A truly lovely place. It's only just reopened, I'd say; it's warm and welcoming. The cake is delicious; we're sorry we found it on our way out. A nice break on the way up to the source of the Piave River!

An authentic mountain retreat, run with love. A truly unforgettable experience at Baita Rododendro. I was looking for a place where I could rediscover the true, authentic mountain atmosphere, and I found it here, thanks to Cristiana and Silvia, two sisters who, with courage and dedication, are carrying forward a truly valuable family project. I must say that the choice was based on a recommendation from the village, and I can confirm that it was spot on in every way. We ate wonderfully, with carefully prepared and authentic dishes, in a simply enchanting panoramic setting that leads even further up to the source of the Piave River. The courtesy with which we were welcomed was rare these days, genuine and spontaneous, never superficial. Special praise for the prices: absolutely fair, especially considering the quality and the fact that the lodge is not connected to either the electricity grid or public services. Maintaining such a high quality standard while operating with a generator is an achievement that deserves recognition and support. What's most striking, in my opinion, is the passion that shines through in every detail. You can sense that behind this business lies a significant family history, one of sacrifice, planning, and vision. I learned that Cristiana and Silvia are building something that goes beyond simple catering: they are preserving and enhancing a piece of authentic mountain scenery, following in the footsteps of their father, who passed away some time ago. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking quality, genuine hospitality, and a view that makes every effort worthwhile, even though it's easily accessible by car. I'll definitely be back, because I had a wonderful time and made a great impression on my travel companions. To Cristiana and Silvia: keep up the good work, you truly deserve it.
