Omen Nomen ..... "rustic" trattoria, a beautiful, large fireplace at the entrance for preparing the house specialty: grilled meat. Surrounded by greenery, just steps from Custoza. Not very suitable for large tables, it seats about thirty... maybe more, spread across two rooms on the ground floor of an old courtyard house. "Rustic" but adequate service. A "minimal" menu with not a huge selection, but very good meat and even more delicious first courses. The side dishes are sparse, sad, and extremely expensive; otherwise, prices are average. All in all, a positive experience that I personally will repeat. I've noticed that the few negative reviews aren't about the staff, food, bill, or anything else related to the restaurant, but rather the fact that they don't allow dogs. This is also written on the website and on the sign hanging at the entrance, so I don't understand all this hatred from those who have decided to legally have a dog by choice and want to arbitrarily and arrogantly impose it on all those who, also by free choice, don't have a dog 🐕. Reading a negative review just for this reason should make you reflect more on human nature and the delicate mental state of people... P.S. I have a 🐶 🐕 ...... and also a 🐈🐱..... 😉😎

Efficient and friendly staff...the food was divine, all of excellent quality.

I've known this place for over twenty years, and it's always a reliable choice. Their signature dishes are their appetizers with bruschetta and cured meats, the onion soup (fantastic), and the excellent meat. The wine list is varied; ask the owners, who are very kind and friendly, for suggestions. We returned recently, and the atmosphere in the dining room was truly vibrant. It's true, the space isn't huge...but that's a plus, it's nice for that. A rustic and welcoming place to be.

I stumbled upon it by chance and it was a pleasant discovery. As soon as you walk in, you see the heart of the trattoria, the walkway with the grills. The dishes are high-quality. The staff is fantastic. A regular stop every time I'm in the area.

Excellent. In the hills of the Mincio, not far from Borghetto. Very nice place, well-decorated, and delicious food. The wine is also excellent. Average price.

We're definitely grill experts, so we enjoyed some excellent grilled meat. The atmosphere is rustic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the wine list is extensive, including excellent local wines, and the cuisine, with its home-style flavors, is highly appreciated. Reservations are essential as they're very popular.
