30/07/2024: I must say it was an exceptional experience. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly set it apart were the staff. They were the best in the world, hands down. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to making our stay perfect truly enhanced our entire vacation. There was also a very kind lady staff member who greeted us with a heartwarming smile every time she saw us, making us feel incredibly welcome and valued. Every request was met with a smile and a willingness to help. I can't recommend Hotel Smeraldo enough and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to the amazing team for making our holiday unforgettable!

10/08/2024: Yikes! Bad drinks. White wine on tap mixed with soda water does not make prosecco. Autotuned pop/rap music is not jazz. We chugged our over-priced cocktails, cut our losses and got out of there quickly. Steer clear.

11/08/2024: Unfortunately a bad experience. We ate a pizza because the prices of the fish first courses seemed exaggerated. A pasta with calamari 20 euros... A carbonara 13 euros and pasta with garlic, oil and chilli pepper 10 euros. 😅 One of the ugliest pizzas I've ever eaten, with an extremely dry and thin dough and with mozzarella that looked like plastic. A 75 cl water paid for 3.90, 3 slices of freshly defrosted cold bread and two packs of breadsticks justify a cover charge of 2.5 euros and oh well the price of a pizza truly worthy of a poor quality take away is close to 10 euros. In total, two pizzas and a 75 water are 28 euros. You wouldn't go in there anymore even if it was the only restaurant open. --------- To respond to the owner... Happy, happy everyone! I see that I am not the only one who has had one in your restaurant. They accuse me of being a liar but with all due respect, you can recognize a thawed bread because it's frozen inside, a mozzarella that also looks like it's made of rubber. Having said that.... Other than "infinite and constant series of positive reviews". For me it doesn't change much, I simply change the restaurant. The problems remain with you! Happy continuation!

10/08/2024: We have been in Bibione for several years and actually go to the restaurant regularly and last year we were satisfied with the food and service. This year was a complete disaster, I had dinner the day before yesterday and the service was ok, the food (mixed grill plate) was not good. The meat was of inferior quality and the carbonara wasn't an Italian carbonara, more like something German. Nevertheless, we went there a second time and should have avoided it. We ordered a starter, which was quite ok, and three pizzas as the main course. Friends of ours decided to join us and the table next door was pushed over. Until then everything was fine, after half an hour my son (13 and we were there with two other children) tried to ask about the main course and was waved off by the waiter (with long hair and a pigtail). After an hour, my son went to the waiter again and asked again about the pizzas and was told that they would be coming soon. Our friends arrived in the meantime and ordered food and drinks and unbelievably but true, they got their food before us. I then asked about our food since we had already been waiting for an hour and a half. When we complained about it, the table next door made fun of it in Italian instead of apologizing. Apparently this restaurant doesn't value service or decorum at all. If you want to eat well, you should go to the center instead of spending your money in this restaurant.

05/08/2024: Our family of five went there for dinner on one of our last days here in Italy, and Venice. The atmosphere was lively and warm. Felt like a very family oriented restaurant. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful, and the food was really good! The restaurant had a good wine list, a various menu and some lovely desserts. The food was top notch for all five of us, and we will absolutely come back next time we are in the area!

30/06/2024: We stayed in Venice May 25-28 and enjoyed 2 dinners during our stay. Our waiter Marwin gave us excellent service both nights. One night we enjoyed the sea bass which completely encrusted in salt then baked and then Marwin broke off the salt at the table and filleted the fish. Absolutely delicious! Both evenings we were seated at the end of the floating dock and enjoyed the beautiful views.

11/06/2024: Bien sûr il y a l’emplacement : avec vue. Le service est aimable. Les plats sont de qualité correcte avec des portions suffisantes. Très bon rapport qualité/prix du Spritz + cicchettis. Terrasse très agréable.

17/08/2024: We went to buy slices of pizza late at night because it had a good rating. But we found hard pizzas (like dry ones) with flavorless ingredients. A place that, in my experience, only served to kill our hunger but that I would not recommend or return to. Of course, they treated us with kindness.

14/07/2024: Un esperienza terribile. Attesa biblica, ma partiamo dall'inizio, ordiniamo due paste con i fasolari (salatissima e piena di sabbia) una bottiglia di vino rosso (imbevibile da quanto fosse caldo, a mio avviso impresentabile a tavola) ed una grigliata mista di carne dove arriva il bello.. chiedo cortesemente di avere un pezzo in più di pollo e la cameriera dice che non ci sono problemi, attendiamo più di un ora e mezza e si presenta con questa grigliata senza pollo dicendo che era finito, la salsiccia era immangiabile, le puntine di coste presentate che non darei nemmeno al cane (per intenderci) qualità del cibo pessima!! Ah..oltretutto nemmeno un € di sconto dopo tutte le proteste.

28/06/2024: The food, the ambience and the view are really excellent. We visited the restaurant during peak time around 1pm and encountered a long line to order. However, the team is well prepared and distributes beepers to signal when the food is ready. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our club sandwich and fries, which was disappointing. It would have been nice to get the fries in a timely manner. The staff seemed experienced in dealing with the rush, but not particularly friendly. Luckily we had chips with us to tide the kids over, but an hour wait is an absolute no-go. That's why I'm deducting a star. Nevertheless, the restaurant remains recommended for its great food and lovely atmosphere.
