26/06/2025: The dishes were also good, eh… shame about the staff, who seemed annoyed just by looking at us. Maybe our southern accent wasn’t appreciated, who knows. In any case, when I go out to eat I expect at least not to feel like I’m in the way. The welcome wasn’t exactly homely.

07/06/2025: Al Cason... completely renovated in recent years... change of management... you eat and spend like a trattoria, I went with friends because one of them, Davide Pomponio, that evening animated the place with live music where at a certain time we also danced, a beautiful evening.

Il personale è cordiale e riesce subito a far sentire a casa ogni cliente. La cucina offre piatti tipici chioggiotti, presentati con cura e cucinati alla perfezione: ogni portata esalta la freschezza e la qualità delle materie prime, con un menù che privilegia sapori di mare. Dagli antipasti ai dolci, si percepisce una grande attenzione per i dettagli. Prezzi giusti per un’esperienza che lascia il segno.

05/04/2025: Trattoria of the past and for this reason I gave it 4 stars. We had dinner on a Friday evening at 7.30pm. There were only 2 other people. The place is run by an elderly couple who are very busy but we waited almost twenty minutes to order and without finishing because the "waiter" went into the kitchen to see the available side dishes and came back with the second courses on the plate (a good cod and horse stew). ....but without side dishes. We saw that at 8pm the waitress arrived, the room was filled with many guests and what had been denied to us (fried potatoes and risotto...) was offered. In conclusion... I recommend, for dinner, going after 8pm and perhaps with a group of more people. Would I go back? Yes.

16/02/2025: Ho provato questo locale spinta dalle belle recensioni viste, ma purtroppo sono rimasta estremamente delusa. Di sardo, a parte le bandiere ed il maialino (buono, ma non eccezionale), non ho trovato altro. Antipasti e vino di dubbia qualità, primo che non ho proprio capito (spaghetti salatissimi con bottarga), dessert non presenti. Il conto è stato anche più salato della pasta! Avrei comunque dato almeno 2 punti per la gentilezza del personale, se non fosse che la notte mi sono svegliata con crampi di stomaco e nausea.

19/06/2025: Dinner for two, I needed to spend a special evening and I had a great time. The atmosphere is refined and the owner, Mario di Natale, was very kind from the start, making us feel at ease. We started with a really good small entrée (zucchini flowers, vegetables and very thin puff pastry), then a spectacular octopus appetizer with burrata and croutons and a second course of tuna on a sweet and sour base that was perfectly balanced. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest details, from the service to the dishes. The surprise even at the cash register with the final discount! I take responsibility in highly recommending this place.

21/06/2025: Charming structure just outside the center of Padua. I had the opportunity to appreciate their genuineness and courtesy, through their dishes, simple but very well-prepared and well-presented. The owner, Mrs. Enrica, is adorable and all the staff is dynamic and smiling. I did not stay in the rooms, but the structure is very well kept, both inside and in the wonderful outdoor park. The little ones can play freely and see up close the animals that are raised with passion and attention. I will definitely return!

19/06/2025: I attended a lunch on the occasion of a celebration, a beautiful place on the outskirts of Padua, easy to reach with ample parking. The structure is typical of agritourism, beautiful with a large green space with trees. We had lunch outside under the large porch which however turned out to be an oven. It is true that the day was extremely hot, but hosting outdoors means still guaranteeing the minimum conditions of comfort. Between one course and the next everyone got up to go and look for a breath of fresh air in the adjacent garden. It was a great sacrifice for adults and children. The staff, although extremely kind, friendly and helpful, was not enough to manage the situation. Freshly cold water, almost cold meat and then bread. Initially served only a small basket with garlic bread and biscuit bread. No gentlemen, with biscuit bread at most someone can have breakfast. It cannot be served for lunch. In agritourism you also expect a good variety of bread made from refined flours. I would like to suggest you find an adequate ventilation/cooling system for the large porch that really offers great potential for spending wonderful days.

05/06/2025: This place is fantastic! A rare place even in a big city like Milan is nestled in an ancient village. Here you can find the best drinks in all of Veneto and a passionate, professional and very friendly staff. I recommend it, to go at least once in your life!
