26/12/2025: The strong point of this historic bar is definitely its location. The location is strategic, and the tables are arranged so that the sun always shines warmly in the winter, and there's a lovely awning to protect you from the summer heat!
The family that runs it has been there for decades, and their desire to continue serving well-made coffee, to locals and tourists alike, makes the service its other strong point.

24/01/2026: A magnificent, well-stocked wine shop where you can find some truly exquisite wines and spirits. The prices are very fair, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and available to answer any questions. It deserves 5 stars and more. Enoteca perBacco has become my go-to place.
01/09/2025: In a city where signs and shops change at a seasonal pace, Per Bacco remains a landmark in the area and, I believe, beyond. Welcoming and well-maintained, it boasts a large cellar that satisfies all tastes and needs, and, above all, the professionalism, expertise, and kindness of the owner and his assistant. A place where you still feel like a local and where it's always a pleasure to stop by.

29/12/2025: The restrooms are dirty. The hand dryer is dirty and broken, so there are no disposable towels available. I ordered inedible baked potatoes, seasoned with reused frying oil. The burgers were of extremely poor quality. At the cashier, instead of apologizing, they charged us for the three portions of rotten baked potatoes. I absolutely do not recommend this place, and don't bring children.
27/12/2025: Polite staff, even though we arrived at closing time, were very kind and allowed us to sit anyway.
Always very fast and excellent service.
Recommended.

02/03/2026: We went for dinner tonight. The place was well-kept, tidy, and clean. We were served by the very kind and helpful owner and hostess. The fish was fresh, and the prices were also reasonable considering the port location and the waterfront location. Thank you.

13/09/2025: I was walking along the street when I was enveloped by the scent of sweets... and to my surprise, I saw this workshop full of delicious creations. So far, I've enjoyed the filled shortcrust pastry (my favorite), and I have to admit, they're the best I've ever had in Gaeta! I'll definitely be back to try everything else.
28/08/2025: Drawn by the comments I read online, I decided to try these famous fried bombs. I went to Via dell'Indipendenza 79, where their small shop sells baked goods for breakfast (croissants, bombs, sfogliatelle, donuts, and various biscuits). I tried the bombs with custard...I expected more given the excellent reviews! The cream was sticky (probably made with flour as a thickener), and the dough was soft, but with a bland flavor. It's a shame, because you can see and taste that the production is fresh and artisanal. A little more attention to these small details and the 5-star rating is definitely within reach.

The views and beauty of the place speak for themselves, but what made it truly special were Giuseppe and his team, who also made my business easier by providing me with a quiet, beautiful place to work and take a dip in between calls! Thank you for being a home away from home!
28/09/2025: Says they are open on Sunday evening but they are not. Walked for no reason to the end of the town. Super annoying.

An experience worth repeating over and over again, and highly recommended to anyone looking for excellent food at an excellent price-quality ratio. The staff is always very kind and professional, and the atmosphere is always meticulously maintained, never compromising on the sense of familiarity, even with the customers themselves. Chef Davide is available to accommodate any request and takes great care, even with gluten-free dishes. Don't forget to try his Brownie Tiramisu after enjoying
his dishes, always prepared with love. Luana, Emiliano, and Alessandro.
01/01/2026: Terrible experience, unprofessional staff, questionable food quality, and exorbitant prices. As soon as we arrived, we found two bottles of water on the table, which looked obviously old and had already been opened, meaning they weren't sealed. Naturally, we didn't touch them throughout the meal, and when we reached the cashier, we reported this. We received a rude response, telling us that they're the ones who place them on the tables and open them, which is absolutely unhygienic. We ate two plates of gnocchi with cod for €20 each plus a €6 cover charge; the water was taken off our bill. I don't like giving bad reviews, but given the experience, I think it's fair to write what happened.
