18/07/2026: A restaurant with characteristic local decor, excellent for a meal after a hike in the mountains. The staff is quick and very friendly. The food is very good, and I recommend the Skywasser.
21/06/2026: A typical ski slope restaurant serving traditional Dolomite mountain dishes. The interior design is very distinctive, all in wood, with sculptures, paintings of deer antlers... you can tell they spent a lot of money on the decor! This restaurant is always crowded and is conveniently located just steps from the Piani di Pezze-Col dei Baldi cable car. The food is good, and the table setting is carefully designed to impress the customer, even visually. Prices are higher than average. The staff are friendly and helpful.

08/06/2026: It's was a near perfect experience. The food was absolutely incredible, the presentation of the food AND the drinks was awesome and original. I had a wonderful time here and I'll try to come back some day. Thank you !
03/06/2026: Central location and friendly staff. The food was good, although the selection was limited. The focus is more on quality. The cheek was truly excellent, melting like butter. The strudel was also really good. It's a shame about the chicken cutlet, which was a bit stringy.

26/07/2026: Food was average, prices good. Poor service, no bread at table, no placemats, no cutlery, they took an order and didnt have any of it but instead of telling us, they just didnt bring it out. Please sharpen your game, your food is not bad!
21/07/2026: Casual restaurant; excellent food (I recommend the venison shank and tagliatelle with ragù). Fast service, very friendly and helpful staff, and more than reasonable prices. Reservations are not accepted.

13/07/2026: The menu is quite diverse, including dishes from the Dolomites, with a predominance of Tyrolean fare. What we ordered was well-made, especially the goulash. Service was really fast, and the price for two (2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 1 bottle of Prosecco) was €100.
Contrary to the photos online, they don't make pizza (you've been warned...).
12/06/2026: The lady with blonde and curly hair told me it was closed and the kitchen is closed when obviously there were people inside and it smelled like food. I was with my baby in my arms, maybe that’s why. Anyway, first time ever.

13/07/2026: A place where you can pass through several valleys. Good cuisine with quality local dishes. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the terrace with its wonderful view. The interior is less impressive, but we're in the mountains and I prefer the outside anyway. Depending on the season, it can get particularly crowded. Prices are average, which also reflects the effort to offer quality just 200 meters away. We'll be back.

06/07/2025: We stayed here as part of our mountain bike tour across the Alps and were very satisfied. We had two double rooms. One was newly renovated, which was fantastic. The second room wasn't renovated yet, but was very spacious with two rooms. It worked perfectly for us. The service was very attentive and helpful, even though we had to overcome our language barriers.
Dinner and the following breakfast were extensive and delicious.
I'll be going back!

11/08/2024: Nei 10 giorni del mio soggiorno a Malga Ciapela, tutte le volte che mi è stato possibile, ho approfittato per prendere o un caffè o un gelato o della pasticceria nel bar dell’hotel alla posta poiché il ricordo che avevo della mia vacanza trascorsa qui con i miei genitori nel 1990 è molto positivo. I prodotti sono molto buoni ma sinceramente ho trovato ogni volta il personale non solo poco cordiale ma quasi scocciato nonostante mi fossi SEMPRE rivolta con garbo ed educazione cosa quando invece ho notato tutt’altro atteggiamento quando il cliente era del posto. Faccio fatica a comprendere questo atteggiamento. Che i miei soldi con cui ho pagato ogni volta siano diversi da quelli dei caprilesi?!
08/03/2024: Ristorante apparentemente elegante, pretenzioso nei prezzi e nel coperto (4€) ma quando ci hanno portato l’olio, su nostra richiesta, siamo rimasti stupiti dal fatto che ci presentassero una bottiglia da supermercato di olio di marca comune. Una caduta di stile piuttosto rilevante

Ci andavamo spesso prima del covid e ci siamo tornati con entusiasmo. Purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi, anche dai prezzi delle portate non proporzionato al contenuto del piatto ( ad esempio formaggio a pezzi, con 3 pezzettini di polenta alla griglia e funghi a 18€)

14/01/2026: The restaurant is in a 1970s hotel, never renovated. Service is poor; we asked for the dumplings they serve to hotel guests, but they didn't even answer. The food is subpar. Don't go there for the restaurant.
01/01/2026: We had a fabulous New Year's Eve. We were warmly welcomed, the staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious and plentiful, and they always stopped by to ask if we wanted more. The music was fun, and the atmosphere was warm and festive. We danced happily until the early hours. The price was excellent and affordable for New Year's Eve.
