20/11/2025: Passing by Lake Garda, we asked Google's artificial intelligence where to eat the best tortellini in Valeggio, and the answer was: the best is Alla Borsa. There may be other restaurants in Valeggio that are better than this, but Alla Borsa is certainly a gem that's hard to match. A warm welcome, professional and speedy service, and an interesting menu rooted in local specialties. After our usual salad (fresh and plentiful), we chose salmon trout carpaccio and prosciutto crudo with (wonderful) homemade mustard as an appetizer. Both were excellent. And then, above all, the typical Valeggio tortellini, with a pasta so thin it's hard to understand how they stay together. After all, there's a tradition that has lasted generations. The Valpolicella Superiore and Custoza (by the glass, and a very generous portion at that) were excellent, and the price was fair, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. This restaurant will become a regular stop for us. Thanks Gemini for the great recommendation!

03/11/2025: I was truly satisfied, first and foremost, with the service—the kindness, courtesy, and hospitality of the waiters. It was an experience of local flavors, with beautiful presentation. The chef puts heart and soul into what he does, and the food is quality. I also asked for wine recommendations, and they were spot on! What can I say...a truly one-of-a-kind experience! I will recommend and hope to return!

02/11/2025: After a perfect first dinner—with a warm welcome, homemade focaccia, Valeggio tortellini, and a tiramisu to die for—I was delighted to return. This time I tried different tortelli, different from the classics I'd already tried, and a delicious cake for dessert. Everything was always excellent, carefully prepared, and rich in flavor. A charming location, just steps from the village and with convenient parking. A place I'll definitely return to—a sure thing every time!

18/10/2025: We found ourselves here by chance. But chance is sometimes very generous... Unexpectedly, we found truly "unforgettable" flavors and hospitality. Everything was delicious, and it tasted of dedication and skill. We'll definitely be back. The appetizers and desserts were above average and, I'd say, "memorable." Thank you for existing. No photos because we ate everything in a flash (!!)

13/11/2025: After visiting the beautiful village of Valeggio sul Mincio, we decided not to go to a typical restaurant, but instead (as we've done on other occasions) to try an artisanal pasta shop to sample typical local products. We couldn't have made a better choice! We sat in an old cellar, sharing a meal with other diners. There were three of us: my son chose the tortelli tasting menu, I opted for the tiny tortellini in broth, and my wife went straight for the grilled meats. Finally, we rounded off an excellent lunch with homemade desserts. Finally, we couldn't resist stocking up on various local products at the counter, including a mix of tortelli in various flavors. If you're passing through Valeggio (VR), you can't miss this place and enjoy these delights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

10/11/2025: To my surprise, the tortellini and tortelli menu, which satisfies every palate, is complemented by dishes, both traditional and otherwise, prepared with excellent ingredients and expertly prepared (Patanegra ham with figs, pork cheek with polenta, grilled meat, etc.). The atmosphere is also truly welcoming. Excellent service.

10/10/2025: What a fantastic find near Lake Garda! On our last night we were looking for an authentic taste of the region, and you absolutely have to try this restaurant. It's about 20 mins drive from Peschiera. They specialise in tortellini and they were simply superb. Everything was made with obvious care, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was bursting with flavor. It was so difficult to choose which tortellini to go for and I especially appreciated that the menu had a TRIO tasting option and you could combine three different flavours of tortellini. It felt like a genuine, local experience, not just a tourist stop. And if they have torta delle rose on the dessert menu, give it a try as well!

19/10/2025: The place was busy, but the service was still quick and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the dishes; we had two fish main courses and the tiramisu was also very good. The prices were fair. I recommend it.

09/10/2025: Had lunch for two during a tour of Borghetto. Excellent restaurant in the center of town with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. We had the fisherman's appetizer, tortelli with butter and sage, both "nodo d'amore" and "zucchini" with pike and cod for main courses. Everything was very good with adequate portions. The price was fair for the offering and the service was perfect. We will definitely return, perhaps during a stay at the hotel.
