walking around Gaeta at midnight looking for an open pizzeria after a day of fasting...

24/06/2025: Quite busy, always with a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Very fresh and well cooked fish, excellent fried food, clean and tasty. The first courses are abundant and tasty, the seafood is really good, both fresh and cooked. Fast service and the plastic bucket with ice to keep drinks cool is beautiful

14/06/2025: Very large central establishment along the Serapo beach, with a good restaurant (I attach a photo). The only flaw is the slightly high prices for June. €30 for an umbrella and two sun loungers from 12.30pm and €54 for two for an appetizer, two first courses, water and coffee.

19/06/2025: I was disappointed by 1) service: only one person serving the tables, also in charge of clearing, a lot of confusion and waiting. I ordered a first course called 2) the first courses: I had the impression that they had cooked the pasta separately and then poured the various sauces over it. So the pasta and the sauce were not creamy enough to taste them.

17/06/2025: I had been to this restaurant 6 years ago and I wanted to go back because I had a good memory of it: fish dishes cooked in a simple, tasty way at a reasonable price but apparently everything has changed FOR THE WORSE!!! Starting from the inattentive, confused and disorganized service as there was only one lady with a stressed look (it was probably the same owner who serves and takes orders for all the tables). The fried calamari only which was nothing more than a modest cuoppo placed on a plastic plate for the price of €15! The sore point concerns the 2 first courses... both spaghetti but with different condiments, which tasted of nothing, except spaghetti in white sauce and garlic! Basically they had cooked the spaghetti and only threw in the clams at the end, one of them, the crab, without mixing anything... there was no condiment, no sauce, they were dry... at that price? Paying €20 and €28 for spaghetti that only tastes of garlic, I'll make it myself at home... If I hadn't insisted 3 times during and at the end of the meal to have them bring me the tongs to break the crab claws, to this day, I would still be sitting there waiting to eat the crab...

07/07/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and they served us after an hour. We ordered: octopus with potatoes (very salty), a slice of sea bass with sauce (still raw) and fried calamari rings, the only dish that could be eaten. The owner was fair in not charging us anything.

06/07/2025: magnificent place, the brothers who run the place are very nice and welcoming, delicious food, I recommend the chocolate mousse with apricot as a dessert. we will definitely return

03/07/2025: I returned to Lido Oriente, after 3 years with my nephew. I can confirm everything I had already written some time ago: the availability of the unmatched staff, the umbrellas arranged in a perfect way to have air even at the back and the restaurant's proposals varied, inviting and delicious (the fried fish is crazy). I had not noticed, some time ago, that there is also a very nice children's play area, but, above all, the mini club service which is top.

01/07/2025: I came with my parents and mother-in-law to escape the city heat. I was pleased to note that the beach was easily accessible for people with mobility difficulties and that the lifeguards had special consideration for children and the less young. We had lunch at the restaurant, where everything was very good, especially the appetizers. I must emphasize that the staff is not only knowledgeable, even in recommending the right wine for each dish, but also proved to be very patient and kind in managing our last-minute requests. 17/07/2025: Absolutely YES! The burger was juicy, tender, and flavorful, accompanied by a sliced bun plated in the burger's own juices. But the highlight was undoubtedly the double whiskey smash sandwich. It was AWESOME! The selection of bread for the sandwich was truly excellent. Rating 10

23/06/2025: This is my first negative review... unfortunately everything was tasteless from the mixed fish appetizer to the pasta with clams in white sauce. In response to yours: I'm not arguing but you got the wrong person. At 8:15 pm I had already had dinner and paid and without asking for discounts. That's all!

14/06/2025: The atmosphere was truly heartwarming – it felt like being welcomed into a family’s home. The chef seemed to read our minds and knew exactly what dish we wanted, even though it wasn’t on the menu. The food was outstanding, and the price was even better. We enjoyed delicious house wine at a surprisingly low cost. All in all, an unforgettable experience that combined warmth, intuition, and incredible flavors.

15/07/2025: Embarrassing. We and another couple were waiting for 50+ minutes for a simple order while the guests were coming and going. On top of that, the lady working there was unpleasant and rude when we voiced our dissatisfaction. Although the food is decent, I would not recommend going there.

06/06/2025: A great, modern restaurant/cafe with really beautifully planted outdoor area. 👌👌 We ate excellently there today / 06.06. /7:00 PM. Very tasty spaghetti carbonara) and were served in an exemplary manner by the young waiter. He did an attentive and first-class job - Bravo 👍! We recommend a visit and will gladly come back.
