03/01/2026: Everyone raves about it, but it's a shame that on Saturday they brought me a mixed grill that tasted like cod. What a disappointment! Being a pensioner on the bare minimum, I had saved up, but I regret it all! You can't reheat leftovers from the day before. 😩

19/01/2026: I occasionally frequent this now historic restaurant in the center of Este. I can say I've always enjoyed excellent pizzas and a solid menu. In other words, it's one of those places where you eat REALLY WELL and without frills. The restaurant is clean, very spacious, with an outdoor veranda and a lovely little garden for relaxing on summer evenings. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. The owner's professionalism and friendliness are combined with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. What more can I say? A well-deserved five stars.

08/03/2026: Highly recommended! We chose this location to celebrate our son's baptism, and we were very happy with it: we were supported and advised in the days leading up to the party, so that it would be the best it could be, according to our wishes. On the day of the party, the food was excellent (3 appetizers, 2 first courses, dessert), the wine was more than appreciated, and the staff was always present, helpful, and friendly. And finally, excellent value for money.

24/10/2025: It's a pleasant little establishment with two terraces, offering ice cream, pastries, and various snacks. Otherwise, it's a perfectly normal bar. The problem is that, among other drinks, we ordered a birra bionda piccola, in other words, a 20cl draft beer. I was very surprised to pay €4 for this beer, which is more expensive than in big cities in upscale cafes. In other words, a rip-off for the tourists that we are, the ones who support them. Lamentable. PS: I didn't say anything, being allergic to scandals.

05/03/2026: The restaurant has the disadvantage of being located near a small square that on weekends is generally crowded with second-generation Italians who are often tipsy, stoned, and quarrelsome. The atmosphere is a bit cold and sparse, despite the building being anything but ugly. The pizzas are expensive, more than the average for similar places in Piove di Sacco. The ingredients are of decent quality, and the overall quality is good, but not enough to justify prices found in downtown cities or tourist destinations. The service was subpar; breadsticks were missing from the table (not mandatory, but always appreciated), and I noticed that the very eager young waiters had gotten a couple of orders wrong. A little more organization wouldn't hurt, given that the restaurant has excellent potential.

11/11/2025: Very welcoming place. Very fast. And the pizza 🍕😋 is very good. I recommend it to everyone.

05/01/2026: I spent New Year's Eve there and I was very happy with both the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. I danced a lot to the music that took me back to the past... DJ Simone Blanco was great👍

04/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner, poor quality food, good entertainment, adequate value for money

03/12/2025: Some friends suggested we go for a drink after dinner; the atmosphere was very nice and the waitresses were kind. Everything was fine until a young man went to the bar to order a drink and the older lady (the owner?) started raising her voice and verbally attacking him over no reason. The young man went to sit down without responding, while the two waitresses looked at each other awkwardly. To make the evening even more unpleasant, the owner decided to start cleaning the floor next to us, compulsively talking to herself loudly, saying things like, "Look at this guy with that s*** face." Talking about it a bit over the next few days, we learned that the lady is known for this kind of behavior, but beyond her reputation, such a reaction was disproportionate and ruined the evening for everyone: for us, for that young man, and for the waitresses, who knows how many such outbursts they see.

03/11/2025: The Librosteria offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The selection of books is varied and well-thought out, and every piece of furniture has a purpose, like the small sitting area on the right in the entrance. It's a place to visit for intellectual stimulation, as well as for the pleasure of listening to the owner discuss titles and authors she knows how to make you want to know in just a few minutes. A bonus for such a special place is the opportunity to sample a well-stocked vegetarian and vegan menu.

14/03/2026: I asked for prosciutto and grilled peppers, but instead they gave me warmed sweet and sour peppers. I won't be going back.

02/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise: not all that glitters is gold. Sometimes the "normal" (forgive me the word I hate) places are the ones that surprise you. Courtesy and helpfulness are top notch. Authentic and sincere dishes. As a pizza-loving Campanian, I can tell you that the pizzas here are truly delicious: the one in the photo is especially overcooked at my specific request. Two tips: try the red wine from the Euganean Hills, also on tap. Grown on clayey and volcanic soil, it has a FABULOUS sulfurous flavor! And, for those like me who hadn't heard of it, the PAZIENTINA cake was a fantastic discovery: it's become one of my favorite desserts. Great courtesy and hospitality: the Venetians are (allow me the twinning) the "Neapolitans of the north": friendliness, practicality, and high-level professionalism. Affordable prices. Highly recommended! ❤️

15/12/2025: Overall, we were quite satisfied. I recommend the cooked salami appetizer; the wild boar ragù first course was too salty; the pumpkin pie was good; and there's a wide selection of wines. The staff was friendly and helpful.
