05/09/2025: I've been there several times; last Saturday I ordered a pizza that was served overcooked with some charred parts. I pointed this out to the lady serving me, and she readily agreed they'd remake it. My friends' pizzas had already been served, but they quickly brought me a new one. Compliments to the service and cuisine! Recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

29/06/2025: It was the best salmon steak I've ever had. The sauce wasn't special or anything, but the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the envy pasta was a little salty for Korean tastes, but it was so delicious that it was okay. After eating two dishes, I realized it was a great restaurant, so I ordered ravioli as well, and this was so delicious that I was impressed... Try the ravioli and salmon steak..! The dessert wasn't too sweet and was so delicious.

03/09/2025: Good morning, my review concerns the restaurant where I dined on the evening of August 29, 2025. I don't usually write negative reviews; I always give the benefit of the doubt, but it's also true that if you don't write them, everything will always seem perfect. My review is completely divided and divided between the cuisine/food aspect and the location/service aspect. The food, dishes, and quality of the ingredients are excellent, but there are some things I didn't like: a place that presents itself and rightly charges like a good restaurant. I find that when booking, the customer should be informed if their table will not be inside the restaurant but on an outdoor veranda, without any furniture, covered with plastic sheeting and heated with mushrooms (not the edible ones). Once informed, the customer decides whether or not to accept this arrangement. I, as a customer, book to dine at a restaurant. Another thing that didn't work that evening was the service, performed by a very kind young man, but unfortunately he didn't get anything right that evening: no wine list, asked for bread, forgot to bring it when I'd finished, asked for a dessert menu, forgot, I saw them and ordered them online... but I repeat, he was young and kind, it can happen... I find it even more unpleasant, since the owners were directly involved, to place a customer on a veranda without information, unfurnished, noisy because it was raining that evening and making it difficult to talk, and also a bit cold because it was heated with "mushrooms". Would I go back? For the food, definitely; for everything else, I'd have to think about it.

25/08/2025: This is a review of the restaurant. So we asked for a reservation and they said they were fully booked except for one left at 7:45. We got here at 7:45 and we were one of two groups that were here. A total of no more than eight people were here. For the remainder of the next 1.5 hrs, nobody showed up. We had to sit in the back room because they were too busy for us at 7:45 ( mind you only 6 people here). So we had to sit in a room. We could not sit outside, even though there was plenty of seating. It was absolutely shocking to see this. That being said, the food definitely was worth it as much as I would like to give them three stars, for the fact that they stuck us in a back room when nobody was in the restaurant, the food definitely was worth the five stars. The first course was homemade deer Prosciutto served with homemade horseradish and pickles. It was a small serving of bread that was absolutely amazing. The second course included homemade pasta made with local cheeses. Also very good! The main course was the play, which was by far the most tender, flavorful beef we’ve ever had . I highly recommend you get it . The second main course was polenta with a cream sauce, shaved with black truffles and chanterelles. A poached egg on top. I have to say that that was the most delicious polenta I’ve ever had A bottle of wine and they have a very good selection of wine here ranging from €30-€700 . Definitely a must try while here in Cortina D’‘ampzzo. The chef’s name is Luca Menadri and and he has obviously been more trained in the culinary arts. But just remember, you might end up in the back room with no view with an entirely empty at restaurant if you don’t reserve in advance !

18/08/2025: A true refuge, as it should be. It's certainly not perfect by our hotel standards, but we're in the mountains and use it for hiking. The menu is minimal but good and plentiful. The mattresses in the dormitory are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The craft beer is also worth trying. Well done, keep it up!

11/08/2025: A typical, unpretentious restaurant with a good aesthetic finish, but you come to these restaurants to eat well, be greeted warmly, and get a fair price/quality ratio. That's why I give it 5 stars. I've been here several times and will return. It feels like family. The waiter is extremely kind and friendly. 100% recommended.

23/08/2025: Nothing to complain about the pizzas and desserts, quite the opposite... There were nine of us, old friends, and they seated us at a round table: a great idea, allowing us to chat and exchange glances and memories. It was a shame about the scorching heat (perhaps some of the guests didn't like the air conditioning?) and the noisy room. Highly recommended, though!

22/08/2025: Nice place, characteristic of the place, varied selection also pizza, good and friendly service, the only flaw is the food good in parts, that is, from the menu a lot of expectations then instead it is average, I must admit that we tried only a few dishes so the rating could be better I will try to try again.

31/08/2025: Exceptional. The property is old, but there are things that go above and beyond: kindness, service, cleanliness of the rooms. Plus, the restaurant is a surprise. I stopped for one night because I was passing through on a bike tour. They have a bike storage facility. They're friendly and make you feel at home, even if you're alone. The gnocchi are truly excellent (everything is good). I needed a hairdryer to dry my wet clothes, and they provided one right away. For this price, I've NEVER found anything better! Ad maiora!

16/08/2025: The lady was very nice, we informed her in advance that we were not guests of the hotel, but we would like to have dinner. The homemade spinach pasta was divine, as was the panna cotta. Lovely place, we had a great time. Thank you.

24/08/2025: The place is nice and the food is good, but the price? It's crazy for the location, and I agree that the quality is excellent and the food is well-cooked, but that shouldn't give them the freedom to charge so much. What a shame.

22/08/2025: The kindness and courtesy of the staff and the small size of the place reflect Ariet. The food is perfectly plated and of high quality. Nothing to complain about. I will definitely be back.

08/08/2025: Excellent food and very friendly service. We stayed at this refuge for a family day out and were delighted with both the good food and the service. It's a mountain refuge, so it's a bit of a walk.
