03/11/2025: I was truly satisfied, first and foremost, with the service—the kindness, courtesy, and hospitality of the waiters. It was an experience of local flavors, with beautiful presentation. The chef puts heart and soul into what he does, and the food is quality. I also asked for wine recommendations, and they were spot on! What can I say...a truly one-of-a-kind experience! I will recommend and hope to return!

They also serve the meat- eaters with thick juicy steaks cooked to profession, great variety side dishes that they bring to the table, then this the place is for you & your family and friends. 02/03/2026: Customer for more than 30 years! This place has been amazing every time. The atmosphere was modernized, but the food is as good today as it was more than 30 years ago. I never tire of the bigoli d’anitra, braciole di vitello, and mixed vegetables and french fries. Debora has built an incredible team in the kitchen as well as customer facing. The outdoor seating from Spring through Fall is magical and unlike anything else I’ve experienced over many years in Naples, Rome, and Vicenza combined. Such a special place, special food, and above all such very special friends!

05/02/2026: Locanda Lo Scudo is a truly interesting, refined, and elegant place. It's a place where you immediately feel at ease, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service. The staff is always smiling and professional. We ate fish and loved it: especially the sea bass, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful experience; we relaxed and disconnected from everyday life. A very beautiful, charming, slightly quirky place, and above all, with truly delicious cuisine.

08/02/2026: The food is truly delicious. The staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and exceptionally kind... the classic place that makes you feel right at home. The icing on the cake is the homemade tiramisu, prepared with great dedication right before your eyes... a spectacle and a truly unique delicacy. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant with friends. Let's start at the end, with the bill, which, according to all the guests, was completely at odds with the experience we had. The dishes were good but sparse, not worth the price tag. The service didn't live up to what they offer or would like to offer. Often, there's a huge difference between what's written on the menu and what actually arrives at the table, like with dessert, when you read on the menu that a tiramisu is made to order and then you get a tiramisu that's clearly pre-made. At a certain point, we no longer heard the pleasant background music that had accompanied us since the beginning of the dinner, a clear message from the staff that we had to leave. In short, we had come here to experience the delights and service of this renowned restaurant, but of all that, we found only the costs and nothing else. What a shame.

14/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. Impeccable service. Good, well-prepared food. Both the staff and owners were friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. The food was truly delicious. A year later, everything is confirmed. Another year has passed, and I can still confirm what I said previously. One note: the price, for a pre-arranged menu for 20 people, seems a bit excessive. Last year, we paid significantly less and the dishes were the same. There's no question about the quality.
