20/07/2025: Bel posticino, ottimo per una sosta veloce. Il cibo non è male, birre nella media. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale simpatico, soprattutto i camerieri canterini. Consigliato per un pranzetto veloce.

19/07/2025: Questo locale, oltre ad offrire una buona cucina, ti fa immergere nel buonumore spoletino. Consiglio d farvi portare un caffè e chiedergli di cantare la lirica. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

26/08/2025: The only place we found without a reservation at the end of a day in Spoleto, and it was a pleasant surprise. The place is a bit dated, but it has a homey feel. The menu offers a wide selection. We ordered three pizzas and a main course. Good quality at very competitive prices. The restrooms are in acceptable condition.

20/08/2025: If you have a lot of time to waste, that's great! We had booked the table in advance, sat down at 8:45 PM, and after two requests, we were able to get the menus within 15 minutes... We should have known right away that things would take a long time: we started dinner at 10:00 PM!!! Hamburger sandwich: two burgers on two dry slices of bread, with no condiments, sauces, or anything else... Mixed grill: the pork shoulder was like a shoe sole, and once it cooled down, it was terrible... The lamb was passable, and the burger was good. I had asked for cooked vegetables... They were good, but they arrived 15 minutes after the grill! Normal prices, but terrible wait times and service! We'll never go back! Oh, the tables next to us were in the same situation, so it's just their way of working (they told me it's first come, first served... OK, but if you can't handle the crowd, you'll have to let them know in advance!!!)

07/08/2025: We had breakfast there—the croissants were fresh and delicious. Then we went back for gelato—also excellent. The staff were very kind. Thank you so much!

07/07/2025: Located on Garibaldi Square, Bar Gelateria Cattarinelli enjoys a nice location, with a large outdoor terrace, and seems to offer a wide choice of pastries and ice creams. However, we tried it as a bar, just for coffee and drinks, and the experience was rather negative: very limited choices of products, staff quite careless and level of cleanness low. Not recommended!

19/08/2025: Yesterday I went with my family to this restaurant set on a mountain with a road that you could almost call dirt where there is not even a small house but all in all we ate well we had a tagliata with Colonnata lard paid 15 € each and some homemade chips. The tagliata was very good and also the chips but the chips were literally 10 and paid 5 € a rip-off. A very kind girl served us but the food arrived later than the other tables

19/08/2025: The waitress got annoyed just because we asked if there was a table for 8 or two for 4. She started arguing and complaining to us, then she left and came back, continuing her argument with us, then she did the same... we left in disbelief; they probably bother the customers!

16/08/2025: I think the chef has changed because the difference from last year is visible and noticeable. It used to be a bar and restaurant, now it's a bar that also serves food. It's fine, but there are plenty of better options. It's a shame.

12/08/2025: Located in Spoleto's market square, this is definitely an excellent bistro where you can enjoy good food.

24/06/2025: I began the evening in Piazza del Mercato at the Cava Osteria Bistrot with a hearty red wine from Montefalco, which is the next town over about 5 miles from Spoleto. It has about 524 inhabitants, but they know how to make a good red wine. I then enjoyed an amazing salad of octopus, potato, tomato, and olives from Liguria, and the waiter and I had a jolly conversation about the best region for olives. I then opted for one of the evening recommendations, the Strangozzi with Tartufi/truffles and pistachio. All in all, the food was wonderful and the service was personal and kind. Thank you!

15/08/2025: Perfect, very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating staff... excellent, generous breakfasts and clean rooms with all the comforts. I highly recommend it. Plus, there's plenty of parking and it's just a stone's throw from the center of Spoleto. It'll take you 1 or 2 minutes by car at most.

15/06/2025: The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Spoleto, but it is an oasis of tranquility. The swimming pool surrounded by greenery, with a slope of olive trees framing it, is undoubtedly the strong point of the entire structure. The veranda intended for breakfast is very particular and appreciated, with large windows and stations similar to those of a vintage train. The breakfast is quite varied and genuine. As for the restaurant next door, where we had dinner, the quality is average (neither infamy nor praise) and the prices are decidedly reasonable, so the evaluation is positive. The staff is always courteous, the atmosphere is almost homely and informal. Albergo La Macchia is the right place if you are looking for a place to escape from everyday city life and find refuge from stress.

25/06/2025: Guys I want to finish here, too good. And my favorite sushi restaurant. I come from another city to eat. I tried everything, because I could not believe that everything is good, everything, I even like chopsticks. Always kind, they have the best desserts like in the pastry shop. Everyone has their own taste, mine stays here. Bye

06/09/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they gave us a choice of two tables, despite being booked on most of the others. Menu choice was small but varied to accommodate different tastes. All authentic to the region and locally produced. The food was exceptional. No other words for it. The taste exquisite, presentation superb and sizing just right (not too small to leave you hungry, not to large to feel uncomfortable stuffed). I wish I'd taken photos, but I tucked in and couldn't stop till we'd finished. I had sliced steak with salad, my husband had a wild boar pasta dish and lamb chops. Delicious 😋

09/08/2025: I'm not judging the food since we weren't even served it. We booked on July 18th for August 2nd. We arrived and were met by a rather grumpy waitress who asked us if we wanted to eat inside or outside. Shortly afterward, she came out again to ask when we'd called to reserve the table. Finally, the owner came back to us, handing us his phone and saying he'd had plumbing problems that day. It was a shame there were other cars outside... We were so disappointed that we were forced to get a takeout pizza.

03/07/2025: Ormai la confusione regna sovrana nella ristorazione l aggettivo al nome dovrebbe spiegare che tipo di locale uno trova...comunque un bel locale... in pietra viva e legno... mto bello... Le pappardelle al piccione ottime.. solo che io mi pongo sempre una domanda:quale è la giusta grammatura di un piatto di pasta... credo che 50grammi sia un po' troppo poco...e una mezza porzione Abbiamo chiesto un insalata di pomodori e chi hanno portato un pomodoro spaccato in due ... credo che sia in gesto offensivo nei confronti dei clienti... Come è vergognoso far pagare 3 euro 0.75 di acqua... questa violenza dei ristoratori di imporre dell acqua minerale e poi speculafci sopra è vergognoso... non si può pagare 4 euro al litro l acqua... Ne si può pagare 3 euro di coperto.... Addio...

20/05/2025: Il ristorante è immerso nelle verdi colline umbre, location molto bella soprattutto se si mangia fuori. Abbiamo mangiato bene, i ravioli all’oca un po’ deludenti e il servizio un po’ lento ma nel complesso una buona esperienza, carta dei vini davvero bella

02/06/2025: Tempi infiniti per l' ordinazione e comunque servizio disorganizzato al massimo. Primo arrivato con un capello poi comunque rimandato indietro. Nel complesso cibo discreto. Non lo consiglio in maniera decisa.

05/05/2025: Horrible servicio. No nos sentaron porque no teníamos reservas. Así que salí, hice una reserva en línea y volví y les dije que tenía reservas. Nos sentaron, pero estaban claramente molestos. Esto es a pesar de que el restaurante nunca estuvo más de 2 / 3 lleno. El servicio era extremadamente lento, sacaban las cosas a diferentes horas, etc. Además, la comida era promedio, en el mejor de los casos. No muy sabroso. Gran decepción.

22/08/2025: The service is truly awful: the staff, besides being slow, tends to ignore customers... If it weren't for the iconic status of the well-known TV series, potential customers would treat them the same way. I definitely won't be returning: people tend to only visit places where they've been treated well.
