I ordered pizzas to take away. They are very good. Large with a thin base. Very good value especially when compared to London! 2 pizzas for €15. Quick efficient service.

I occasionally frequent this now historic restaurant in the center of Este. I can say I've always enjoyed excellent pizzas and a solid menu. In other words, it's one of those places where you eat REALLY WELL and without frills. The restaurant is clean, very spacious, with an outdoor veranda and a lovely little garden for relaxing on summer evenings. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. The owner's professionalism and friendliness are combined with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. What more can I say? A well-deserved five stars.

Ristorante Villa Contarini

08/04/2026: There were 22 of us on Easter Monday. The atmosphere was intimate and very welcoming; an almost hidden villa with lovely outdoor spaces. Clean bathrooms. The food was simple and simple, perfect for people who want to eat healthily and simply: that doesn't mean it was tasteless, on the contrary! The fruit salad was made with fresh fruit cut to order, without any unnecessary juices. They tell me the pizza is also excellent... we'll definitely be back to try this version from Villa Contarini. Oh! I FORGOT!!! It made the waiters' smiles pop. WELL DONE!
06/04/2026: Superb...we had lunch there during a bike ride with about twenty friends. Excellent food, fast and friendly service, and a lightly topped meal, everything from appetizer to dessert was delicious. A friend said the pizza was even better, and the price was lower than average. It's definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area. Charming, well-maintained places. A truly excellent choice by the organizers.
