19/11/2024: Excellent experience in this typical Gaeta trattoria. We felt at home, the dishes we ordered really satisfied us with the goodness of the raw materials. Furthermore, the doses are very generous. The menu ranges from fish to meat. Homemade desserts. Honest prices. I would definitely recommend it.

27/08/2024: I stayed for 7 days in the central August week, village directly on the sea, well equipped, efficient bungalows, but the only flaw was the bathroom was very small. Tell you about the food, I also included half board in the package, delicious food with impeccable dining room staff, always polite and super kind. I highly recommend this village, before choosing the room or bungalow go there to choose the one that best suits your needs.

22/08/2024: Super private beach, top-notch facilities, we haven't found anything better, however there is a severe increase in prices, count €50 for 2 deckchairs, 1 parasol and 1 parking space. It stings! Updated August 2024 Prices have increased again 2 parasols 4 deckchairs 1 car that’s €110!!!!!!!!!! It becomes indecent and borders on theft. To this you add the lunch Caprese salad (tomato mozzarella) for €10, fruit salad for €5 per bottle of water and small coffee... for 4 people you'll find yourself between €150 and €200 per day. We will have to stop taking the tourist for a pigeon So yes it's good, it's clean (although the showers need to be redone) but it's not as expensive. Besides, there are fewer people than before, so ask yourself the right questions ❓️

30/07/2024: During a visit to a beautiful beach in Gaeta, I found myself stuck in traffic on the way back. On the recommendation of a local bar, I decided to stop for dinner at this restaurant. At first I was a little hesitant, fearing that it was a gourmet restaurant and therefore very expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is cared for down to the smallest detail and the staff is numerous and attentive. The food was truly delicious, with generous portions that fully satisfied my appetite. I left the restaurant with a full belly and a great sense of satisfaction. Furthermore, the service was quick and the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area. It was an excellent dining experience that I will definitely repeat.

24/02/2024: Pranzo di Natale assolutamente perfetto. Abbiamo optato per il menù pesce preparato e servito egregiamente. L'antipasto con fishball di benvenuto, insalatina tiepida di mare; pasta mista risottata capocchia mazzancolle e cime di rapa; baccalà di rinforzo e per dessert panettone e zabaglione . Conosciamo Walter da tempo e ogni volta che abbiamo voglia di pesce l'unico dove ci piace è da lui e come lui lo prepara. Assolutamente consigliato

01/09/2024: La classica trattoria di pesce anni 80! Soute di cozze 10 euro Insalata di polipo 16 euro Pacchero alla ricciola 18 euro (molto buono) Il posto non è bellissimo, ero praticamente fuori dal ristorante al ridosso di un marciapiede... ma al compenso la la signora che ci ha servito era dolcissima e i piatti non erano male! Avrei evitato di servire già il limone premuto sul polipo perché a non tutti piace. A due passi dalla spiaggia! Tra le 3 stelle e mezzo e le 4.. di 4 per la gentilezza della signora e il pacchero alla ricciola!

30/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in famiglia e siamo rimasti tutti e 4 non soddisfatti...di più. Frittura atomica, insalata di polipo 🔝 pacchero alla Gaetana gustoso, ricco.. ma la pasta alla pescatora da sogno. Ottima l' orata, superfresca! Non lo consiglio ma lo straconsiglio! É stata una scoperta, uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce che ho provato..e noi viviamo vicino al mare! Complimenti!

25/08/2024: “VERY NEGATIVE” experience 8 adults 3 children We arrive at the restaurant at 9 already to add a table for 2 more people, they make us wait 20 minutes and we are left standing at the mercy of the time... “It's Saturday evening, forgive us but we are very full” Ok it's okay LET'S ORDER The owner's wife comes, we order all the first courses and the drinks, mainly water and a single bottle of wine for €18. The lady reiterates that it is Saturday evening and therefore it will take a little time. OK WE ORDER THE FIRST 10 first courses and a schnitzel with chips. and my son had a penne with sauce... the lady reiterates and on Saturday evening you also want to order the second courses so don't wait too long ok we'll tell him the second courses too The first ones arrive at 10.20am and we eat, mine, to tell the truth, is very good quality... At 11.45 the second courses had arrived only two, a fried prawns and calamari and a sea bream fillet with almonds (I had also ordered that but unfortunately it never arrived) 12.00 still nothing after having asked a lot of times if it would take time they tell us that they made a mistake in delivering our orders to another table mha…. We get up annoyed and don't want to have dinner anymore. € first courses average price €15 okay always gourmet giant dishes a taste of pasta inside but I don't think this fits, The lady gives us €43 discount for the inconvenience I paid €60 for 3 first courses covered €3 per person 4-5 bottles of water arrived, the owner gives us €220 the husband comes out because I tell him look that the service sucked in my opinion it's a lot the husband with a pedantic look tells me it's already a lot what we did oh well in a polite way I go to get the card to pay I go back to the cashier 3 other couples to complain about the time and the poor quality of the lobster they had bought that smelled, I pay, let's go out there a boy from that group starts vomiting from the lobster that smelled and he didn't feel well suddenly a friend of ours with a white face doesn't feel well either... 25/08/2024: We went to this nice restaurant on the port last Monday. Welcomed with such courtesy and professionalism, we appreciated the delicacy of the fish starters, served with refinement, and the excellent first courses, based on tonnarelli. Definitely recommended.

08/12/2024: Il ristorante sito a Gaeta Vecchia nella meravigliosa città di Gaeta (LT), dista circa 20 metri dal mare ed offre una bellissima vista. Consigliatoci da un conoscente, vi ci siamo recati fiduciosi. Purtroppo le aspettative sono state ampiamente deluse. Travandosi a pochi metri dal mare e con un menù di pesce, ci saremmo aspettati di mangiare pesce fresco e prodotti ittici non surgelati. Abbiamo preso un piccolo antipasto, poco condito e a dir poco scarno di sapori, con pomodori troppo acquosi (del tipo non adatto alla bruschetta) e pane "mollo". Un primo di pesce con pasta fresca, mi sarei aspettato della pasta artigianale e pesce fresco, ritrovandomi nel piatto pasta fresca da supermercato (quella nelle buste da frigo) e misto di pesce congelato (di quello già pronto delle vaschette da supermercato). Se mi si chiede come si fa a riconoscere del misto pesce surgelato, vi rispondo che basta guardare il taglio dei cubetti di pesce (tonno e spada) tutti uguali e di mezzo centimetro per lato (chiaramente industriale); mentre per i pomodori ne esistono di diverse varietà (san marzano, ciliegino, vesuviano, piccadilly, datterino, da insalata) ognuna adatta per un sugo o per bruschetta. Quando si va in un ristorante che non si conosce, è buona abitudine ordinare poche portate per volta, per saggiarne la qualità; per fortuna ci siamo fermati ai primi piatti, conisderata la scarsa qualità delle portate. Il conto finale è stato modesto, d'altra parte considerato come si è mangiato sarebbe da ritenrsi anche caro. Peccato, perchè il ristorante avrebbe delle potenzialità, ma si perdono sulla cosa fondamentale: la buona cucina e l'utilizzo di ingredienti freschi. Mi spiace esprimermi in commenti negativi nei confronti di chi lavora, ma sono di Napoli (altra meravigliosa città di mare) e conosco bene il sapore del pesce fresco e della buona cucina, nonchè l'arte culinaria tradizionale che, personalmente, pratico con prodotti freschi ed artigianali (dall'impasto per pizza ai prodotti ittici).

24/11/2024: The place is nice but I didn't find good value for money...in fact, even if the spaghetti with clams were quite good the quantity was small...just two forkfuls...then the swordfish and calamari were not fresh but frozen at my opinion!

23/08/2024: Nice and well looked after place, as well as the staff, attentive and kind. Very fresh and quality fish. Refined and refined cuisine, it's a pity that in the first tastes the flavor of the fish was not enhanced, but it was lost a little.

12/11/2024: In the Lido "La Perla" there is a beach bar, restaurant and pizzeria with outdoor tables, for example for a very good quick snack: DOP ham and buffalo mozzarella. The toilets are well looked after. The umbrellas are at the right distance and the price includes two sunbeds and a director's chair. The structure has internal parking, but there is a fee. Overall the price is adequate for what is offered.

23/09/2024: Does not deserve even a single star! The pizza was not available to order so had to take a gamble with gnocchetti. Took them more than half an hour to bring this atrocious tasteless unseasoned mess. The comments on the presentation are pointless. The absolute shame of an experience.
