19/01/2025: With my family we stayed from 28 to 01/2025. We give 5 stars on everything. Starting from the welcome and professionalism received from the staff, the rooms were extremely comfortable, beds with new and comfortable mattresses, spotless, modern and quiet. The genuine refined food is cooked really well. The dinner was well organized with music and excellent dishes. The presentation of the room is impeccable with a huge and warm fireplace always lit. We had a lovely New Year's Eve!!! The first party's lunch was obviously equally beyond our expectations. The buffet breakfast always allowed us to choose between sweet and savory in abundance. Fresh pastries from the pastry shop every morning!!!!! The climate was cold but even upon returning from the various daily excursions, we had an entertainment room available for all guests with board games, TV etc and if I must say... it would have been nice to find the fireplace lit there too, given that was there (but this is my thing!) Another thing: place strategically positioned to reach Spoleto in a short time and not only that. What can I say: thanks to the owners and all the staff for making us feel good and leaving us with the memory of a very pleasant stay. ♥️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

07/01/2025: The structure, although dated, is in excellent condition, equipped with a lift, the staff are friendly and kind, full of advice and directions, the food is excellent and the prices are low. The property is located in a very quiet area and you can enjoy peace and serenity, well connected by an excellent road.

22/12/2024: I went there today with my group for the archery competition. We only ate a quick pizza, but we found courtesy, professionalism and a lot of kindness. The building is positioned in the midst of so much nature that it takes your breath away. I'll be back for lunch or dinner, I'll definitely change the review later.

14/01/2025: Stumbled upon it by chance...a small inn with great attention to detail, with very accurate and attentive service. We tasted several excellently executed local specialties. cardoon parmigiana... exceptional!

06/02/2025: Locale molto bello nel bosco, pietra travi in legno e camino. Cucina ottima e carta dei vini ampia e ben curata con ottime etichette umbre ma anche nazionali. Tutti i piatti assaggiati (patata ripiena di uovo e tartufo, strangozzi al tartufo, cervo con polenta) curati e con personalità. Personale affabile e competente. Staconsigliato! Prezzi non bassi ma a mio avviso in linea con la qualità e con l'ambiente nel suo complesso.

23/12/2024: Siamo arrivati in questo bosco incantato , all ingresso il personale cortese ed attento ci ha fatto accomodare al nostro tavolo . Siamo partiti con un midollo di manzo con la sua tartare, abbiamo scelto poi dei chitarrini al tartufo bianco (slurp), sublimi. Fegatelli di maiale , costine di cervo con frutti rossi e raponzoli in accompagnamento. Il tutto,per nostra scelta, abbinato a calici di vino di alto livello. Un plauso alla direzione.

29/09/2024: We stayed at Borgo della Marmotta for 5 nights and loved our time there. The property is stunning and the perfect blend of rustic, cozy, and thoughtful. PROS: beautiful setting, great pool area, clean/simple/cozy rooms (we stayed in a superior), warm/helpful staff (thank you Luca for making our stay so special!), and nice breakfast spread (meats/cheeses, fruit, baked goods, coffee). CONS: our mattress was very firm and not the most comfortable (this is a personal preference), persistent issues with A/C in the room (however, the staff was very responsive and worked to help fix the problem which was so appreciated), and dinner food was just ok (we had better meals outside of the hotel). For us the pros significantly outweighed the few cons. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Umbria!

03/02/2025: A nice restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the ingredients were fresh. The place was clean and tidy. We had the pinsa and they tasted well. The pinsa bread were well crafted. The food were served fast and warm. Recommended👍🏻

29/01/2025: Il locale,si trova a Petrognano,non distante dalla strada tuderte che porta a Spoleto.La terrazza e la vista sono uno dei punti di forza del locale che nelle sale interne è datato anche se caratteristico.Il menù ha piatti sia di carne che di pesce (prezzi nella norma),abbondanti e di qualità media.Nota dolente il servizio,lento, con una sola cameriera ai tavoli.
