13/10/2025: I've become a loyal customer. And who better than a loyal customer can tell you that this is THE BAR. From breakfast, to aperitifs, and all the way to lunch. Everything is excellent. The staff is wonderful. There's never a single time I've walked in and left without a smile. And then there's Diego, the owner; he deserves a separate review. He's great. In short, if you come to Gaeta and want a good breakfast, aperitif, etc., Caffè Cavour deserves to be called such, gentlemen, and you're right.

28/09/2025: A wonderful place with a truly fantastic welcome! I'm a digital nomad and spent many days here this summer in Gaeta! The views and beauty of the place speak for themselves, but what made it truly special were Giuseppe and his team, who also made my business easier by providing me with a quiet, beautiful place to work and take a dip in between calls! Thank you for being a home away from home!

28/09/2025: Says they are open on Sunday evening but they are not. Walked for no reason to the end of the town. Super annoying.

08/10/2025: The experience here is indescribable. Reginella is a true lady. The place is clean and they make delicious burgers, and the prices are fair for what you get. If you have the chance, you must try the tielle. Eating next to the lady on a chair in the alley was priceless.

05/09/2025: My husband and I had dinner together. We ate meat, a selection of cheeses, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious and of high quality. Excellent value for money. The service was fast and attentive. I highly recommend it.

I have to say, everything was 5-star, from the quality of the food (essential) to the service and your kindness, even in calling me back when I tried to call at lunchtime but you were closed. Well done! The dishes were beautifully plated, the portions were just right, the bread was excellent, and the homemade pasta was amazing. Kudos also for the "vodapiatto" (a typical dish-to-table presentation) here in Gaeta, but most restaurants aren't up to par, whereas yours was excellent. I'll be back soon to try other dishes.

02/10/2025: If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you! Delicious pizza, menus with a choice of fish or meat, and the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina sauce was simply perfect… a fantastic family business!

27/09/2025: An old-school trattoria pizzeria! The food is good at reasonable prices, with generous portions like in the old days, and an excellent chef from days gone by. Excellent, helpful, and friendly staff. I highly recommend it. You won't leave the harbor hungry like you do at other places!

10/10/2025: The sandwiches were delicious, but they ripped me off on the price: Three baskets of chips were €5 each; Two Cokes were €3 each. Everything else was pretty fair.

Welcoming and well-maintained, it boasts a large cellar that satisfies all tastes and needs, and, above all, the professionalism, expertise, and kindness of the owner and his assistant. A place where you still feel like a local and where it's always a pleasure to stop by.

13/10/2025: The restaurant isn't very big. The cuisine is seafood, with a few local dishes. The starter was really good, perhaps the best in Gaeta for me. The other dishes were average, but we didn't try the starters. The service could be improved. The red shrimp tartare had the fruit on top that was still frozen. Overall, it's worth a visit.

18/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and I agree with the positive reviews we'd read. Everything was perfect. Stefano is a very kind person and his professionalism made us feel at home. If you want to eat seafood and enjoy a beautiful view, I highly recommend it.

12/10/2025: Given the location and the view, it could be a fantastic place. It's a real shame they couldn't make two plates of pasta. They wanted to blame the problem on the seafood, but that was the only good thing... both were incredibly salty and inedible. It ruined both the mood and the meal. When it came to the bill, I expected at least a discount, even though that pasta wasn't even worth paying for... you could have said, "Guys, coffee's on us!" And shown a modicum of remorse, but no, full price on everything... I understand that people fall for it thanks to the sanctuary, but you better get a grip...

21/09/2025: A bar in the center of Gaeta with ample parking nearby. It offers indoor and outdoor seating. A wide selection of pastas, all very good, as well as pizzas... The girls at the counter are all kind and very quick. Top marks

28/09/2025: Worth the wait! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2. The calamari mixto and the Pulpo and were delicious!! The staff (Carmen, Pepe, & Alex) were super friendly!! One of my favorite meals in Gaeta.

16/09/2025: Excellent first courses, especially the linguine with clams and turnip tops, and the mixed fried fish was very good. Friendly and efficient service.

14/10/2025: A wonderful little restaurant, located in a small, very old alleyway in Gaeta. It feels like you've stepped back in time. We wanted to sit outside, and our request was immediately granted, with two additional tables and chairs. The food was fresh, delicious, and varied. Inside the restaurant, there's an old cistern and walls dating back to the 8th century. 🥰 We had a relaxing and very pleasant evening there. Thank you.
