24/08/2025: We had lunch at this wonderful little restaurant, tucked away in the narrow streets of Venice. It was a memorable and delicious experience, with elaborate dishes and great wine recommendations from the team.
The Vitello Tonnato is a pure delight.
It was a pleasure to have lunch at this little restaurant. We'll be back. 🌞🍝💛

20/08/2025: I love it, we love it. We've been coming to Union Lido for seven years, and Al Mare is our favorite restaurant. The food here is simply excellent, the value for money is good, and if the kids get bored after eating, they go to the playground on the beach.

But the quality is superb. I think it's the first time it's been this good.
My compliments for the quality of the ingredients.
16/08/2025: We chose this pizzeria by consulting Google Maps. We were two adults and two children. We chose four pizzas, a spritz, water, and a beer. At the recommendation of a very kind and cheerful waitress, we also ordered a chocolate cake, black truffle, and homemade tiramisu. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: My first experience of Cicchetti and it did not disappoint! The gorgonzola anchovies Cicchetti was my favourite, and there are plenty of options for all tastes and desires. Very cute venetian setting next to the canal - there are some cute seats with windows that open up to the canal. Honestly this was one of my favourite places in Venice. It felt very authentic. Highly recommend.

31/08/2025: As far back as I can remember, Scarso has always been around, and it's always been a guarantee of good, traditional food, without unnecessary extras. The quality of the food they serve is high. The spaghetti with squid ink is delicious, as is the seafood appetizer. The licorice-flavored sgroppino is interesting. The staff is truly friendly and professional.

29/08/2025: I feel sorry for people who pay 70€ for 2 pasta dishes and one starter and give good reviews for this place as they definitely haven’t eaten good Italian pasta. The house wine was fine, the starter was not bad, but pasta dish was really below any expectations. It felt like whole package of spaghetti pasta cooked with barely any vongole. The other pasta dish was also not good, with tomato sauce leaving a lot to wish for..

26/08/2025: The restaurant had a charming and atmospheric setting. I began with the crab pasta, which was passable but lacked depth of flavor. For the main course, I chose the cuttlefish with polenta, which, unfortunately, was one of the most disappointing dishes I’ve encountered. The texture was overly liquid, resembling gruel or puréed baby food, making it quite unappetising. I’m genuinely surprised this restaurant came recommended by a Michelin-starred chef. I do not recommend.
