10/05/2026: I ordered a simple pizza alla diavola (with spicy salami) with fries and Spianata Calabra. Result? The pizza arrived with the Spianata Calabra (a type of Calabrian flatbread) NOT COOKED. The fries were practically NON-EXISTENT. The spicy salami was FORGOTTEN. Completely WITHOUT SALT. Highly recommended pizzeria. 😉

13/04/2026: This historic establishment was recently completely renovated. Inside and outside seating, right in the city center and just a few meters from the monumental church. Good gelato and—now—good coffee, thanks also to the manual pressurized machine. A selection of savory and sweet treats. I don't drink alcohol, but it seems like that kind of demand is met very well.

13/03/2026: The view is beautiful, the food is good, and the service is excellent. It takes three hours to reach it, but the trail to get there is stunning, with woods, cliffs, streams, and spectacular waterfalls.

28/04/2026: After a beautiful day on the snow with my snowboard, it's time for some refreshment! What better place than the Tabià Palazza? A family-run mountain hut where customer service is paramount! Just steps from the Fedaia Pass, it's located at a strategic crossroads between those descending from the Marmolada and the Padon Pass. The owner, Francesca, took over the reins of this mountain hut after the untimely passing of her father. She's an AIS sommelier, ready to advise and satisfy even the most demanding palates. The mountain hut, rigorously built in rustic mountain style, first captivates guests with its music and then with its culinary offerings, with particular attention to those like me who require a gluten-free diet. It offers typical Dolomite dishes and Italian cuisine. The menu stands out for its home-made dishes such as spätzle, tagliatelle with game ragù, eggs, speck, and potatoes, as well as homemade desserts such as raspberry tart. I visited this refuge twice this winter, ordering a plate of speck, venison carpaccio, and the place's true specialty: the tagliata di stracotto, a unique mixed beef and pork cut! The meals were accompanied by Lagrein and Merlot. Of course, the bombardino and tiramisu were also available, made exclusively for celiacs. I will return to this wonderful place soon. Thank you for everything.

08/04/2026: Definitely go for the venison here, they make it really soft and tender. Update, we visited 1 year later and again it was excellent. Probably my favorite restaurant for lunch during skiing in the bigger Sella Ronda region.

02/05/2026: The view is magnificent, but the first impression is of a bit of neglect, with services included. The dining room, however, is beautiful, with a spacious fireplace, open-plan rooms, and comfortable furnishings. The service...men first, then women, but not always... Sauvignon A.A. from where? Well, on the label it says "near Garda"?! (That's true, the company, not the wine)... find out first! Bitter escargots: mallow and absinthe, but why?!? "Oriental" rice with finger-squeezed lime, overcooked, lacking in character, crispy lasagna, dry and tough, good scallops, and salmon too—your expectations are severely affected by reality. The bill is a Michelin-starred dish, but the star... I thank the chef who came to the table and offered a tasting of his exquisite wild boar salamis.

The dining room staff deserves equally high praise: professional, attentive, and always friendly, they put guests at ease, discreetly guiding them throughout the tasting experience. The service is impeccable and contributes to making the experience even more memorable. The dishes, meticulously crafted down to the smallest aesthetic and flavorful detail, demonstrate a constant pursuit of perfection. Every element on the plate has a precise meaning, and nothing is left to chance. An experience that goes beyond simple dining: it's a true sensory journey that I highly recommend to anyone who loves haute cuisine. Congratulations again to the chef and the entire team for their excellence.

27/08/2025: This was the best Rifugio we stayed at during our Alta Via Hike. It is technically little off the route, but is definitely worth the detour. The room was spacious, compared to many others we experienced. Since they can accomodate only about 10 people, there is a very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the dinner was by far the best. It was also possible to order from regular menu, since they host other customers. I cannot recommend it enough :)

21/08/2025: We hadn't booked, but the girl found us a table for two (so far so good). We waited 25 minutes before they asked us for drinks. Another 10 minutes for the menu. But despite this, the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The prices were quite high, but good.
