02/03/2026: Being professional, whatever your job, shouldn't be optional. Yesterday, we sat down for an aperitivo. We ordered a prosecco and three San Pellegrinos, one of which was requested without ice and orange. All three were served with ice and orange. When the waitress politely pointed this out (mistakes can happen, we're not infallible), she responded with a chuckle and slammed the glass down in front of him. We were shocked by the rudeness. My sister-in-law pointed out that he couldn't drink it like that because he was pregnant. Only then did she change it for him (hoping it hadn't been drained). I want to point out that you shouldn't joke about people's health, and if I pay €5.50 for a San Pellegrino cocktail, I expect it to be served as requested without being mocked. Truly disappointing.

18/08/2025: Terrible review of the restaurant at the Hotel Club Torre Capovento. The seafood scialatielli were awful, salty, and greasy. The price was increased from €25 to €28 for choosing a pasta dish other than the one listed on the menu. Mineral water was €5. So avoid it.

17/07/2026: We came back after experiencing less than stellar service, and I have to say we were really happy this time! The girls at the counter always have a smile on their faces, and the kitchen staff is very friendly. We had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it, as always! Excellent pizza and top-notch ingredients! I recommend trying the pizza with croquettes, sausage, and pecorino cheese, and the guanciale and onion. They're AMAZING! 👽🛸

Stay away from this place, the prices are non-existent. We asked for a charcuterie board for four and a few vegetable samples, and the lady thought it best to add a hefty €100 charge (it wasn't raw fish...).
A plated hamburger for the little girl cost €16 (meat was practically €80 per kg).
They brought us day-old bread with ants in it (the place is called Fornaio, so bread is supposed to be their flagship...).
I didn't want to complain because it wouldn't have helped anyway. When you find dishonest restaurateurs, you just have to avoid them again.

You probably mistook my wife and I for two sheik tourists from Saudi Arabia, but we're residents and live in Latina!
Two buffalo mozzarellas, approximately 150 grams (300 grams total).
Two baby artichokes, approximately 60 grams (120 grams total).
A basket with two half slices of bread.
A 33cl Nastro Azzurro.
Two lukewarm coffees, wasted and poorly made without warning us that the espresso machine wasn't working.
Four wine donuts.
TOTAL BILL: €25 = LEGALIZED shock tax.
Stay away from this place... they'll rip you off!

21/07/2026: Terrible experience, everyone incapable of doing their job, mostly due to their extreme rudeness. Incorrect receipts (check them carefully), and sometimes not even printed. The arrogant, rude cashier thinks he's someone special, is always annoyed, and even dares to yell at customers with rude language. I advise against paying with debit card if you don't want to be verbally attacked!
Advice for the place: CLOSE.

13/06/2026: A few days ago, my wife, our two daughters, and I, at the end of our vacation, left our house in Ponza for an afternoon out. A couple of restaurants had been recommended for lunch, and we chose to stop at the lighthouse; we couldn't have made a better choice.
We stopped by in the morning for breakfast: richly filled croissants, delicious Neapolitan sfogliatelle, donuts, cappuccinos, coffee, and juices were the perfect way to start the day.
We took the boat to Frontone (2 minutes away) and spent a pleasant half day there.
We returned around 2:00 PM and were ready for lunch, but we weren't expecting such a treat:
Two simple penne pasta with tomato sauce for the girls were an absolute masterpiece worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The result was a clean plate, exquisite eggplant parmigiana, impeccable fried calamari, delicate and incredibly fresh. But the icing on the cake was the chef's bruschetta with grilled octopus, papaccelle (scallions), anchovies, olives, and vegetables. As I told the kids, it was "inedible," meaning it couldn't have been eaten by a normal person. It was so abundant and delicious, yet still indescribable; you only have to try it to see for yourself. We finished lunch with coffee and chocolate gelato, gianduja, and caramelized almonds—a spectacle.
All of this was, of course, complemented by the helpfulness, attentiveness, kindness, and friendly atmosphere of all the staff, with the sea and the harbor beaches as a backdrop—a true treat.
04/06/2026: I appreciated the quality of the ingredients, which made the pizza excellent. The beer selection was also excellent.

28/02/2026: Sky-high prices... certain delicatessen gems don't have those prices. Table service isn't bad, but it's not worth $2.50! There's nothing special about Norna, the wines, cured meats, and cheeses you can find in any non-food boutique! I totally don't recommend it! It's a dive with two tables without tablecloths; it's not even a paper tablecloth! Never again.
