We arrived at a time when it was already full, but the waiter told us we could come back in half an hour and he would reserve a table for us. My boyfriend speaks Italian, but unfortunately, I don't. In other restaurants, this has always meant that the waiter generally only spoke to my boyfriend. Here, however, the waiter made sure to explain everything to me in English, and I felt welcomed. I definitely wanted to mention that! It was truly amazing. The food was outstanding, and the service was simply excellent. A small note: the online English menu didn't match the Italian menu at the restaurant, and we couldn't have found the cheese platter as an appetizer on the main menu. Thank you so much for the wonderful service!

03/11/2025: Great experience... We came to Orvieto for a short trip. At lunchtime, we looked for a restaurant and found Trattoria dell'Orso. We ate very well, everything was truly delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. Highly recommended. P.S. The background music was also perfect.

18/10/2025: Nice place. We ordered umbrichelli all'amatriciana and pappardelle al ragù. Both dishes were good, but we would have preferred an amatriciana with more of the flavor of the guanciale, which instead remained soft and almost flavorless.

The spaghetti alla Nerano is superb (delicious!), not to mention the octopus poached in tomato sauce; the mussel soup is excellent. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming, and we're also fans of the Granata. Reasonable bill. We'll be back as soon as possible to try the pasta and potatoes with smoked provola cheese or the "real" spaghetti with clams. Congratulations, and go Granata!
