Ristorante Pizzeria Case Rosse
Feltre
28/01/2026: Fantastic!!! But the waiters could have been a little more attentive; it took too long for anyone to notice that I wanted dessert.
25/01/2026: I had lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria Case Rosse, and overall, the experience was truly positive. The restaurant is well-maintained, welcoming, and well-organized, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease, whether for a quiet dinner or an evening with friends. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, always attentive to customer needs and ready to offer courteous advice.
The quality of the food is unquestionable: the ingredients are fresh, well-prepared, and the dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. The pizza also deserves a special mention, with a well-cooked, light dough and balanced, flavorful toppings. The care and passion in the kitchen are clearly evident, and it's something that really makes a difference.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the dishes. Although they are very good and carefully prepared, the portions are quite small compared to the asking price. The quality is there, but the quantity is truly limited, and this can leave you slightly disappointed, especially considering the price. With slightly larger portions or slightly lower prices, the experience would be truly impeccable.
That said, everything else was practically perfect: the service, ambiance, and overall quality are top-notch. It's a restaurant I definitely recommend, especially to those looking for a refined setting and well-crafted cuisine, while keeping this small aspect in mind. A well-deserved 4-star rating, with the potential to easily become a 5-star.

02/02/2026: The ice cream is special, the best in quality!!
30/01/2026: The interior was recently updated, and I really liked its vintage feel.
The staff is very friendly; we stop by if we're in the area for a day trip. It's also great for breakfast. Some vegan croissants would be perfect.

Rifugio Val Tosella
Arsiè
29/01/2026: The food is excellent, both the grain minestrone and the honey-cooked meat, both very sweet and tender. The homemade bread is also delicious. The prices are a bit high, but you pay for the quality and craftsmanship. The owners are very welcoming and attentive, and occasionally organize themed educational evenings. The refuge is half an hour from Seren del Grappa and is located along the provincial road, making it easy to get to. Thank you for your hospitality; it's always a pleasure to return.
08/01/2026: As always, you stumbled upon it by chance!
4 or 5 tables for 4 or 6 people, no more, snow outside and a fireplace inside, you just want to stay. The menu consists of 4-6 typical mountain dishes.
Canederli with smoked ricotta, I think, but I remember the two dishes we had well: roast shank with boiled potatoes and raw cabbage with fennel, and goulash with mushrooms and polenta.
We don't drink wine and opted for two 1/2-liter bottles of beer; they had Pedavena and coffee.
The portions were really generous.
Let's say that for us, €22.50 for a single dish was perhaps the end of the day. With €7 per bottle, €1.30 for coffee, and a €2 cover charge, it seemed a bit pricey, but in the mountains, a typical restaurant is acceptable!
The walls and ceiling of the room are lined with display cases containing relics from the Great War; they call them, not surprisingly, a museum.
The food was good, the place was picturesque, the day was pleasant, the company was excellent—what more can I say? ...

Ristorante Pizzeria Karl Keller
Sappada
13/03/2026: Delicious pizza, quiet and welcoming atmosphere.
28/02/2026: A small, cozy restaurant with a bar. The food is home-cooked and delicious. We ordered the Stinco di maiale e gulash. The meat was very well cooked and tender. The fondant dessert was also excellent. The only downside is the small portions.

ristorantino ai Lali
Forno di zoldo
05/03/2026: I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants because I prefer to discuss them in person with the owners (as I did with Andrea), but reading some of the reviews of this little restaurant, I can't see so much nastiness in people who don't realize that with their comments, which I think are overly nasty, they risk ruining this little new establishment!
So, let me tell you about my experience...
I had dinner with my partner on February 14th (not even realizing it was Valentine's Day when we booked). We came here on the recommendation of friends and my parents who had been before us, and everyone was thrilled!
We had a wonderful time. It's a small, family-run mountain restaurant, so 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, and 3 second courses seems like a more than excellent deal for a mountain restaurant! If you're not used to this, it's better to eat at large restaurants where they host special events. Rest assured, you'll find at least 10 specials for each course... and the quality isn't even guaranteed! But... is it so hard to choose between 9 options, including both meat-based and vegetarian options?!?!
On the other hand, my partner and I found the dishes truly tasty, well-balanced, and perfectly portioned. The steak was cooked rare (as I requested) to perfection! The meat was tender and juicy, the side dishes wonderful. The frico my partner had and the accompanying vegetables were a delight. For starters, I had the pumpkin cake, which was perfectly balanced by the cheese fondue on top. The carne salada my partner had was incredibly fresh and perfect with the accompanying salad.
The place is small, with just a few tables, but that makes it even more cozy and intimate!
Even though it was busy, the chatter of the people sitting at the neighboring tables wasn't a nuisance. We quickly found parking right in front of the front door (there's room for at least four cars), or across the street there's a large parking lot at the Hotel Corona where you can park easily.
The waiter who served us was extremely kind throughout the dinner, making sure we enjoyed it. And, as an extra treat, they were very kind to give red roses to all the women in the restaurant for Valentine's Day.
What can I say... it was an excellent experience for us, we were truly happy, and when we return to Zoldo, we'll definitely eat here again!! As I said before, if you're not used to enjoying a dinner like this, eating a few simple but authentic dishes in a small mountain village, it's best to choose something else and not constantly complain about everything, especially on social media, trying to undermine a small, but truly worthy, place!
21/02/2026: A menu with only 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 2 second courses, and a single radicchio side dish!? Never seen anything like it. Dirty restrooms! Raw baked potatoes. Not recommended! No cold cuts platter offered, no grilled meats. Evening!

Rifugio Su'n Paradis
Zoldo alto
18/02/2026: Stunning location. Breathtaking views of the Civetta. Extremely friendly staff. Impeccable decor and service. Today we stopped for a break from skiing and were also treated to venison fillet and grilled ribs, simply SUBLIME!!!
We'll definitely be back for lunch, and if this is the case, it's a sure bet. Highly recommended!
08/02/2026: Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom, there was a refuge with a promising name: Su'n Paradis.
And like every respectable fairytale, this one begins with a storm: it snowed so hard that not even the spirits of the slopes dared leave their homes. There wasn't a soul in sight, only us, hungry, cold, and still stubbornly hopeful.
In front of the refuge, the snow reigned supreme. Not exactly pristine, to be honest: here and there, you could see confused footprints, signs of passage, mysterious footsteps of unidentified creatures.
My friend, with a pure heart and the playful spirit of a child, decided to celebrate it with an ancient and sacred gesture: the Angel in the Snow.
But then, as in the darkest fairy tales, the Guardian of the Fresh Snow appeared from the depths of the refuge. With the emotional energy of a Miss Rottenmeier, his brusque and judgmental tone, capable of freezing the blood more than a blizzard, made us understand that we were committing an unforgivable crime: touching snow that, in his opinion, existed only to be preserved, not to welcome angels.
Too bad that snow, pure and virgin only in his imagination, had already been trampled. So rude that I didn't even have the courage to point out the obvious: the angel hadn't desecrated anything at all.
Immediately afterward, as if to rebalance the karma of the universe, the real Angel arrives. A boy with a beautiful, sweet smile, charged with raising a ribbon to delimit the sacred boundary of the snow. With disarming kindness, he tells us that, if it were up to him, we could have rolled around in peace.
We thank him, deeply moved🥹.
The fairytale still had hope!
We finally entered the refuge.
My friend, already battered by a series of misfortunes worthy of a Disney princess, ordered meatballs with mashed potatoes. We were starving, ready to eat the table, chairs, and maybe a bench.
After a few bites, she looked at me seriously and asked me to try: those weren't meatballs.
They were a conceptual experiment. An artistic collage of meat scraps, with finely chopped sinew, but not enough to go unnoticed. Every bite was a surprise, every chew a test of character. Now, I'm not a big fan of Venetian-style sinew, but if I want Venetian-style sinew, I order them knowingly; I don't find them hidden like a gastronomic Easter egg.
The mashed potatoes? Good... but with that delicate, unmistakable aftertaste of instant noodles. For a refuge, that's fine, of course, but the price told a different story.
And as if that weren't enough, we turn around and, outside the refuge, who do we find?
Him, of course.
The Keeper of Fresh Snow, now busy shoveling snow all around the refuge, including the spots that, shortly before, he said, couldn't even be breathed in, lest they ruin its sacredness.
The magic ends.
We've been coming here for years and have always had a great time. This time, however, it felt like the wicked witch's refuge.
The only saving grace are the staff members: two or three very kind girls and the boy with the kind smile.
Moral of the story?
In the mountains you can find snow, cold, hunger...
but the real avalanche, sometimes, is rudeness. ❄️

Ristorante Bar Tabià Palazza

28/02/2026: We stopped for an espresso on the way to the Marmolada and enjoyed a delicious carpaccio and carbonara in the sun on the way back. Perfect location right on the slopes; we were served immediately both times. The food was delicious and the prices were more than fair! The service was attentive and friendly. We would definitely stop here again on our Marmolada tour! 👍😎
22/02/2026: Beef steak 10/10 delicious! Soft, Turkish delight!

Ristorante Pizzeria Grande Guerra
Alleghe
23/02/2026: Good-quality traditional food, friendly and helpful staff. A well-maintained, traditional restaurant. Dogs are welcome.
04/01/2026: We were disappointed by the quality of the food. A trio of dumplings, beautiful to look at but flavorless, and porcini mushroom tortelli, probably purchased, similar to Rana's. The pork shank was precooked and heavy.
The place is well-kept, warm, and traditional. It's a shame the food quality isn't up to par.
Fair prices.

Casera Vecia
Limana
08/03/2026: Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff! We'll be back and highly recommend it. The products, such as wine, meat, mushrooms, cheese, salami, etc., are all homemade!
01/03/2026: Excellent lunch, shame about the ending.
We had lunch at this beautiful agriturismo, the food was excellent, and my compliments to the girls, who were always helpful and smiling. Once we left, we stood there looking at the view, and I approached three dogs locked in a cage. At that point, a middle-aged waiter (or owner) came out and muttered something. I simply said, "Poor things, it would be nice to see them free (considering the size of the agriturismo). He replied that the owner would be arriving soon and would take them to the mountains. I smiled and said goodbye. I should point out that I wasn't disrespectful, I didn't judge the dogs' condition, I didn't do anything wrong, I just expressed a thought. Back in the kitchen (with the door to the courtyard open), the gentleman began to rant at me, verbatim: "Poor dogs, yes, poor dogs, you s... Dog, poor dogs, you s... animal rights activists, and so on, for at least 5 or 6 minutes."
I'm not an animal rights activist; I'm the daughter of a hunter, and I didn't object to the dogs' condition. We ate, paid, and treated everyone with respect. I do this job too, and I don't dare swear at customers. Not at all.
I'm sorry, but I think you know that staff education is just as important as the success of the dishes, so although I had considered returning to this corner of paradise during the warmer months, I'm forced to say NEVER AGAIN.
And my sincere advice: if you can't keep your mouth shut, at least keep your door shut.
