22/07/2026: Saturday dinner, few customers. Outdoor tables. Full of mosquitoes. Decent food, but long waits. They don't have bread. Mulled wine arrived after the appetizer. Inexperienced staff. The bill also included focaccia brought in because there was no bread... so: bread (which there isn't) and cover charge + €10 for focaccia (because there was no bread).

27/03/2026: Delicious food, served very quickly and in a very good quantity. The complete tourist menu, with primo, secondo and contorno for 15 euros was a great find! Impeccable service. I was very well received, even though I was a hiker on the Via Francigena. The location is great, right at the beginning of the city. I even received biscuits, chocolate and water for the rest of the day's hike. I recommend it without hesitation!!! Grazie mille!

25/05/2026: Returning to Giovannino a Mare is always a great pleasure.
The atmosphere is refined, the staff is attentive and courteous.
The view is stunning, with the option of having lunch or dinner right on the beach.
The appetizers and first courses are beautifully presented and truly delicious.
The fried calamari, shrimp, and baby octopus are SUPERB.

19/07/2026: Good morning, have a good day everyone! This place is located in the center of Scauri on the Appian Way. The previous owner was great when I went with my family, he'd give us free fries, since he was from Europe. He treated us like family. Since this new owner took over, the sandwiches are smaller, the kebabs are cheap, and he doesn't give us anything free. I don't like going there, especially in extreme cases.

We ate poolside and had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. The waiters were very efficient, professional, and fast! Excellent food!
02/06/2026: I visited this location for an event. The food was quite good. I follow a gluten-free diet for celiac disease, and to ensure good service, they gave me this "tag" to distinguish me and prevent me from feeling sick. Everything was fine.

The overall experience is positive, although the service could be improved to make the visit even more enjoyable. 24/02/2026: Located right on the seafront, this hotel restaurant impressed us because, despite being in low season, they offered impeccable service. The rooms are clean and spacious, overlooking the sea with a small balcony that allows you to enjoy the view. We dined there, sampling the delicious Valentine's Day menu with table service from knowledgeable and friendly staff. This was also true for breakfast, which we enjoyed in the sea-view dining room.
