06/04/2026: This place has the worst hospitality i ever encountered. Even dare to call it hostile. We were just about parking outside of the restaurant private parking (road side) and have one guy even not asking if we were going to eat there (which was actually our plan) immediately saying we could not park because it was “his property” and he owned everything. Not even one sign of private parking or property at sight. They think they own the entire pass road. Do not even give money to people like this. You have much better options couple meters above

16/05/2026: At the Belluno cicchetti evening, they offered Sicilian-style baked pasta and arancini. Both dishes were fabulous. The staff offered us an extra beer and an extra arancini; they were very welcoming and kind. I'll definitely be back. Bravo!

10/05/2026: I ordered a simple pizza alla diavola (with spicy salami) with fries and Spianata Calabra. Result? The pizza arrived with the Spianata Calabra (a type of Calabrian flatbread) NOT COOKED. The fries were practically NON-EXISTENT. The spicy salami was FORGOTTEN. Completely WITHOUT SALT. Highly recommended pizzeria. 😉

19/02/2026: In this place, forget the rush, because as soon as you cross the threshold, you enter another world, filled with authentic and genuine gestures. Elena and Davide will welcome you with their warmth and a menu of ancient flavors. Everything is expertly cooked on the wood stove by Elena, while Davide will enchant you with his stories of Grappa or one of the myriad artifacts expertly displayed in the showcases of their little refuge. It's one of those places that stays in your heart.

29/01/2026: The food is excellent, both the grain minestrone and the honey-cooked meat, both very sweet and tender. The homemade bread is also delicious. The prices are a bit high, but you pay for the quality and craftsmanship. The owners are very welcoming and attentive, and occasionally organize themed educational evenings. The refuge is half an hour from Seren del Grappa and is located along the provincial road, making it easy to get to. Thank you for your hospitality; it's always a pleasure to return.

16/05/2026: We visited this place remembering the takeout we'd ordered one evening while staying nearby. And the dishes confirmed our memories: very good and flavorful. The place is welcoming, with cloth tablecloths and napkins with paper-cloth covers. Decent wine by the glass. The prices are all right, except perhaps for the water. The staff is courteous but a little "strained." There's nothing to complain about in terms of professionalism, politeness, or helpfulness, of course, but compared to the hearty laughs among the regulars, the difference with the out-of-towners was noticeable. I think I'll gladly return anyway.

05/05/2026: Everything was very good!! Quiet place and good food!!!

27/06/2026: While staying in Belluno, six of us popped into La Trapola for pasta, and it was a hit. A relaxed, holiday atmosphere, everything was a plus. The carbonara was creamy, substantial, and beautifully served in an aluminum pan, which did the trick. The portions were generous; even I left feeling full, and I enjoy good food. The service was unhurried, and everything was efficient. The staff was happy, our bellies were full—it was simply a good dinner.

24/06/2026: We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, and Benny made it even more special. He was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. 27/08/2025: This was the best Rifugio we stayed at during our Alta Via Hike. It is technically little off the route, but is definitely worth the detour. The room was spacious, compared to many others we experienced. Since they can accomodate only about 10 people, there is a very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the dinner was by far the best. It was also possible to order from regular menu, since they host other customers. I cannot recommend it enough :)

21/08/2025: We hadn't booked, but the girl found us a table for two (so far so good). We waited 25 minutes before they asked us for drinks. Another 10 minutes for the menu. But despite this, the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The prices were quite high, but good.

19/05/2026: A refined atmosphere immersed in nature gives the restaurant a unique setting. The cuisine always ensures authenticity, unique flavors, and unique tastes, like the rose risotto we had the pleasure of tasting. It's always a pleasure to return, and we'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: I celebrated my 49th birthday! I'm happy with my choice. I received a special welcome, we ate very, very well, with quality products and a very unique way of preparing them. 24/01/2026: What an absolute treasure this place is. Spent 5 days skiing with Tiziana and being treated to superb hospitality by Gianluca and his team. The accomodations were comfortable and the dinners were delicious (thank you Carmine!) ... And the views each morning (see pictures) were simply stunning. If you have a chance to go and stay here during the winter ski season ... JUST DO IT and thank me later!

31/05/2026: I visited Pian Formosa with some friends after the change of management, and we were all very satisfied. The new management won us over with their courtesy, helpfulness, and passion for their work. The food is excellent, carefully prepared with local products, showcasing mountain traditions to the fullest. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, making you feel immediately at ease. The service was also attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The real added value, however, is the view: a breathtaking panorama that makes the experience even more pleasant and relaxing. A place where you eat well, feel good, and want to return. Congratulations to the new management for their work. Highly recommended! 10/05/2026: The agriturismo is in a corner of paradise, and the management, led by Sara and Igor, is excellent. We had a great group today and had a wonderful time. The food, service, and friendliness were all excellent. Definitely worth repeating. Daria and Marco
