Went for dinner with my son. A simple place where you order directly at the counter, find a free table, and wait for the kitchen to call your name and bring your order to you on a tray. A bit chaotic. Good food, except for the mussels (not cleaned, small, and flavorless). Prices slightly lower than traditional restaurants.

The food is fresh and excellent; don't expect anything special in terms of service—you have to order and take your own—but they're kind and friendly, always with a smile on their faces.
Rustic atmosphere and fair prices. Highly recommended. I'll be back as soon as I'm in the area again.

What sets it apart is the quality of the food. The high prices may be justified by the quality of the food, but not the rest. The place is outside, so there's all the inconvenience of the heat. Furthermore, it's self-service, so there's no service. Another thing, the staff is very friendly.

The food is excellent (except for the penne with tomato sauce for the baby), the service is friendly (you have to set and clear the table yourself), and the atmosphere is lovely. It's a shame about the heat, though. It's open on one side and has little ventilation, so it's very hot.

Very basic but nice place. There's no table service. We were here on a Saturday night and waited an hour to order, then another 25 minutes for dinner. They only have one entrée featuring the catch of the day.
A sure thing in Gaeta, even if the prices have risen a bit.
I always enjoy returning to this waterfront restaurant, where the freshness of the ingredients remains undeniable. Compared to my previous visits, I've noticed a slight increase in prices, but the quality of the fish—from their iconic calamari platter—still absolutely justifies the expense. The atmosphere is always pleasant and informal. It remains one of the best places in Gaeta if you're looking for the true taste of the sea.
