18/01/2026: Fantastic location. In my opinion, I would have kept the decor simpler because the building itself is stunning, with exposed river stones and brick arches. We tried the freshwater fish tasting menu, a unique experience! Delicate pairings, contrasts, and unique textures from appetizer to dessert! They even managed to make me enjoy the eel, which I don't usually eat! I would recommend it to anyone! We're thinking of returning, hopefully soon!

24/02/2026: We were at a lunch with a group of people near us who were celebrating a birthday and our lunch was ruined by their behavior. They screamed like animals when we asked them to speak a little quietly and said that we had to stay at home. They were rude and ignorant and they were really disgusting.

09/01/2026: Probably the best tortellini in Valeggio, with its incredibly thin pasta and exceptional filling, excellent both in broth and dry. The main courses are also noteworthy; I had duck à l'orange, the special of the day, which was truly remarkable! The wine list is also good. Attentive and friendly staff, a welcoming place.

06/01/2026: A great classic of the finest Italian gastronomy, the home of the excellent tortellino. The best tortellini in the world, prepared every morning by six splendid pasta makers, overseen daily by the wisdom of the longtime owners, the Pasquali family, led by the wonderful and ever-brilliant Nadia. A very thin pastry and a boiled meat filling made daily by boiling six different meats, none of which are cured meats, hence the lightness and extraordinary flavor. The dining room, always packed and crowded, is masterfully managed by the talented Roberto, a top-notch maître d' who leads a large and fast-paced dining room team. Last but not least, the historic and meticulously maintained restaurant is located in the beautiful center of town, just steps from the splendor of Borghetto, which more than a visit deserves a spiritual immersion... or a wedding! 😉

05/01/2026: Very good trattoria! The polenta is truly exceptional with perfectly cooked mushrooms. The tortelli and cacio e pepe pasta are among the best we've had in the area. The waiter was also very friendly and helpful. We'll be back :)

15/03/2026: The Valeggio tortellini are always perfect, the Mantuan pumpkin tortelli are delicious, and the lemon, saffron, and shrimp ravioli are one of my favorite dishes: I order them often and they never disappoint. Beyond the quality of the food, what makes this place special are the people. A restaurant I always love to return to. Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: I was truly satisfied, first and foremost, with the service—the kindness, courtesy, and hospitality of the waiters. It was an experience of local flavors, with beautiful presentation. The chef puts heart and soul into what he does, and the food is quality. I also asked for wine recommendations, and they were spot on! What can I say...a truly one-of-a-kind experience! I will recommend and hope to return!

26/01/2026: 🍝 A little gem with amazing authentic food and warm hospitality 💎 We were welcomed with a friendly smile and genuine hospitality, and the staff was kind and attentive throughout our visit. The food was amazing and truly authentic — something that’s hard to find these days. We loved everything we tried, including the dessert. So glad we discovered this little gem. Highly recommended, and we would happily return if we have the chance. You don’t want to miss this place!

08/02/2026: We met Mr. Faccioli by chance, and we chatted with him in the hotel's large courtyard. He's a truly friendly and pleasant person. Shortly afterward, we entered the restaurant from the courtyard. We waited, but no one was there, absolutely no one at all, and after a while, a staff member finally emerged from the kitchen. The restaurant is downstairs, "Cantina" by name and by nature, but Mr. Francesco, the maître d', who we later learned was "the Faccioli brother," made us feel very welcome, as I had some doubts about the location. It seems the rather large restaurant was built later by excavating beneath the hotel, where a partially unknown cellar was discovered. Between one conversation and another, we were treated to a plate of pumpkin tortelli and a delicious, almost overly generous tagliatella with porcini mushrooms. This was followed by two beautiful sea bass, perfectly grilled, and a delicious vegetable mix. Everything was excellent and well-prepared. A decaf coffee and a taste of Carnival dessert, kindly offered and very welcome, rounded off a rather generous Saturday lunch. I have to say about this experience: we were welcomed warmly, we ate well, we were pampered, and we paid a very fair €73.20. I recommend it 100% with flying colors. Best regards, Paolo & Ombretta

03/02/2026: Little by little, I've tasted almost every type of tortelli, but I couldn't choose the best. The pasta is the perfect thickness, and the ingredients are excellent. It's a shame they're a bit far away for me.

03/02/2026: We called late in the morning and were disappointed to hear that there was only room until 1:30 PM, a time that suited us perfectly. The fried gnocco and cured meats were superb, and the tortelli tasting menu was even better. The staff was truly friendly. Highly recommended.
