17/09/2025: This is a very good hotel offering anything what is needed for a good stay includinga safe. The room i had was very nice, quite, in good conditions and very clean. The restaurant offered excellent food quality. The breakfast was typical for the region and well equipped A special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. Bottomline, a very good hotel in the Venice/Padua region. Clear recommendation, however, in my opinion not worth the 5 stars they are showing.

17/10/2025: I was pleasantly surprised and fascinated by this wine bar. Elegant but not gaudy, with a wide selection of wines, labels, products, and various delicacies. It's a great place to buy bottles and various items for pouring and tasting, and a great place to enjoy aperitifs, cocktails, beer, and pre-dinner and aperitif drinks. A wonderful menu, rich in ideas, dishes, and delicacies to suit all tastes, with many original, sophisticated, and delicious options. A truly wonderful place, run by two women (as I read on their menu) who are certainly very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and incredibly competent and professional. Even the two waitresses, although young, were very attentive, cheerful, and skilled at what they did. The bathroom is also worthy of mention: it's very well-kept and clean, and despite there being only one, it's large and beautifully decorated with taste and elegance. I can only recommend stopping by, coming in, and trying something. You'll surely be satisfied, happy, and will return. When I have the chance to pass by, I'm sure to stop by because it's a delightful gem, a truly respectable venue and wine bar. 11/10/2025: I was at the bar a few nights ago and witnessed a horrifying scene. The owner, visibly unclear, railed against a young man, claiming he hadn't paid for his drink. The young man tried to explain that he wanted to pay, but the owner refused because he had waited 40 minutes for a drink even though the place wasn't crowded. The owner then also addressed my group of friends in a very rude tone and manner. I definitely won't be returning.

02/09/2025: As a reviewer (and food enthusiast) who's always looking for new places to try, I often rely on online reviews to discover hidden gems in the area. This time, the positive reviews of Bar Raniolo 1977 in Caltagirone caught my attention, especially for their self-service lunch buffet. The idea of ​​a quick but tasty meal convinced me to stop by. ​The Lunch Experience: Highlights and Highlights .............................................................. ​The buffet offered a good variety of dishes, and I must admit, I started off on the right foot: the lasagna was truly remarkable. I could taste the quality ingredients, and the flavor was balanced and satisfying. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm faded almost immediately. The rice was flavorless, the eggplant completely lacked salt, and the meat was average; I've had better. ​But the real disappointment came with the arancini. I figured that, being a Sicilian restaurant, at least the arancini would surprise me. Instead, it turned out incredibly dry. The texture was good, but the lack of moisture drowned out all the flavors, making it almost inedible. I also wanted to try the gluten-free arancini that were available: a brave choice, but the result was, quite simply, disgusting. A glimmer of hope: the pastry shop .............................................................. ​The only truly positive note came unexpectedly from the pastry shop. We decided to try some desserts I'd never seen before, and I was pleasantly surprised. They were delicious, fresh, and carefully crafted. They weren't "exceptional," but they certainly made a huge difference compared to the rest of the food. If I were to return, it would be for the pastry shop alone. ​Service and cleanliness: the sore points .............................................................. ​The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. However, there is one area that needs improvement: cleanliness. Despite the nature of the place (a self-service bar), the tables and floor looked neglected. A little more attention in this regard would make a big difference. Another annoying detail was the air conditioning. We reported it, but were told it was on full blast, even though the air was anything but cool. Small details that, when added together, impact the overall experience. Final Verdict ................................................................ ​Considering the overall experience, I can't give Bar Raniolo 1977 a rating higher than 3 stars. While the pastries and lasagna are noteworthy, the disappointments with the rest of the buffet and the arancini, combined with the lack of cleanliness and service, weigh too heavily on the final rating. ​I don't think I'll return for a full lunch, but perhaps in the future for a quick coffee and dessert.

27/07/2025: Tout à été parfait du début à la fin, malgré le fait que nous sommes arrivés 1h à l’avance sur l’heure prévue dans la réservation. Le service a été attentionné et rapide comme on le souhaitait. Le plat étaient tous délicieux avec un coup de cœur pour la Zuppa di pesce qui était fantastique. Le choix des vins est aussi excellent avec des vins au verre très intéressants. Le choix des matières premières est incroyable et on a terminé le repas avec un café éthiopien qui était excellent. Merci pour votre accueil

10/05/2025: ENVIRONMENT: Family characteristic. Kind and cheerful. SERVICE: Fast and punctual. FOOD: The best arancini you will ever taste, the name Gustó is not by chance 😏 - Arancini of various flavours, the spaghetti ones are the local brand, in the area they have tried to imitate them but with failure, I would suggest trying the ones with sausage and Friarielli (You can also ask for 'Arancina alla Clara'). I don't know if they still make it with mortadella, it's a gourmet arancina. The raw material is the strong point, no processed cheese or other rubbish but only fresh and high quality products. 10/05/2025 - Mr.Matteo Di Marco - says: I have dressed the arancini and they are controversial - This gentleman doesn't explain why he found them "Disgusting" after he Asciagiati. "It would have been useful to explain what he found disgusting, the top quality rice? The high-end mozzarella? The golden and careful breading? The fresh sauce with meat sauce like my grandmother made? I invite this gentleman to try again, perhaps taking the time to slowly taste the arancini that are more in line with tradition and unique in their quality. Maybe next time he will find them less "Disgusting".

19/10/2025: My partner and I stop by for breakfast on Thursdays, after returning from the market. They have an excellent cappuccino with soy milk or rice and almond milk (sometimes they also have oat milk, my favorite). They also have a great selection of vegan croissants (my favorite is lemon and chamomile!). The waitresses are always kind and helpful. We hope they expand their vegan options beyond breakfast. :)

20/10/2025: The atmosphere is very familiar, as a trattoria should be, well-kept and tidy. The first thing that struck us was that the ingredients used in most of the dishes are local, simple dishes without any particular embellishments. For starters, we ordered a portion of soppressa with polenta and a fried mushroom sandwich with speck from the plateau. For main courses, we had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and chanterelles and a lasagna with chicken ragù and drunken cheese. We shared a side dish, which in our case was a plate of sbrise, two desserts (a tiramisu and a Moscato burnt cream), two glasses of local wine, and two coffees...all for €92.
