18/01/2026: Fantastic location. In my opinion, I would have kept the decor simpler because the building itself is stunning, with exposed river stones and brick arches. We tried the freshwater fish tasting menu, a unique experience! Delicate pairings, contrasts, and unique textures from appetizer to dessert! They even managed to make me enjoy the eel, which I don't usually eat! I would recommend it to anyone! We're thinking of returning, hopefully soon!

31/12/2025: This is my first time at this restaurant with friends. The appetizers are excellent, both in quality and quantity, the steak is tender and flavorful, and the Bardolino wine is their own. The restaurant is rustic yet very welcoming, with attention to detail, and the tables are spacious and not crowded. I highly recommend this restaurant.

29/12/2025: Very nice place, furnished with historical objects, not an extensive menu, but the dishes are excellent for the taste and the satisfying quantity, price related to the service... very satisfied... definitely worth trying again for me...

09/01/2026: Probably the best tortellini in Valeggio, with its incredibly thin pasta and exceptional filling, excellent both in broth and dry. The main courses are also noteworthy; I had duck à l'orange, the special of the day, which was truly remarkable! The wine list is also good. Attentive and friendly staff, a welcoming place.

06/01/2026: A great classic of the finest Italian gastronomy, the home of the excellent tortellino. The best tortellini in the world, prepared every morning by six splendid pasta makers, overseen daily by the wisdom of the longtime owners, the Pasquali family, led by the wonderful and ever-brilliant Nadia. A very thin pastry and a boiled meat filling made daily by boiling six different meats, none of which are cured meats, hence the lightness and extraordinary flavor. The dining room, always packed and crowded, is masterfully managed by the talented Roberto, a top-notch maître d' who leads a large and fast-paced dining room team. Last but not least, the historic and meticulously maintained restaurant is located in the beautiful center of town, just steps from the splendor of Borghetto, which more than a visit deserves a spiritual immersion... or a wedding! 😉

05/01/2026: We had dinner on January 5, 2026, and were pleased with the welcome and, above all, the carefully prepared dishes, which were very tasty but not heavy. The price was fair for the quality. I highly recommend it. BRAVI

05/01/2026: Very good trattoria! The polenta is truly exceptional with perfectly cooked mushrooms. The tortelli and cacio e pepe pasta are among the best we've had in the area. The waiter was also very friendly and helpful. We'll be back :)

02/11/2025: After a perfect first dinner—with a warm welcome, homemade focaccia, Valeggio tortellini, and a tiramisu to die for—I was delighted to return. This time I tried different tortelli, different from the classics I'd already tried, and a delicious cake for dessert. Everything was always excellent, carefully prepared, and rich in flavor. A charming location, just steps from the village and with convenient parking. A place I'll definitely return to—a sure thing every time!

30/12/2025: We stopped here on our way back from Trentino to Milan: a very nice, simple place, absolutely fine food, friendly staff, and a very reasonable price.

03/11/2025: I was truly satisfied, first and foremost, with the service—the kindness, courtesy, and hospitality of the waiters. It was an experience of local flavors, with beautiful presentation. The chef puts heart and soul into what he does, and the food is quality. I also asked for wine recommendations, and they were spot on! What can I say...a truly one-of-a-kind experience! I will recommend and hope to return!

08/01/2026: We visited the restaurant for a business lunch and were thoroughly satisfied in every way. The food was excellent and high-quality, evident in the aromas: the prosciutto appetizer accompanied by a delicious fig jam was simply sublime. The trio of tortelli was superb, especially the green ones filled with leek and bacon, truly excellent. The desserts also deserve a special mention: all delicious, delicate, and never cloying. Attentive and friendly service. An impeccable experience in every way.

26/12/2025: Superlative business lunch. The meat tortellini (cappelletti for me, being Emilian) are sublime, served dry but in a bed of melted butter!! Exceptional broccoli tortelli, even for those who don't like broccoli. Excellent service, local wines, prices €140 for 4

30/12/2025: A lovely trattoria reminiscent of times gone by. The staff is helpful and always ready to smile (Corrado made us laugh heartily with his story about the ocean liner). The tortellini in broth were fabulous. It's impossible not to return.

28/12/2025: Amazing spot to sit and enjoy the scenery of Borghetto. The Tortellini were delicious however ; one probably has to bring one’s own Parmegiano. If you want cheese on your pasta you have to the ask the waiter who will come and drizzle some and turn away instantly and not allow seconds at will.

28/12/2025: We stopped at 2:30 PM and were terrified the kitchen would be closed, but even people who sat down after us continued eating. Not much to say about the atmosphere... you're on the river and it feels like you're in a movie. I honestly thought it was one of those tourist spots where the service is terrible and the food mediocre, but it was quite the opposite. The service was efficient and precise. The lake fish was delicious, sweet and sour, and really well done. My tortellini were okay, not the best I've ever eaten, but they were still well-made. Also, I thought the price was really expensive considering the location, but it was absolutely in line with today's prices. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the village!

09/11/2025: Amazing family owned restaurant. The reservation is required but it’s definitely worth the drive. Fiorentina is on of the best i have ever tried (if not the best)

20/01/2026: Excellent value for money. You can buy fresh pasta, broth, and sauces and even eat them directly in a space adjacent to the shop. The staff is friendly, the tortelli and tortellini of all kinds are delicious, and the mixed tasting is a must. The fried gnocco is fantastic, as few can make it!

12/01/2026: Pastificio MERELLI? What can I say...everything is spectacular...spinach tortelli, a 10/10...pumpkin tortelli (made especially for them) without mustard, a 10/10+...meat ravioli??? Top marks...I would gladly make the trip back from the Varese province to these delights again.. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

15/11/2025: Awesome experience! The tortellini are delicious, 4 out of 6 are vegetarian, and the place is small but very welcoming. I absolutely recommend lunch here. A well-deserved 5 stars.
