05/09/2025: The manager is a bit rude, once they get you into the bar, they insistently try to sell you whatever they want.

05/09/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because it's the best. Terrible food: spaghetti with squid ink that tasted like oil. Cuttlefish was extremely salty and inedible. A bottle of still water was €6!!!!! We asked for bread to accompany our main course, but guess what, it wasn't included and we were charged €2.50 on the receipt—obviously, no one had mentioned this. Plus, there's a 12% service charge (10% VAT). I'm attaching a photo of the receipt because it's unbelievable. Speechless

17/02/2026: The place has a good view, good service, but the food is of very poor quality, awful! Low quality and high prices. To my surprise, the bill goes beyond what is on the menu, they add 10% and a service charge and don't even inform you, I only found out because I went to check the bill again at the counter and the attendant rudely finally showed me the bill with the additions without having informed me on the menu that they would charge them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

10/02/2026: Tourist trap - The most expensive coffee I've ever bought in Italy, and it also happened to be the worst. The beer and chips were fine. Redeeming factor is the view and bathroom access.

26/10/2025: I stayed at this property called "Hotel Amalfi" for three nights. The service was exemplary only in the dining room. I interacted with all the hotel staff, but no one made me feel listened to and welcomed as a guest like the waiters. The two very young girls in the dining room are role models. They were vibrant and visibly attentive to the order of the dining room and the well-being of the guests. I was very sorry that during this stay I witnessed these two girls being reprimanded by the chef. He allowed himself to leave the kitchen in a pitiful state, smelling of onions and fried ammentecato... and yet, with a dirty apron, he decided to come out and be complimented by the guests, who were so shocked by the situation that they decided to compliment him even though they were not satisfied. The two girls were truly magnanimous human beings. They were adorned, without imperfections: harmless and beautiful; And this saved the decay of the old dining room, left over from when my grandfather went to war. My stay was respectable, but it wouldn't have been the same without these two waitresses.

26/10/2025: I stayed for 5 days with half board. The room was decent, very old but clean. The only flaw was the bathroom without a shower. The location is excellent; if you're traveling with families, it's the perfect area, while if you're younger, there's a cheap bus service. I had a wonderful experience with the staff, especially the waiters in the dining room who served in the evening. I was served by two extremely friendly and helpful young women. I had the pleasure of engaging in several conversations and discovered that it was their first job experience. I would never have imagined this given their dedication to their work. The food was very good, served impeccably, always on time as soon as I sat down, they came straight to ask for drinks, and my orders were always correct. Although there were some mishaps, like a refrigerator that started leaking, they immediately fixed the accidental damage and served without any issues. The only flaw was the chef, who often left, all dirty and sweaty, not wearing proper work attire, and he would yell at the girls for no apparent reason. I hope to see them again next season because I'll definitely be coming!

16/12/2025: Best pizza in town, exceptionally tasty 👌 Good value for money as well. Recommend 100%!

12/12/2025: Went for a “late night” snack around 2030. Guy at the place said he couldn’t/wouldn’t make a pizza to go and to pick from the slices on the window. Pizza tasted bad, got 3 slices and 2 beers for 36 euro. Absolutely not worth it.

03/07/2025: Fueron groseros y nos ignoraron. El proyecto de ley Costaba 84 euros por dos trozos de tarta y dos refrescos de limón (sin alcohol). Parece que no les gustan los turistas. Evitar

03/06/2025: Nos detuvimos aquí mientras exploramos la zona cerca del Palacio Ducal y fue un placer perfecto. La tienda es encantadora y acogedora, y el helado fue uno de los mejores que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje. Cada cono fue servido generosamente, y cada sabor que probamos fue rico y cremoso. Fue una experiencia divertida para toda nuestra familia, y apreciamos especialmente lo fácil que fue navegar por el menú. Una pequeña parada genial si estás en la zona y necesitas un descanso fresco del calor.

29/05/2025: I'm giving this restaurant a 3 because I felt it was lacking in genuine customer service and quality of food was good but not was you would expect at the price point, the waiter we had seemed to be in a rush or possibly irritated at the fact we were there to begin with he served us but without a smile or a shred of joy to be there and the food was served about 25 minutes later it was okay tasting but not what you would expect from a fine Venice restaurant

03/03/2026: Got a cappuccino from this place and it didn't taste like any cappuccino I've ever had. It was a little late, but I did ask them if it's okay and they said yes, they can still make one. First cappuccino in Venice and it tasted like some other weird milky drink.

02/03/2026: Well. I told him very precisely to put 1 scoop of vanilla flavor in me. He gives it to me, I pay and leave. After a while I notice that the ice cream wasn't vanilla flavor. It was lemon flavor. Because I had already eaten a lot, I didn't go and say anything to him. But...

30/08/2025: My most expensive Aperol in Italy: €13 for one drink. We only booked a table because it was on the rooftop; dinner turned out to be inside, with only drinks on the rooftop. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it; the prices are outrageous.

08/03/2026: Very unfriendly staff! You can tell they get a lot of walk-in customers and one more or less doesn't matter!!!

05/03/2026: At first, everything was fine, we enjoyed our meals, but halfway through, they started clearing the table, even though they're supposed to close at midnight. It was 10 PM, and there was an awkward atmosphere. They kept looking at us, as if they were trying to get rid of us. We felt pressured to leave. And then there are the little bread baskets with appetizers that are an extra charge. If you touch them and don't put them down, they're free, but as soon as someone touches them, it's a €10 surcharge. I think it's unacceptable that we have to pay for the cover charge, the service, and the meals.

29/09/2025: But at least train your employees... working for Diemme and not knowing the basics of a perfect espresso takes away the company's credibility.

20/09/2025: This afternoon I stopped by the bar for a couple of coffees ☕️☕️ I have to say, the guy at the cash register was really kind 😊, the tall, smiling girl was very courteous and helpful 🌸. I always love the atmosphere, with a beautiful view that makes even a simple break special 💖. Unfortunately, the only downside was a small, slightly plump barista with glasses 👓 who glared at us and then rudely served our coffees, shoving them in front of us 😔… I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but it would have been better not to take it out on the customers. I love the place and I've been there before with pleasure ✨ I would have given it 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, but it's a real shame about the service on that occasion.

12/03/2026: The food and service were very good, quick, and delicious. The seating was a bit cramped, but otherwise the atmosphere was adequate.

11/03/2026: We had dinner here 2 nights in a row. The carbonara was absolutely delicious 😋 their desserts are beyond incredible. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere for a relax lunch or dinner. Staff was very friendly.
