29/12/2024: Local cicchetti and wine at the top. Trained and kind staff. They accepted my furry friend without any problem. I started going there months ago out of curiosity and now it has become my go-to place. Super super recommended.

28/12/2024: Good cicchetti, good spritzes and hugos. The service, however, was terrible. Ruin it all with the service. Barman who replies that they are not there to scratch after I ask for the second time to order something to eat since no one was considering me. The waitress with dark curly hair and glasses who looks at me very badly when I say that an aperitif was going to another table, looks very badly my dog ​​and makes a face of disappointment. We're not quite there. I don't want to say the customer is always right but at least provide a decent service. I would happily go back for the food and drink but I would just as happily avoid it due to the treatment given to us.

12/02/2025: Oggi superati, patate al forno che sono solo lesse, bianche cadaveriche, braciola stracotta e zuppa/Crema di legumi che in realtà è un minestrone fatto con il soffritto senza legumi, senza menzionare quando mettete ingredienti in più senza che siano segnati negli allergeni... È un misto tra film horror e comico

26/03/2025: Con amici una domenica sera siamo tornati alla trattoria “Al Combattente”. La prospettiva di una buona cena nei colli con carne alla brace era una garanzia. All’arrivo non vi era il profumo delle braci e il focolare era spento. Già questo non convinceva. Dopo aver preso posto abbiamo ordinato una fiorentina, una grigliata e una braciola. La fiorentina ci è stato detto che poteva essere all’incirca 1 Kg. Senza troppa attesa arrivano le pietanze e la sorpresa è stata proprio la fiorentina: servita tagliata a pezzi che friggeva nel proprio grasso su un piatto incandescente (probabilmente ghisa). Di grasso ce n’era parecchio in quanto era letteralmente foderata da uno strato di alcuni centimetri. Un piatto inpresentabile. Anche i contorni lasciavano desiderare, cipolline in agrodolce sfatte e patate al forno stracotte. Alla nostra segnalazione il titolare ci ha chiesto se volevamo un ulteriore fiorentina più piccola, ma abbiamo declinato, eravamo già emotivamente sazi. In cassa sono state servite scuse poco convincenti, il totale è stato scontato, ma sorpresa finale il peso della fiorentina era lievitato da 1 Kg. a 1 Kg. e mezzo. Dispiace aver ricevuto un trattamento simile in quanto per noi il locale era garanzia di buona qualità.

25/03/2025: Una fiorentina da sogno !complimenti !da voi la cucina é semplice e genuina,i salumi molto buoni la cottura della pasta perfetta carne ottima porzioni abbondanti contorni appetitosi ,ho provato anche lo spiedo direi eccezzionale ,la fiorentina una delle migliori mai mangiate in nessun altro posto così strepitosa saporita e gustosa ,locale accogliente pulito e curato personale di sala attento e professionale e i padroni di casa sempe gentili sorridenti e generosi il conto più che giusto .5 palline sono poche !

We tasted beef tartare with mustard sauce, creamy egg and vegetables, soft pumpkin flan, pork secreto, egg tagliatelle with truffle, Tomahawk. For dessert, a couple of muffins and millefeuille. Well-kept and comfortable environment, large garden with games for children. Stone parking adjacent to the restaurant, location surrounded by nature in a quiet area of ​​Montecchio Maggiore.

23/03/2025: The place is nice, the food and the service leave much to be desired! Spaghetti with clams dry, without sauce, tasteless mini portion. Fried calamari and prawns on the menu then some prawns arrived, all too salty, dish that is absolutely not worth 25 euros! We had to ask for bread and toothpicks, the waiter brought only one toothpick to the table. The bathroom was very dirty at 7:30 pm with the place almost empty while 3 waiters were chatting calmly behind the counter instead of checking the services... At the cashier they gave us 5 euros less in change and the guy was annoyed when we told him. Waiters without a smile... Terrible experience, I absolutely do not recommend it! I read your answer, I did not get the wrong place. The dishes I described on January 1, 2025 you had on the menu, since we consumed them for dinner!
